“"I can sell out Madison Square Garden masturbating." —Mike Tyson MOONBOOTICA saves lives.”

"I can sell out Madison Square Garden masturbating." —Mike Tyson MOONBOOTICA saves lives. MOONBOOTICA guarantees the fun of excess. A great gift to mankind. Without fun, this world would recede into clouds of grey. And who wants that? With MOONBOOTICA, everybody has the freedom to say no to grey. On one condition: fun has to be discovered and used to full effect, with every sinew stretched. Once you’ve got that far, things begin to relativize, delusions of grandeur seem as easy as ABC, thanks to MOONBOOTICA. The powers that be strive for greatness, growth, expansion? MOONBOOTICA rise up to the challenge twice over! Composure through relativization, at the end of the day, MOONBOOTICA always have more in the tank. This calming influence comes courtesy of the “bigger than life” mindset, the classic Funkadelic lesson succinctly stated: “Free your ass and your mind will follow.” As a DJ and production team, MOONBOOTICA has represented maximum torsion since 1999. But endurance is merely one of the Hanseatic duo’s most distinguished qualities. Together they represent a bulwark against inconstancy and are nevertheless always ready to smash borders. Including their own. There are two of them, after all. A two-headed unity IS MOONBOOTICA, and that’s what it’s all about, IS: double-loaded, twice as focussed, twice as big. The double greatest. Even when Kowe Six or Tobi Tobsen should tread the boards alone, the format remains the same. Each of them is double MOONBOOTICA. And vice versa. MOONBOOTICA’s unique lack of respect in the interests of wildstyle is both a virtue and a call to arms. If refinement of taste should run the risk of imploding, there’s no better tonic than a dose of MOONBOOTICA. The antithesis to light and minimal dictates. It couldn’t be any easier or more effective. A track, an album, a set – well-being is just a question of the right dose. In case of doubt: more is more. Whilst somehow, the love of a grand pose notwithstanding, remaining the same, in appearance and reality. Without resorting to trickery, ironic dissociation or in-jokes, MOONBOOTICA offer themselves up to the audience. As vulnerable as they are sure of victory, the duo has everything a good, open drama needs. Only that everything does not end up in pools of blood. When others reach for anabolics and pimp their track to the limiter with everything they can get their hands on, Kowe Six and Tobi Tobsen simply rely on where they came from. Style was laid in their cradle like a golden curb chain. Their musical trajectory, five albums and hundreds of shows prove as much. MOONBOOTICA is, by nature, greater than everything else. Greater than you or I. Greater than Tobi and Kowe even. At which point we finally come to the introductory quote from Mike Tyson - but we don’t want to explain the fun of excess again. Take a look in the newspaper if you want to know how important it is. Or spend an evening with MOONBOOTICA.Their RA profile lists Moonbootique Recordings, Vendetta Records, Freakz Me Out, Katermukke and 2 more.Recently at Ritter Butzke · often with Domenic D'Agnelli, Chris Di Perri, Jil Tanner, none of them here that night

Driven by her love for electronic music, her own sound gets more and more arise. In her sets, she places particular emphasis on storytelling, with a lot of feelings and emotions. The interplay of dreamy melodies and driving sound invites you to float away together, completely carefree from head to heart and then straight to your feet. That's why she likes to describe her style as “dreamer techno”. Whether playing in clubs around the world such as Berghain/Panorama Bar and Watergate or Sisyphos and Ritter Butzke in Berlin, Hive Club Zurich, Baum in Bogotá and Glow Bangkok or producing his own tracks for respected labels like Upon. You Records, Smiley Fingers, Voltage Musique and Ballroom Records, Stiller’s technique is deep in character, an outward-reaching combination of techno and techhouse with his trademark funk-tinged basslines. Born in the sunny seaside town of Rostock, Germany, Gunnar Stiller found a change of scenery when his family moved to Berlin in the early 80s. Moving to such a beautifully chaotic, adventurous city was a key factor in shaping his musical perspective, and with the purchase of his well loved (and now worn out) turntables in the late 90s, he took his first step into a professional artistic career as DJ and producer. In 2003 while working as manager for Berlin-based event agency No Ufos, Gunnar found himself in the heart of a perfect playground to gain insight and develop his own style, which at the time was focused on deep house, breaks and electro. Inspired by those around him such as Steve Bug, Matthias Tanzmann and Martin Landsky, Stiller quickly began to carve out his own sound that impressed not just the dancers filling the floor but also any promoter and organizer who was paying attention. Pushing himself toward further success, he founded the artist alliance Edelmut in 2004 along with a few of his friends, an endeavor which quickly gained them notoriety as they played in the city’s top clubs like Watergate, Bar25 and later the infamous KaterHolzig , the latter of which invited Gunnar to become a resident DJ, a position he gladly accepted. On top of this, he became a regular player at the legendary HomeSweetHome sessions. His frequent and often lengthy sets (sometimes in excess of 10 hours) allowed him to explore the boundaries between (and beyond) techno and techhouse, creating a dramatic musical landscape that sets him apart from countless other DJs. By 2009 Stiller had formed a solid intuition for exactly what moved listeners’ bodies (and spirits) and began his foray into production. His debut release, the Heideberg EP, and its followup the Manaus Madness EP – both on Voltage Musique – landed directly within the Top 5 German club charts, and Marek Hemmann’s remix of “Manaus Madness” was voted the #10 best remix by dance music authority Groove Magazine’s 2010 readers’ poll. It was around this time that Gunnar joined Upon. You Records as part of their label and booking roster, releasing a lot more EPs and contributing to the acclaimed label compilation Upon. You Diary, which was compiled by himself in 2014. These where followed by collaborations and remix projects with artists like Solomun, AndHim, Layo & Bushwacka!, Alex Niggemann, Danny Serrano, Ray Okpara, Nikola Gala, Larry Cadge, Odd People, Samuel Dan, Nakadia, Dj Le Roi or Loko and more released tracks on labels like Clap Your Hands, Smiley Fingers and Time Has Changed. Meanwhile, Gunnar Stiller’s DJ career picked up exponentially as he established a name for himself outside his native Berlin borders. In the last few years, he has been booked to play at top festivals such as Sonar Festival, Amsterdam Dance Event, Melt! Festival, Fusion Festival and Sonnemondsterne, in clubs throughout Eastern and Western Europe as well as South America, Asia, Australia and Africa, sharing the booth with the likes of Richie Hawtin, Ricardo Villalobos, Carl Craig, Laurent Garnier and Luciano. Berlin based DJ and producer Jacob Dilssner aka Wankelmut ranks among the most popular and renowned representatives of electronic music “made in Germany”. Born and raised in East Germany, the 35-year-old made his breakthrough in 2012, when his remix for Asaf Avidans “One Day / Reckoning Song” soared to #1 in eight European countries, resulting in over three million records sold to date as well as a multitude of Gold and Platinum Awards. During 2012 he developed a close relationship with the esteemed Berlin label Get Physical Music, with whom Wankelmut started his own Mix-Compilation-Series „Wankelmoods” in fall of 2012, which have reached the third volume. His single “My Head Is A Jungle”, featuring Australian singer Emma Louise, made it to the Top 20 across Europe, peaking at #5 in the UK charts with Mark Kinchens (MK) remix in summer 2014. At the same time, Wankelmut started doing remixes and refined tracks by artists such as Dennis Lloyd, Gossip, Lenny Kravitz, Hozier, K.Flay or Flight Facilities. His artistic achievements are topped off by hundreds of DJ bookings per year, allowing him to present his take on electronic music based on House and Techno at clubs and festivals all over the world. During the last five years Wankelmut has collaborated with various vocalists like Björn Dixgard (singer of Mando Diao), Charlotte OC or MATTN and subsequently scored 2.6 Mio monthly listeners on Spotify to date. After his Summer festival season 2019 Wankelmut returned to his studio in Berlin to work on new music. In early 2020 his own imprint label WKLMT was launched with releases like the club smasher “Ayahuasca” and „Roll It“, which got lots of credible positive feedback. The last two years were filled with great productions and collaborations on labels like Universal / Virgin, Spinnin’ Records, Spinnin’ Deep, Toolroom, Defected, Perfect Havoc, Adue Music and LoudKult/Universal, never losing sight of his roots in club music. 2022 was kicked off by “Cross My Mind” a collaboration between NOON and Marie Bothmer on Kontor Records, followed by “Green Light”, another release on “Perfect Havoc”. In March he returned with a club music release on Mother Recordings, made a return to Spinnin’ Records in April and released a new single on his own label WKLMT in June. His brand new release “You and I” was released in July 2022 on Crash Your Sound. Wankelmuts widespread talent in writing and production even found a home within the synch/movie sector, where the produced the song “Outweigh Your Love” for the film “The Magic Flute” – truly showing his versatility . Right now one of Berlins most exciting DJs is about to pop out of the studio again with exciting News and many songs and collaborations in the pocket. Backed up by a new Management (PhilippWillmsManagement), international Booking Agency (Radius Agency) and Booking Partner for GSA (Book Kings) WANKELMUTs future is definitely something to be excited about.Their RA profile lists Defected Records, Get Physical Music and Poesie Musik.Last at Ritter Butzke in Feb · often with Sin:port, Nathalie Bellerose, Maze Kashi, none of them here that night
