Tim Niwo is a Berlin-based DJ and vinyl selector with roots on the Baltic coast. He found his way into electronic music in 2014 at UKW - Kraftwerk in Rostock, where he has been a resident ever since. His sets blend driving and hypnotic techno with raw Detroit cuts, dub weight and spacey, ethereal stretches, leaving room for bleeps, classic trance and uplifting moments, held together by storytelling, not by one tempo or texture. He works in arcs instead of peaks, reading the room and following where it pulls him. Since moving to Berlin in 2018, his perspective and his taste have continued to widen. Alongside his residency in Rostock, he has played at clubs including ://about blank, Renate, Sisyphos and Hamburg's Südpol. Besides DJing, he is part of the Chimaera collective, with whom he runs Chimaera Festival and a series of parties in eastern Germany.often with Marcel Koar, Die Anstalt, Adelheid, none of them here that night
