“Don’t Call It a Comeback!”
their own biography
the whole biography
Don’t Call It a Comeback! Nicole Da Silva has already made a name for herself as a model, actress, and singer. It’s true that she stepped back from the spotlight for a while — her role as a mother took priority. At the same time, she used that period to develop her new artistic identity as a DJ and creative performer. “This is a new chapter in my life. The track ‘AHO’ marks the birth of my next creative phase as a vocal DJ,” says Nicole. Nicole Da Silva grew up in rural Hesse in a Portuguese family. As a child, she performed in her uncle’s band, won modeling contests as a teenager, quickly landed acting roles, and graced the covers of top magazines. But music has always been her greatest passion. She released her own songs and contributed to U.S. pop productions. Her life story reads like a movie. And considering the short time in which all this happened, one could say: Nicole Da Silva has experienced it all. “Every day is a new beginning,” says Nicole Da Silva. Her message is: “Today Is Life!” And she shares this positive attitude with a vibrant blend of Afrohouse and Melodic House music. As a DJ, she’s now a fixture at the world-renowned “Bootshaus” club in Cologne. Nicole Da Silva has also enchanted and energized countless party crowds at festivals. One reason why her performances leave a lasting impression is her selective and impactful use of vocals in her DJ sets. “I started out as a singer… and I’ll always be one! My voice is the heart of my studio productions. And of course, vocals have their place when I’m on stage,” Nicole explains. “When I sing, my DJ sets have a special live moment — and I can touch people on yet another level.” Her first mission is always to get people dancing — just like she wanted to as a teenager. The logical next step: enjoy life and live in the moment. “Life Is Today!”often with Klanglos, Claudius, Ephy Pinkman, none of them here that night
