When you hear creeping high hats, hypnotic beats and a pop of acid, chances are you‘re hearing Britta Arnold from the console of her musical spaceship. Straightforward and distinctively poised, her unique blend of beats makes for a milkshake of cosmic potency. For this elegant fire red, her pledge to break norms and find the hottest music on the block has gained her quite the following and opened up a fantastic world of people, places and special moments. Since co-founding the Bar25 label in 2006, her nights are spent playing gigs anywhere between Asia, America and Europe, while many of her days are spent in the studio where she dreams up new music. She has released on Katermukke and Heinz, remixed tracks by ‘It boys’ Satori and Stavroz, and been remixed by the likes of Claude VonStroke and Ruede Hagelstein. Aside from this, her new musical project ‘Britta Unders’ with Amsterdam based Unders, is adding even more magic to her minutes. They are playing sets from sundown to sunrise together all over the world but also started a new label Happy Camper, this will be launched November 2017 with artists as Mira, Be Svendsen, dOP and Noraj Cue. When not doing these things, she’s probably planning her GRRR Mit BRRR party — a celebrated event at the Berlin club, Kater Blau. A born and bred Berliner who never had to learn how to be one, Britta reflects the city in which she still calls home: a little edgy, a little down to earth and always filled with artistic ambition. Having once lived in a caravan with her cat ‘katuscha’ on the grounds of the Bar25, she takes this Happy Camper vibe with her into every space she enters, whether the club, the festival, the studio or a walk through her home town. With the support from her global electronic family pushing her in the right direction and a naughty box of tunes on her back, the future of this lady from outer space only goes from strength to strength. So get your space suit on and go intergalactic roaming with your best friends and lovers. Do it to the hypnotic and wired sound of Britta Arnold.Their RA profile lists Lebensfreude Records, BAR25, Dantze, Katermukke and 5 more.Recently at Kater, Kink Bar & Restaurant, Golden Gate · often with Mira, EXTRAEXTRA, Caleesi, none of them here that night

It was Franca’s school bus driver who brought her in touch with electronic music and made her buy her first vinyl’s. That was in 1996, at the age of ten. Many years and records later, Franca is loved around the globe for her energetic, creative and groove-driven dj-sets. She knows how to conquer the dancefloor, moving with her audience, listening carefully and always staying three records ahead of the crowd. She maintains a constant level of energy, playing on the fringes of house and techno. It’s no wonder why Franca’s fans give her their undivided attention at each and every show, and with one thrust of her arm to the air, you will remember why you love music and why you love to dance all over again. Franca was born in Munich, musically-raised in Cologne and now lives in Amsterdam. She is part of the Feines Tier agency, based in Cologne. She has just recently become a resident Dj at the famous Kater Blau club in Berlin. “Few artists embody the metaphor of life as a journey quite like Joyce Muniz.”
their own biography
the whole biography
Few artists embody the metaphor of life as a journey quite like Joyce Muniz. Born in Brazil and raised in Vienna, the DJ, producer, vocalist, and radio host is now based in Lisbon, after spending a decade in Berlin. She runs her studio and hosts a show on FM4, continuing to bridge cultures and scenes across Europe. She first made her mark at Vienna’s legendary Flex club as a DJ and MC before moving fully into production, releasing on leading labels including Exploited, Get Physical, Kompakt, Permanent Vacation, International DJ Gigolo, and Pets Recordings. Joyce also spent five years as a radio resident on Rinse FM UK, further cementing her presence across Europe’s electronic landscape. Joyce’s creative world has expanded significantly in recent years. She became the first woman to join Germany’s Synth Live orchestral project, taking her hybrid electronic–orchestral show across the country. Her 2023 album Zeitkapsel (“time capsule”) represented a major artistic leap and the launch of her own imprint, Joyce Muniz Music. The record revisited the sounds that shaped her — from trip-hop and downtempo to drum & bass, house, and electro — with highlights such as the Portuguese-spoken anthem “Arrivederci Bella.” A deep spiritual and artistic transformation also fuels her work. After overcoming cancer in her early 30s, Joyce returned to her Brazilian roots through plant-medicine traditions linked to her grandfather’s shamanism — a rebirth that continues to guide her creativity and purpose. During the pandemic she honed her technical craft, completed a Bachelor’s degree in radio presenting, and led workshops for Native Instruments, sharing her knowledge and creative approach with a new generation of producers. Her momentum has only accelerated. In 2024 she released “No Haters” with Renato Cohen on Permanent Vacation, followed by her breakout Kompakt debut “Beats & Lines” with Sara Bluma — a track that held the No.1 position on Beatport’s Indie Dance Chart for several weeks. In 2025 she returned with the Afro-electro single “Mo Dupe” on Exploited, a lo-fi Yoruba-inspired homage to gratitude, and the powerful Kompakt release “Hack The System” featuring Futuradora, blending electro energy with sharp socio-political commentary. In 2026, she continues to expand her artistic reach. She was invited to curate and create the Studio Hub — a program of workshops and masterclasses for the first edition of the Lisbon Dance Summit — further establishing her role as an educator and community builder. The year also opened with two standout releases on Kompakt: “The Freeze” with Mexican icon Andrés VII and “Quiero Tu Amor” with Chilean artist Alejandro Paz, both highlighting her dynamic collaborative spirit and global sound. On the road, Joyce tours nonstop across Europe, the Americas, and Brazil — where her achievements earned her a Mixmag cover feature. Joyce Muniz is an artist in constant evolution: a boundary-breaking producer, a magnetic DJ, a cultural connector, and a storyteller guided by rhythm, identity, and spirit. With new releases and collaborations ahead, her journey — already spanning continents, styles, and generations — is only just beginning.Their RA profile lists Defected Records, Sony, Poker Flat Recordings, Get Physical Music and 6 more.Last at Else in Jun

Recently at Kater, Jonny Knüppel, Mammoth Moma5 · often with Foolik, Sheila, EXTRAEXTRA, none of them here that night

“For a while, he has been using different types of percussion elements.”
their own biography
the whole biography
For a while, he has been using different types of percussion elements. The result is an enjoyable rhythm, which communicates with its audience in a very particular way. In a playful approach, he creates an incredible repertoire of feelings that reproduces within the crowd. Mathias’ various sets include the following sound features: funky, freaky, dashing, dub, slamming, enriched by African and South American percussions. Inspired and motivated by the first House & Techno DJs at Bioxultra in Gera he got his first turntables at the age of 14. One could argue it is necessary to live wherever the sound rises at a particular time. However, Mathias draws on his own strengths. Away from sated urban in- and output, he has always maintained the objectivity for his music. For 7 years, he has been the resident DJ of the well-known club Muna. He is not only DJing there, but he also supports talented folks within the Freshblood project. Additionally, he is jointly responsible for the Klanglauf events at Kassablanca in Jena, as a DJ and organizer. Together with Marek Hemman, Mathias released 4 EPs on the label Freude am Tanzen and 4 own EPs on Vakant. Amongst others, he also did remixes for Matthias Tanzmann, Onur Özer, Dapayk, Anja Schneider, Daniel Stefanik and Trentemöller. DJing and, later on, the production of electronic music have been his occupation since 1996. With his style of work, Mathias joins those, who refuse to produce and release music excessively. Thus, the necessity to make records that will remain long lasting is one of the guiding motifs of his profession.Their RA profile lists Vakant, Cargo Edition, Freude Am Tanzen, Lebensfreude Records and 6 more.Recently at Kater, SAGE, Berghain · often with Annina, none of them here that night
“Somewhere between stardust and strobe lights — inviting dancers to close their eyes, open their hearts, and get lost in music.”

Somewhere between stardust and strobe lights — inviting dancers to close their eyes, open their hearts, and get lost in music. With three decades of rave culture and a decade behind the decks, Mimi Love takes her audience on an electro-nomadic journey. Her sound is shaped by the world around her, shifting from groovy tunes to grounding house — always with deep feeling and a sincere vision. Her ability to weave different genres into a captivating, hypnotic musical experience is what makes her unique. Mimi Love plays house music for dancers who love to dance and lovers who love to love. Her journey began at the legendary Bar25 in Berlin, where she spun dreamy downbeat tracks — until the "four-on-the-floor" sound stole her heart. With this newfound passion, Mimi Love launched into a new dimension. Today, she tours Europe, the Americas, and the Pacific, while her roots remain firmly planted in Berlin. From Katerblau to her ties with the Bachstelzen Collective and unforgettable sets at festivals like Garbicz and Fusion, Mimi Love consistently brings her “Love Sound” to the crowd. Mimi Love is more than music — it’s an experience. Her sets are a cocktail of exotic sounds, sprinkled with disco stardust. Even in her early years — adding stilt-walking magic and hands-on carpentry to Berlin’s hedonistic scene — she infused everything with wild spirit and elegant charm. Today, she radiates her inner light, blending influences into something uniquely her own. Genres are just boxes — Mimi Love plays moods.Recently at Klunkerkranich, Schönwalde-Glien, Grünefeld bei Berlin, Germany, Kater · often with Caleesi, EXTRAEXTRA, Mira, none of them here that night
“As a producer, musician, DJ and serial collaborator, Chris Schwarzwälders distinctive style of deep, restrained house is hard to pin down, but you’ll always know it’s him when you hear it.”
their own biography
the whole biography
As a producer, musician, DJ and serial collaborator, Chris Schwarzwälders distinctive style of deep, restrained house is hard to pin down, but you’ll always know it’s him when you hear it. Born in Frankfurt am Main in the 80s, he started playing hiphop in the 90s. While making beats on his MPC2000, he dropped into Offenbach’s Robert Johnson club and fell in love with techno. In 2009, Chris moved to Berlin and started DJing at KaterHolzig, where he found a group of people who thought about music in the same way he did. In contrast to the trends of the late 00s, the sounds being made from this little paradise on Berlin’s river Spree were slower, softer, and more soulful than a lot of what was being played in clubs at the time. It was here that Chris began to cement his reputation as both a solo producer and collaborator, who was capable of bringing his trademark sounds to a whole number of side-projects - many of which have gone on to play to crowds around the globe. He joined the Feathered Sun collective in 2013, together with a group of friends including Acid Pauli, Nu, Jo.Ke and Raz O’Hara. Dreamy, groovy and often improvised, the collective represented a special kind of musical freedom in which a group of producers came together to create something new in a singular, live moment. At the same time, Chris’ friend Mira was making moves of her own, and they started to play back-to-back sets, soundtracking the legendary Monday mornings of KaterHolzig, and now, Kater Blau. The two, who are both residents at Kater Blau, have now been playing together internationally for almost a decade, and have formed a common musical understanding that translates throughout every one of their sets - deep, clubby and melancholic. This partnership has also carried on into the studio, where they have collaborated on numerous hits. His most light-hearted side comes out in collaboration with Iannis Ritter, where the two musicians take on a weirder, more melodic & electro approach than Chris’ other proejcts. If you were to ask him, Chris would describe himself as reserved, logical, rational, melancholic and humorous. Which is why you’d never hear him telling you about the hundreds of nightclubs and festivals he’s played around the globe, or the number of hits he’s had with his productions. If you’re lucky though, Chris might tell you about his favourite synthesizers, and get lost in a conversation all about electronics and sound. Which is exactly where Chris wants to be - lost in electronics and sound.Their RA profile lists Circus Company, Kindisch Records, Stil vor Talent, Fenou and 6 more.Recently at Kater, Zuckerzauber, MaHalla · often with Mira, EXTRAEXTRA, Sven Dohse, none of them here that night

BIOGRAPHY: Playlove was born as a Sunday..s Child named Nathalie Brunner in Vienna 1981. Her parents live in Nigeria (West Africa) at that time where she spends most of her childhood surrounded by sun, sea and a lot of love. She is addicted to music from the beginning on. Dancing on the backseat of the car to Depeche Mode, Madonna, Prince and all the other records her parents were listening to. Playlove early gets in contact with electronic music styles such as trip hop, jungle and techno. Love at first sight! She buys her first turntables at the age of 19 under the influence of her uncle Tom who earns his money as a dj in London, New York and Miami. In a little while Nathalie starts spinning at the parties she launches together with her close friends from the Team O¨KM (association for the preservation of austrian body-music). Ever since Playlove spends her time djing, working as an audio engineer and organizing parties. In 2003 she starts setting up her own clubnights (Dual Sensor System - Welcome To Electro Boogieland) that finally lead to the opening of the now legendary club 'Cabaret Renz' in Vienna. Alongside she programs the electronics for the jazz band 'Auddiction', joins 'Acid Eddy & die Ho¨hlenmenschen' for experimental live showcases, forms 'Bunny Hop' an audio-visual live act and helps setting up the underground techno parade/demonstration FreeRePublic 2003 in Vienna. Playlove leaves Vienna In 2004 to start as a promoter in Munich. She begins her career at Michael Reinboths well-known Compost Records and moves to Upstarts underground label legend Disko B and the affiliated Chicks On Speed Records. Soon she finds her club residency at 'Rote Sonne'. Still unable to rest, she lives and workes in the Bavarian capitol, always in a hurry to move things, start new projects, fill spaces and decides to join Electric Indigos 'Female Pressure' Network. After these very wild years it was time for her to move on. In 2008, just one day after she finished studies and passed her exams in Munich, Nathalie moved to Berlin. As a goodbye present, Disko B sent her to play at their Labelnight at Club Tresor Berlin. The enthusiastic club-promoter invited her to be resident at this legendary Club right away. After a little while working as a full time dj around Europe she was seeking for a new challenge and found it as a film editor in Zurich (Switzerland). Still in 2008, still addicted to bass and with her lovely attitude she became a shooting star in the local underground techno scene. Playing at the finest underground in- & outdoor events around Switzerland, Playlove soon was resident in the major clubs and festivals such like Hive, Cabaret, Lethargy and Schatzalp. In 2009 her good friend DJ Nat invited her to become part of the Scandal! Crew, who are well-known as the freakiest bunch of crazy woman doing scandalous underground-parties in and around Zurich since 2005. With her special energy she soon organized a regular party for the crew every three months at Club Cabaret. Beside organizing events she is well booked with her unique mixture of trippin techno, dirty house and deep detroit. This vienna girl with her big music-lovin heart rocks the dancefloors of this planet! Spinning Vinyl in places like Bar25 (Berlin), Arma17 (Moscow), Razzmatazz (Barcelona), Club Tresor (Berlin), Rohstofflager (Zurich), Ritter Butzke (Berlin), Malzfabrik (Berlin), Kubik (Berlin), Superkronik (Leipzig), Suxul (Ingolstadt), Pratersauna (Vienna), U60311 (Frankfurt) and Festivals like Kazantip (Ukrain), Streetparde Mainstage (Zurich), Lethargy (Zurich), Vision (Switzerland), 25th Anniversary of Nachtschattenverlag (Interlaken), Shining (Bavaria), Female Pressure Tour (2008), Marry Klein (Harry Klein/Munich) and many more. RSS Disco have become synonymous with euphoric experiences for festival & club audiences all over Europe. Coming from a background of house and techno they use their straws to slurp across (and to the very bottom of) the cosmic melange that is music. Just add a cocktail umbrella for mixing. The trio, who learned to dance to electronic music in Hamburg, stand for synthesizer disco, acid-dripping house and psychedelic techno like few other electronic musicians. They bring a sparkle that never feels made up. They play big indie festivals as well as Ibiza, dark clubs as well as small dusty dancefloors by lakes. They release mixes for Dublab Radio in Los Angeles, ARTE Concert, or The Lot Radio from New York. Their live recordings or remixes for Tomemitsu, Keshavara, Rupa or Fotos have hundreds of thousands of clicks. And their version of "Les Taxis Pour Les Galaxies / Le Vent Nous Portera" is already a classic and will never stop generating goosebumps on dance floors all over the world. Off the dance floor they also keep busy, running their Label Mireia Records with releases by artists like Johannes Klingebiel, Tomemitsu, Das Komplex, Johannes Klingebiel, Jacques Bon, Zombies in Miami, Casino Times or Lauer and Erobique. ..transforming her perspective on music. From then on, Danielle set about translating over 20 years of classical training into her newly awoken passion. In 2005 her hard work and determination began paying off. After her very first club gig in January, she moved on to dual residencies in Boston and NYC, and by March debuted at the Miami Winter Music Conference. Danielle built on this promising start, playing regularly throughout the US and South America, before going on to play her first European gigs. She began releasing music in 2008, both digitally and on vinyl, through a number of US and EU record labels. Becoming known for her unique minimalistic take on techno, Danielle's artistic presence was quickly recognised. Combining idiosyncratic sounds with percussive detail to create animated bass patterns and melodies, she moved away from the established NYC sound towards a more stripped back, raw and organic form of dance music. With an increasing demand in Europe, including her fist gigs on the festival circuit, in 2012 Danielle based herself in Berlin for the summer months. Seeing an opportunity to focus on her musical career, she relocated permanently in 2015. Since making the switch Danielle has balanced DJing and production, playing regularly throughout Berlin and beyond, her Friedrichshain studio offering her sanctuary from a hectic calendar. Keeping this balance allows Danielle to continually road-test new work, ensuring her productions always have the dancefloor in mind.Their RA profile lists Musiq Records, Thoughtless Music, Klectik, minitec series and 6 more.Recently at Golden Gate, Crack Bellmer, Bulbul Berlin · often with Koljah, Justin Cudmore, none of them here that night
