the whole biography
AgainstMe is a greek Berlin-based DJ, Producer and core member of USM Reccordings. The project “AgainstMe” came to life two years later after his first Rave / Techno parties in Lesvos, Greece. For him at that point, techno music was something completely new, uniting and revolutionary which was going against everything that he had experienced before. The distorted textures and the heavy drum patterns along with the ritualistic vibe of these parties made him immediately fall in love with everything around this sound and what it stands for. Since then, his music got released on different record labels around the world like Key Vinyl, Tar Hallow, Token Records, HAYES to name a few. He already enjoyed support from artists like Ben Klock, Dax J, DVS1, Rodhad, K-Hand, Mikael Delta, Richie Hawtin, Kanding Ray and many more. For him, the absolute goal of a DJ is to connect with the crowd and build a unique moment together. So his sound could be characterized as multidimensional, energetic and storytelling. He holds a residency at SMUT Athens and Closer Milano and some of the venues he performed at are Fuse Brussels, Saule, Tresor Berlin, RSO, FOLD to name a few. Currently, he has just built his new studio in Berlin and he is experimenting a lot with Modular Systems and unorthodox techniques to produce grooves and bleepy patterns.Their RA profile lists Subsist, 47, Tar Hallow, Warok and 4 more.Recently at Tresor / Globus, Lark · often with TRESOR, GLOBUS, Marsch, none of them here that night
“Chris Liebing is on the creative hot streak of his life.”
their own biography
the whole biography
Chris Liebing is on the creative hot streak of his life. It’s now 30 years since his rocket ride through the dancefloors of global techno begun – but the current phase encapsulated on the 2026 Evolver album pulls together all the reasons he always loved what he does, all the things he’s learned, and a new-found confidence born of deep introspection, and channels it all into focusing and intensifying his DJ and production superpowers. The exact same energy he threw into his early residencies at the foundational techno temples Omen (Frankfurt) and Tresor (Berlin) is there, but enhanced with all technological advances and study of what moves ravers worldwide, it feels as vivid and important as ever. Chris grew up in a small town outside Frankfurt. As a boy he was always uncertain of himself yet was compelled to focus on what interested him. He pursued playing tennis to a very high level and felt that might be his path – but absolute obsession with music compelled him even more. From listening alone and deeply at home, through pause button cassette DJing at teenage parties, to a residency at a commercial club on the fringe of Frankfurt with rickety decks balanced on the bar, his desire to be surrounded by the sounds he loved, and also to work out the techniques that could draw others into what he was hearing and keep them locked in to it. A job at Sven Väth’s Eye-Q label led to a fortuitous chance in late 1995 to fill in for a last minute drop out in The Omen – which he smashed so convincingly he quickly became a big local name. His break at Tresor came in almost identical circumstances, and from then on he has been a watchword for the most fundamental, sweat-drenched, joyously powerful European techno which he has taken to dark cellars and vast festivals the world over. His productions, labels and radio / podcast work have likewise kept the faith for the pure, energetic forms of techno whatever trends have risen and fallen. There’ve been diversions into brooding experimentalism for the legendary Mute Records, but always that deep and powerful original pulse has been there, not least via his hugely influential CLR label – and now it’s stronger and more vividly present than ever.Their RA profile lists Ovum Recordings, Mute Records, novamute, Rekids and 6 more.Last at RSO.BERLIN in Nov 2025 · often with SUMME, Elli Acula, Alfred Czital, none of them here that night

There’s an ineffable feeling that one has after a Jesse G set, often evidenced by an upward turning of a lip corner, a child-like sense of discovering something new, or a renewed understanding of the word “fun.” Proficient at working a crowd, Jesse G wants you to feel whatever you want to feel during her sets, as long as it’s something. Known for her energetic, genre-spanning sets that surprise and delight crowds, the Berlin-based Techno DJ’s big sound is a playful wide range medley of deep, metallic and trippy to groovy, jacking, percussive sounding Techno with diverse rhythms and UK bass influence. Growing up in Wiesbaden, Germany as a child of Filipino and Sicilian immigrants, Jesse found music to be a lingua franca that connected her with her surroundings. Her early introduction to music was through R&B, Italo Pop, and Rap and her deep curiosity and engagement with music in all its forms still guides her today. Describing DJing in her words as „a way to express how she hears the world“, her exhilarating sets borrow from a diverse range of sonic spaces and one can often detect influences from different genres such as bass music, breakbeat, house, reggaeton and dancehall alongside her meticulous and expansive feel for varied techno grooves and rhythms. Her distinctive sound is also informed by an encyclopedic understanding of electronic music and her craft honed over her nearly six years as an integral member of the staff at the hallowed Berlin record store, Hard Wax. In addition to holding down residencies at RSO Berlin and Tresor, she has brought her sound to venues such as De School, Berghain, Open Ground, and Blitz Club; and graced festivals including ADE Het Weekend and Nachtiville.Recently at OHM, Haus der Visionäre, Berghain · often with Berghain, Dangermami, Xiorro, none of them here that night
“Before there was EDM and its multiplying sub-genres, there was techno.”
their own biography
the whole biography
Before there was EDM and its multiplying sub-genres, there was techno. And at its forefront, is Joel Mull. Fueled by a passion that has become increasingly more defned and tangible over two decades, the Swedish DJ/producer has been an avid pursuer of the sound from when he was a teenager. In the process, he has become established in techno’s vanguard. Mull’s introduction to techno came when, as a 16-year-old, he made the pilgrimage to Manchester, UK’s storied Hacienda nightclub, propelled by his interested in that city’s early ‘90s indie dance scene. He was refused entry to the club for being underage and ended up in a basement with garbage bag-covered walls, lit by a stroboscope, fled with smoke, and techno blasting. This was Mull’s frst encounter with the sound. “I had heard acid house, Balearic stuf, but I had a mental thing with techno,” he says. “The disharmony, the weird sounds, it was so intense. I got really hooked.” Upon his return to his hometown of Stockholm, Mull’s pursuit of techno led him to dance record shops, techno parties, and the rave scene, where he immersed himself in the sound. At the same time, he started at an arts high school as a continuation of his musical upbringing: singing in a boy’s choir from when he was seven years of age where he practiced eight hours a day and performed every weekend. This was another factor that drew Mull to techno. “I was very tired of the square way of seeing music and it´s rules,” he says. “What techno did was break rules. You didn’t have to be a musician in order to create techno. It was another way of making music: sampling, ftering, efects, generating diferent colors. It made me explore music more, gave me courage to search for diferent methods to combine music. It was, in a certain way, chaos, and that was attractive to me.” Befriending likeminded peers, Mull’s brotherly association with another techno stalwart, Adam Beyer, began in high school. Spending days listening to Beyer’s record collection, it was from him that Mull learned how to DJ. His first public performance as a DJ was during the afternoon break at school using the school’s sound system and his own turntables to entertain his classmates. From here, Mull moved to the second rooms at parties, DJing ambient and chill-out sounds, a good training ground for him when he was still learning how to beat-match. Mull’s real education as a DJ came when he moved to Germany in 1994. For the first six month he was resident at club called Labor, in the north then becoming the resident at Unit in Hamburg from 1995 to 1998. Here, he played marathon sets lasting 10 hours. He was also the opening and closing DJ for marquee international guest DJs at the club. Playing the gamut from hard techno to acid, trance, and ambient styles, Mull learned the art of being a DJ. His crafted sets were, and are, mesmerizing; taking their time to grow, reaching a delayed crescendo that is much more powerful than the instant builds and drops of today’s predictable EDM. “The way I see DJing is telling a story,” says Mull—who despite the multitude of stamps in his passport makes a point of playing in his hometown at least six times a year to stay connected to the scene from which he came. “Your identity as a DJ is your way of telling the story. You have so much power behind the mixer, controlling these frequencies, you can make people forget everything and just be there in the moment. It’s not about bringing the noise and hands in the air, that instant reaction. For me, it’s about taking your time to build something, taking the crowd—and yourself—to a different place. Techno is about that hypnotizing, long-spanning journey. It’s where I come from; it’s what I strive toward.” Mull’s production know-how started and moves at the same pace as his DJing. His initial forays into making techno happened in Beyer’s fateful bedroom where the two of them and their friends pooled their resources to obtain classic pieces of outboard gear: a synthesizer and a sampler, which they plugged into Beyer’s mixer and started experimenting. Their trial-and-error eforts gained them enough recognition to start releasing music on a multitude of labels. Mull released his frst full-length artist album, Imagination in 2000 on his own label, the defunct Inside. A representation of himself at the time, Imagination is a personal piece of work whose creation played double duty for Mull by serving as therapy of sorts. He followed Imagination with The Observer in 2007. The Observer was released on the re-launched Harthouse label, which once belonged to techno godfather Sven Vath, a major infuence on Mull. The Observer was developed as a live project and put together like a DJ set with gradual builds and movements similar to what Mull would perform at a club. His next album, Sensory in 2011, was released on Beyer’s Truesoul label. This musical home gave Mull the comfort and confidence to really be himself, designing an album geared toward the dancefoor. More lately he released on labels like Parabel, which he is also part of the label team, Nicole Moudaber’s respected MOOD imprint, the Dutch Mary go Wild, Leipzig based Distillery records and Sasha’s standard-bearing Last Night On Earth—a particular badge of honor for Mull who considers Sasha a major inspiration. Not to forget under the alias Gotzkowsky, Mull released the track Shoulder of Orion, on the Berlin-based label, Dystopian. “Techno is not as rebellious as when it started,” observes Mull. “People used to not understand music being made with computers and synthesizers and not ‘real’ instruments. They didn’t consider it music. The kids that went to techno clubs only drank water and danced their asses of. The clubs couldn’t make money of of them. He continues, “But techno was always the music of tomorrow. I knew that way back then. The formula of techno is so basic everyone catches it. At a time when you’re getting bombarded with media and diferent frequencies, techno streamlines everything, gathering people into one frequency that feels harmonic and united, a feeling of being together.”Their RA profile lists Underwater Records, Tortured Records, Cocoon Recordings, Liebe*Detail and 6 more.Last at ://about blank in Dec 2025 · often with karete bu, André Dancekowski, Julio Paradise, none of them here that night

Defined by a technically-deft skill set (Resident Advisor recently proclaimed: “Now this is how you mix techno”) Rachel Noon is a fearless and uncompromising presence both behind the decks and on the dancefloor. Despite her rising European acclaim and recent appointment as resident DJ of Pornceptual, Noon attributes her significant career strides to her hometown of NYC and to Brooklyn's inspiring underground queer scene. Active as both artist and raver there, she successfully fostered a vibrant community of friends and like-minded peers. This community gave rise to her roaming event series LARGE MARGE which has since expanded internationally, with exciting plans ahead. Now from her home-turf Berlin, Noon has co-founded the intimate queer party series mp3, which has rapidly gained popularity in just two short years. If you ask Noon, her most exciting artistic initiative is currently going down inside the studio; she and her friend Steffen Dix have teamed up to form Self Care Starter Pack (or simply, SCSP), a production and live performance duo. Together they have cultivated a process-driven practice whose work takes a nose-dive towards hardware-only experimentation and the integration of optics into performance. Their first single was already released on the mighty Mala Junta x Amniote Editions compilation, and the duo debuted their live set in the fall of 2023 in Berlin. Rachel Noon, a true dancefloor devotee, has been hailed "equal parts DJ and rave spirit."Their RA profile lists Fast Forward Productions.Recently at MaHalla, Fitzroy, arkaoda Berlin · often with Carly Zeng, Mike Servito, CRYME, none of them here that night

The Berlin-based Italian goes further than your average “crate digger” in pursuit of information about sounds, styles, artists and record labels, devoting countless hours to unearthing the untold stories behind the music he loves, regardless of when it was made. Adriani’s obsession has naturally shaped his other musical endeavors, not least Mannequin Records, the label he established over than a decade ago, voted label of the month by Resident Advisor in 2017. Over the years, the imprint has won praise from buyers and critics alike for its open-minded blend of on-point reissues, archival collections and fresh productions. The intriguing, leftfield mixture of material on offer – think techno, electro, cold wave, industrial, EBM, minimal synth, and more – is naturally a reflection of Adriani’s wide-ranging and off-kilter tastes (as you’d discover if you had a quick flick through his vast and growing record collection). Adriani is distinctively drawn towards the dark and obscure, and you can hear this approach amongst the long, drawn-out mixes of his similarly eclectic DJ sets. Alessandro has contributed outstanding mixes for Resident Advisor, FACT, Crack Magazine, Bleep, Cxema and Dekmantel. On the festival circuit he’s made appearances at Berghain, Tresor, Atonal, Boiler Room, Dekmantel, ADE, Dimensions, Neopop, Positive Education, Signal and more, together with his bi-monthly dates at Berghain and Panorama Bar, a residency he’s held from 2016 to 2020. As a producer, Adriani’s output naturally draws on these inspirations, but also reflects his obsession with electronic hardware. Under his own name Adriani has built a reputation for delivering heavy, angular and forthright club cuts for such celebrated labels as L.I.E.S.
