There’s beauty in the art of teasing. To build the groove of a night slowly and piece by piece is a commonplace ideal, but not many are willing to sacrifice the early moments of gratification for a potentially more rewarding experience. Enter Garçon: The Basel-based music afficcionado has steadily built his reputation as an expert in mood modulation. Combining hypnotic grooves from all corners of electronic music, he’s crafted a style firmly rooted in techno, with a singular affinity for the dubby, rhythmically dexterous landscapes that stretch beyond. An original resident of (now defunct) Basel institution Hinterhof, Garçon – in cooperation with ally Agonis – continues developing the Amenthia imprint’s unique sonic identity.Their RA profile lists Amenthia Recordings.often with Decoder, 20h OHM, 22h Globus, none of them here that night

The Konduku back catalogue runs from ambient to broken beat electronica, but a techno sensibility remains at the core of all his work. Albums on Nous'klaer Audio and Delsin Mantis afford plenty of space to take in the full scope of his sound, while singles for labels like Bitta, Spazio Disponibile and amenthia have all confirmed his influence as a producer testing out new possibilities for immersive dance music. At the same time, Konduku's DJing channels the vast, atmospheric quality of his own music into a more direct, floor-focused approach that orbits around constant, understated pressure. It's a clear-sighted, intentional flipside to the productions he's so well known for, perfected since his early days as a De School resident and successfully delivered across the club and festival landscape with a full-bodied commitment to physical and mental movement.Their RA profile lists Delsin, Idle Hands, Bitta, Nous'klaer Audio and 6 more.Recently at Berghain, Sonnenraum, Backsteinboot · often with TRESOR, GLOBUS, K Wata, none of them here that night
