Some years ago and driven by inspiration Annett Gapstream started expanding her music project from home and closest friends to clubs, festivals and a whole bunch of like-minded people. It’s Techno – at least somehow. Colorful dark day techno probably describes her sound best. She enjoys life between playing and producing music. After starting releasing tracks in 2018 her latest tales can be found on labels like Rebellion der Träumer, Stil vor Talent and Nown Music. Annett Gapstream does things that feel good right now without trying to already rack her brain during the first track too hard about the last one that might or might not follow. Journeys can change and so do her sets. This is also what identifies most in her productions and collaborations with others – definitely electronic music, mostly straight but always open-minded for powerful twists now and then. So, yes, for sure - there was that dreamy and almost cheesy sunrise moment in the last festival season...

Exploring Germany’s underground Drum n Bass scene, her interest in electronic music started rising up until she reached her final destination and techno capital - Berlin. Finally in 2021 she found something that gave her the same thrill as performing on stage as a dancer for many years - moving behind the decks. It filled a whole in her that has been empty since she stopped her dancing care.

Several years ago he experienced the enchanting pull of the mystical nights and days at electronic music festivals. What has most shook his consciousness was this new, loving encounter of community, which is resembled by those playful nights, when strangers meet under the shivering roofs of trees and stars. By combining an eclectic genre mix he's reenacting these experiences of togetherness in the uniting strength of deep rhythms and heavy percussions.

Now Berlin-based, he threads that formative schooling into sets that glide from disco-fueled grooves to the punchy momentum of modern house, always tuned to the pulse of the floor. "Ach, krass. So'n Sound macht der jetzt?" - das ist so ziemlich die erste Reaktion, wenn jemand Rampues "Sonne, Park und Sterni" hÃ¶rt - ein Hit. Und ehrlich gesagt, ja, Audiolith, Rampue, das war alles mal anders. Der Junge hat vieles durch, weil er gesucht hat. Und man muss ihn nicht fragen, man hÃ¶rt es, er hat jetzt seinen Stil gefunden. Rampues Sound - so der erste Eindruck - ist dort gelandet, wo er auch wohnt. Das klingt nach Berlinsound im verkuschelten Sommer 2011. Aber wenn man dann noch mal hinhÃ¶rt, wenn man zu seinen Livesets tanzt, dann passiert genau das, was man auf einer TanzflÃ¤che will: Man muss die Augen schlieÃŸen, ein leises StÃ¶hnen entweicht und dann kann man entweder tanzen oder hinhÃ¶ren was Rampue zwischen Soul-Vocals, bassigstem Bass und zielgenauer High Hat da feinfÃ¼hlig kreiert und hinschachtelt. Man kÃ¶nnte jetzt noch Referenzen nennen, um eine Genrebezeichnung zu vermeiden, aber ganz ehrlich, Rampue ist noch mehr als Keta-Disko und Disko-House, der wird weiterhin suchen. Und man mÃ¶chte keinen Schritt dieser Suche mehr verpassen.
