A juicy project born in Berlin, through downtempo and experimental tracks, but expanded to energetic dancefloor productions and DJ sets. The Apricots’ mixes are exploring styles with a dauntless approach and an energetic curiosity, waking back to life the 90s house, trance and rave euphoria. Although it’s a fresh enterprise, The Apricots already performed at Fusion Festival, Waha Festival, Electric Castle Festival, Club der Visionaere and Hoppetosse Berlin, Renate Berlin, Contact Amsterdam, Ojoo Music and Funke Club Gent, Platforma Wolff Bucharest, Control Club Bucharest. The Apricots recently released their debut split EP at Orbital London and started the event series Apricots’ Jam in Berlin, Bucharest and Milan with guests like: Bobby., Alec Falconer, Harry Wills, Rob Amboule, Enchanted Rhythms, Federico Molinari, Salomée and Vale Colvin. Alexandra is a Black Rhino Radio resident, with her monthly show “Ears Wide Open” and the former co-owner of the Berlin-based electronic music label and party series Melliflow. Dj & producer, raised in Chisinau, Republic of Moldova, based in Bucharest, Romania, with a big passion of discovering sounds. A constant inner traveler in frequencies that is always ready to share his experiences through the music he produces. His career in electronic music started in 2011 in a collaboration project with his brother - “Hermanos” followed by an event series in Chisinau called “SOLAR” where they are gathering likeminded artists and people from all over the world for the love of music, dance and nature. With some good skills kept from the past events and collaborations and promising releases coming up in near future, Ygor still prefers to keep a low-profile because only art is what really matters in his perspective.Their RA profile lists What Now Becomes, Conceptual Records, groove.ro and Mawnakeja.
