Coco got his infusion in the nineties. Result: heavily techno addicted. Since then he's a dj and appears as Coco or Coco Berlin. For more than two decades he is celebrating and organising (in cooperation with Empro) his infamous 36-hour party "Betriebsfeier" at Hoppetosse (by CDV) in Berlin, which is known for its unique freedom, true spirit, excellent music and heavy partying. Coco regularly plays Berlin clubs like Sisyphos, Salon zur Wilden Renate, Kater Blau, Goldengate, Watergate and many more. Nowadays he also infects the Netherlands, Spain, Belgium, Denmark, UK, Switzerland, Czech Republic, Poland and Slovakia with his charismatic and surprising mental influenced mix of darker Minimal, House, Techno and a touch of Wave and Retro. Coco is also one of the creators of the "Rote Dichte Festival" and was one of the inventors of the former monthly event "Hummmpday" at Salon zur Wilden Renate. Empro grew up in Thuringia in East Germany during the late 80s. His interest on the variety of electronic music awakes in the mid-90s. Following the move to Berlin in 2000 and an intense journey through different styles of the new music movement, he quickly dipped into the scene and became an active part of it. Until today techno music has not lost anything of its charm to him. Empro has the pleasure to play his music in clubs and on festivals all over the world. In 2012 he became a resident DJ at the world-famous club Sisyphos in Berlin. Empros first DJ gig was in 2003 at Underground Berlin below Alexanderplatz. Numerous gigs followed and within a short time he played in Berlins most popular clubs like Panoramabar, Watergate, Tresor, Bar25, Maria, WMF and Polar TV. You can describe Empros music as trippy, twisted, dynamic, organic, daisy and always forwards. He is well-known for his energetic enduring TechHouse Sets, alongside he invites everyone to listen, feel and enjoy the music and makes everybody dance like nobody is watching, also himself. Taken by the desire to create something unique he founded together with Ruede Hagelstein the booking agency Mind The Crap in 2004. Afterwards he decided to set up his own and still ongoing business project „free agency“. In 2011 he had his own Techno Club called Levee. Besides he is the initiator of varied party series in and around Berlin like HomeSweetHome (in co-op with Marcus Meinhardt) and Betriebsfeier (founded in 2003 together with Coco Berlin). Moreover he supported the Melt!Festival with organizing the Sleepless Floor for many years and was involved in festivals like SonneMondSterne, Fusion and Sonar OFF. Apart from being a DJ all over, he released since 2006 his own productions and remixes on several labels like BAR25, Heinz Music, Upon.You Records and Freizeitglauben. He began playing in 1996 when he used to perform with the already well known DJ Sidecar who was a house DJ at the time. They played together at XT3 and Punto Azul, and later on at Roxy, Radost FX and Akropolis. The turning point in his DJ career came in 1998 when he became a member of the legendary group Roxydust managed by DJ Loutka and Petr Hosek. Thanks to Roxydust he played at Roxy such parties as Shake, Batrave, 7:33, Saladas etc. Today Lucas Hulan is one of the top young Czech DJs, playing at most of the Czech clubs, all of the important summer festivals (Creamfields, Summer Of Love, LPC, Cosmic Trip..) and at major outdoor parties. You may also have heard him abroad, in Berlin (Zur Wilden Renate..), London (Wiggle Parties, The Egg, The Lightbox, Nomad, The Whitehouse, Scala, The Factory..), Brighton, Sweden, Poland, Italy, Greece, Swiss or Costa Rica (Vertigo Club @ San Jose, Tamarindo, Jaco Beach Festival) and he often plays at our neighbors in Slovakia. For a long time he co-operated with the singer Charlie One (Wubble-U, UK) who accompanied him with her vocals and with whom he would like to produce a track in the future. Lucas Hulan is owner and label manager of respected electronic label Nightphunk Recordings which releases music by artists such Silverlining, Stratasoul, Asad Rizvi, Herb LF, Shades Of Gray, Deepchild and others. Resident DJ at legendary Roxy, Radost Fx and Chapeau Rouge. In the Czech Republic he is represented by Chapeau Rouge where he also has his resident session Nightphunk featuring Mr.C, Eddie Richards, Nathan Coles, Bushwacka!, Alex Arnout, Silverlining, Mike Monday, Omid Aka 16B, Asad Rizvi, Corrie, Just_Me, David Delgado, Tom Gillieron, Deepchild and others... He did also legendary warehouse party called Mikro at Microna where he played with artists such Tobi Neumann, Alex Arnout, Seb Zito, Tigerskin, Arapu, Faster, Gathaspar, Burnski, Guy From Downstairs, ONNO, Martin Landsky, DJ M3, Eddie Richards, MANIK (NYC), Lee Jones, Boris Werner, Monika Ross and many more... Lucas Hulan has been for a number of years one of Prague's favourites and a local music head. Runs his label Mikro Records and Telepatin where he brings together a mixture of styles roaming from deep to techno. His music most definetely known to most of clubbers and ravers but always leaving space for something new, a new vinyl, an old one?who knows...The mystery surrounding his djs set is what makes him the artists he is now. Marco Resmann (Upon.You Berlin) Biography Berlin. The mid 90s. The home and the heart of electronic music with its countless legal and not-exactly-legal venues, a flourishing scene embracing all kinds of genres from Techno to House and beyond, with tapes on circulation, regular radio shows and an annual climax named Loveparade. Infected by and brought up on this wide ranged diet of electronic sounds Marco Resmann started to work on what should become his profession of the future. Led by his neverending love for House Music he stepped up on stage, eventually started to promote parties and built his Audiogain studio where he continuously honed and refined his production skills on analogue gear. Soon this steady work paid off in form of a first release on Martin Landsky's Intim Recordings as well as other highly acclaimed 12“es under his former artist alias Phage. Around this time in the mid-noughties Marco Resmann also became part of the production force named Pan-Pot which redefined the trippier side of Minimal Techno at the time. Apart from these projects, it was another fruitful collaboration that was meant to last. After meeting and immediately clicking with Norman Weber they started to DJ together on a regular basis before they joined forces in the studio, establishing their project Luna City Express as a main project of Moon Harbour Recordings with numerous EP's, Remixes and a widely praised album named Hello From Planet Earth, all of them providing tasteful, open minded House Music from Germany. Backed by this experience and an excellent reputation a DJ Marco Resmann joined the world famous Berlin-based Watergate club as a resident in 2006 and has played countless nights in this hallowed space ever since as well as graced the tenth anniversary volume of the Watergate Mix-CD series with a flawless tour de force ride through his personal club favorites and anthems in February 2012 – a mix that can be considered a milestone in his remarkable career so far. A career that came full circle when Marco Resmann finally joined forces with one of his first advocates, DJ and producer Martin Landsky, for their first collaborational release „Lava“ which was put on the circuit via Upon.You in 2015. As a solo producer his discography includes critically acclaimed remixes and releases on imprints like Watergate Records, Upon.You, Poker Flat and, lately, the Brazilian imprint Warung Recordings, all of which are serving a unique fusion of House and Techno with a recognizable twist and a love for detailed, complex arrangements. But there's even more to Marco Resmann than being the expert producer who fully masters his craft and DJ who is playing out to devoted crowds on a regular. Hosting Upon.You label nights at Berlin's famous Panorama Bar for six years has played an essential role in Marco Resmann's approach towards extended DJ sets with whom he pleases crowds all over the globe – from German festival sites like Fusion and Melt! to internationally renowned venues like DC10, Upon.You showcases all over Europe, Watergate @ Sonar Off Week as well as Brazilian superclubs like Warung and D-Edge as well as in other South American countries where he is greeted by an especially dedicated, loving followership whenever he touches down at any location in this part of the world. As co-founder of the Berlin-based Upon.You Records, one of the major forces in the international club scene since 2007, Marco Resmann has been spotting upcoming talent and consistently invested dedicated, straight-up work in the house he and his labelmates have built – labelwise and also with their associated booking agency Upon.You Bookings.
