Who they are
“Definitely not one of your usual DJ/producer suspects, Cologne’s Bryan Kessler making his first forays into music and aspiring to become a recognized poet, didn’t waste his time with pre-teen bedroom synthesis, mp3 collections or fan wallpaper – rather, he’d be on the poster himself, entering the spotlight at the tender age of twelve to front for his ragtag gang of musical misfits that would become known as The Pollywogs.”

Definitely not one of your usual DJ/producer suspects, Cologne’s Bryan Kessler making his first forays into music and aspiring to become a recognized poet, didn’t waste his time with pre-teen bedroom synthesis, mp3 collections or fan wallpaper – rather, he’d be on the poster himself, entering the spotlight at the tender age of twelve to front for his ragtag gang of musical misfits that would become known as The Pollywogs. Jumping off the deep end, Kessler quickly turned out to be a natural on stage as well as in the studio. From sculpting a vibrant guitar riff to landing it in front of a fired-up crowd, he was instrumental in shaping his band’s refreshing style, a gutsy mix of pop and pogo, irreverent bold attitude in lyrics and catchy melodic sensibilities spread across two full-length albums and multiple live tours through Germany. But a restless genius-in-the-making like Kessler’s wasn’t to be confined to the indie mosh pit, soon discovering the forbidden pleasures of club life and electronic dance music. He started curating his own DJ sets for sweaty dance floors – and also took his new-found passion to the mixing desk, where he’d churn out his first techno and house tracks, quickly locking in a unique blend of minimalistic, percussion-heavy dance beats, vocal loops and in-your-face songwriting. Highly idiosyncratic and fairly unpredictable, a Kessler jam is almost always a pretty kinetic affair, infusing the electronic flow with a well-needed dose of snotty punk rock and his slightly questionable behavior holding an SM57 in one hand and a drum stick in the other – a strategy that finds its most accomplished application on his on productions, that enables Kessler to take the conventional DJ set to a live escapade. Following energetic releases on underground labels such Coméme, Get Physical, and more recently Jackmaster’s Numbers imprint, Bryan Kessler’s releases including his "New Feel" series present a booty shaking, action-packed selection of slow motion mutant disco belters and riff-ready stadium synth tunes. Since 2018 Bryan Kessler gives out his new 60min DJmix show called 'Irrational Fiction' on Radio Cómeme which features punky guitar disco grooves mixed with selected spoken poetry from all over the globe. Alongside his residency at Club Gewölbe in and his club series ‘Do the taboo’ in Colognes Acephale, he is constantly on tour with places such as Copenhagen, Tel Aviv, Bali, Buenos Aires, Mexico, London or Paris as some of his regular stops. He single-handedly hosts street gigs by going out into the streets of Metropolises, performing in front of pedestrians and turning his show into a major party. When he’s not in the midst of performing, Bryan Kessler can be seen pasting poems to house walls or producing other artists, as he is not only known for being the producer of his own music but is also sought after for productions in a great variety of genres. Additional to his work as a producer, he loves collaborating with other creatives such as the DJ’s Pareja, Christian S, Mamacita as well as authors from Berlin. Out of the depth of his making, his tracks always make their way into the clubs and are regularly played by the likes of big ones like Dixon. Bryan Kessler has a distinct and consistent sound and a very evident artist personage, always wanting to provoke, hit a nerve and create something individual while simultaneously stepping up his game, reinventing himself, knowing no limits and still keeping a common theme.Their RA profile lists Get Physical Music, Innervisions, Cómeme, Pets Recordings and 6 more.often with Beste Hira, Hervé, Dresden, none of them here that night

Born and Raised in Berlin. With Austrian and Afro- American roots. At various Berlin Youth events he built a reputation with young creative individuals flocking his sets. Through early club impressions and a penchant for nostalgia, his sound has consolidated over time. Its eclectic selection surprises in genres where many seem to know there is nothing new. Many genres are served, from Acid House, Techno, Ballroom to East German Schranz. It's all in the mix. This is where its craving for rhythm lingers, staying consistently in tune no matter what the BPM.Recently at Chausseestrasse 131, OST, OXI · often with Dmitra, Dj handbag, bambinodj, none of them here that night

From Disco to Disco, from piano to electro & more: Eric D. Clark started his DJ career 30+ years ago. From Sunday church performances in California at the age of 10 as a classical & gospel piano prodigy to disco and electronica keyboard mastering, Eric trained his ears and hands until 1981 when he finally claimed his place behind turntables and took up residencies in Sacramento and San Francisco’s most famous clubs including; Vortex, Dancepark, 181, The Underground, Das Klub and The End Up. Six years later, Eric integrated the Parisian night life and played in an eclectic array of venues: galleries, straight and gay clubs, as well as early soul, break-beat, and jungle raves… By the early 90’s he started to regularly visit Germany on the look-out for new “underground” dance music. Soon his Whirlpool Productions trio (with Justus Köhncke & Hans Nieswandt) was born and took the European scene by storm, especially Italy, with hits such as The Cold Song and From Disco to Disco. Eric then began to explore other opportunities with solo releases including Fur Dancefloor on Ladomat and collaborated with numerous musicians including: Amanda Lear, Marla Glenn, Mandel Turner, Army of Lovers, Leo Garcia, Chicks on Speed, Gloria Gaynor, Giorgio Moroder, Mouse on Mars, Sex in Dallas, Angie Reed, Chaka Khan, Stereo Total, Juana Molina, Jesus di Ibiza, TLC… In 2007 Eric released E=dC² on Firm Recordings, and unexpectedly became a professor, teaching at The Stædel School for Visual Arts in Frankfurt alongside writing for Spex. 2014 marked Eric’s debut as a curator, as he set-up the exhibition "Vinyl never died" in Oslo’s Demons Mouth gallery. Eric D. Clark has played in Europe, South America and the USA in venues such as the Panoramabar (live) & Ostgut, Tresor, E-Werk, Maria, WeekEnd, along with current residencies at Paloma (“ALL Night!” & the “T”: a Sunday tea-dance), The Black Lodge, (“The Gist of Music” Thursdays), Suicide Circus (“encore une fois”), Kit Kat Club (“Electric Monday’s”), and Morphine Bar in Berlin, Cocoon in Frankfurt, La Scala in Paris, Pacha in Buenos Aires & Ibiza, the ICA in London, Celebretia in Milan, DNA Lounge & The End-Up in SF, at MELT, the Berlin & LA Gay Prides, several celebs events including Frieze Magazine launch, MTV Beach Party in Uruguay and Audiotool & Adobe events in LA, alongside holding residencies in a variety of clubs such as the Funky Chicken in Cologne. At the moment, Eric juggles DJ residencies in Germany and Croatia, managing his label Subcurrent, playing gigs around Europe and the USA, lending his vocal expertise and remixing score of dance tracks and designing EP covers. His newest releases include “Bored” with Stefan Braatz on Poker Flat Recordings (supported by Richie Hawtin, Ame, and Joris Voorn), “Daylight” with Mouse on Mars plus a few live shows including at the Elbe Philharmonie and MIchel Berger Festival, and remixes of “Walks” by Doc Martin and “Robot Love” by Chicks on Speed, among many more. Eric recently opened “UPSTAIRS at €RiX‘” in Berlin, a private gallery in his studio, he is also producing an E.D.C. column for Starship Magazine, and the introduction to the screening of Sun Ra’s “Space is the Place”. text by Nadia Says (Y.M.A.)Their RA profile lists Sony, Poker Flat Recordings, Ladomat 2000, Strictly Rhythm and 6 more.Recently at Chausseestrasse 131, Pas Berlin, Sameheads · often with Disco Gessner, DJ Auspre, Haider, none of them here that night

Franziska recorded her last vinyl set in 2009 before she went into a 10 years break of actively listening and playing electronic music. Today, she realises the good years were about to come shortly after, which might be the reason why she is musically in her 2010s nowadays. In 2024 she did her comeback as LINDHOUSE when she played her first Hör and became a resident for Royal Highness. Her style comprises a wide spectrum of deep mental techno ranging from 1994 to 2025. "Sound doesn’t really follow a timeline, it co-exists in a loop giving handshakes through curators called Djs."
