It symbolizes, too, the meeting of two forces, two trends which are reflected in the life of the young artist. From House, Dub and Techno of all decades and seasons he creates something that can be called the essence of electronic music. In his DJ-sets, which are deep, last several hours and give you the feeling of being on another planet, he can live his melancholic, introverted side. Her mostly vinyl sets are 90's UK/US/DE inspired, supported by strong percussion, rhythms and a spiritual touch. Always aiming to engage in a conversation with her crowd, dancing to her sets will release that inner gangster gut feeling in you. Body focused, voluptuous house and techno at its best. Doudou MD strongly believes music has the power to heal and serve as a medicine, which is one of the main reasons music has always been at the core of her life. Following her ears and heart when digging for new records, her bag is constantly being re-filled with a rich variety of music. Although the rhythms and genre of her selection may vary, the constant factor is her unmistakable love for every track she lays on the record player. After spending her early (club)years in Utrecht and Amsterdam, surrounded by her forever cherished Slapfunk and VBX brothers, she spent 5 years in Berlin. Here clubs like Berghain, Hoppetosse and Ohm played a big influence on her musical and personal developments.     Since Marcel Koar first watched the Loveparade on a tube TV, he has been deeply in love with club music. Perhaps it was this initiation ritual that has kept him loyal to vinyl records to this day, making him one of the rare vinyl-only DJs. His heart also beats for analog mixers, and he can endlessly rave about the advantages of rotary mixers. He does so in the same way he DJs: with elegant understatement and moments of ecstatic energy. The many crew members who are captivated by his sets appreciate this about him. As part of Children Of The Drum, the Chimaera Festival, MiDi, and as a regular organizer of his own parties, he's had plenty of opportunities to prove it. By now, he hasn’t only played everywhere with a sound system in his adopted home of Dresden; his understanding of house music is also well-received across the rest of the country—and even more so, heard. But don’t ask him about tracks or artists, because for him, music manifests through album covers in his mind. Beyond Dresden his musical journey has taken him to the Netherlands, Czech Republic, Poland and Ukraine - most recently even to Berlin’s notorious Sisyphos, about Blank & Golden Gate. Chapeau! No matter where he goes, no dancer’s heart can save itself from his fine house, acid and wave right up to disco beats.

With notable contributions to books, performances, and the creation of the Intergalactic Research In stitute for Sound and I/Y labels, he has consistently pushed the boundaries of techno.     For over a decade, the Berlin-based DJ Jessamine has been passionately engaged in the electronic music scene with a keen dedication to the music. As a member of the ://about blank collective from the very beginning, he helped establish and build the club into what it is today. There, he co-organises the much appreciated monthly club night Blank Generation, where you will also find him playing deep and timeless house music, rooted in the tradition of the genre but with a contemporary twist. Subtle, chord-driven tracks seamlessly combine with dry Chicago-style tools, producing tension and dynamics underpinned by an ever-present emotional nuance. It is a profound experience to see a crowd be brought together in an almost transcendental way by house music. He himself is a firm believer in the idea summarised by jazz musician Albert Ayler: “Music is the healing force of the universe”.

    For as long as she can remember, Annegret Fiedler has created electronic melodies to soundtrack her daydreams. Drawing on her early love for brooding New Wave and Post-Punk, she became Perel, an electronic producer, vocalist and DJ who spent much of the 2010s shaping her sound – and to just praise. As well as being the first German artist to sign to James Murphy’s seminal dance-punk label DFA Records, Perel has performed internationally as a live act and DJ, from the floors of throbbing techno clubs to major city festivals. Growing up in the East German state of Saxony, she learned how to write and produce songs, inspired by Apex Twin, Kraftwerk and The Cure, among others. Later drawn to Berlin and its underground club scene, she took on the persona of Perel, writing, producing and singing on solo material for labels like Running Back, Uncanny Valley, Kompakt and Permanent Vacation. In an ever-evolving club scene with myriad faces, Perel stood out by singing over her DJ sets, bridging the mood of her own live sound with her selections. Perel drifted into the orbit of the heads of DFA Records, who released her debut solo album Hermetica in the spring of 2018. Her sound has a natural kinship with DFA: playful basslines undulate as thumping house and techno synths drive home the message of her hooks and refrains, ghostly vocalizations that speak of romance, dread and power.
