Member of the label and mixed genre/generation collective Friendsome, since 2018, the young and talented producer and DJ Belaria has risen through the ranks; at the end of 2021, Beatportal had already selected her in «one of the 10 artists at the head of the French underground revolution». Confirmed in 2022; she is one of the residents of Badaboum after having already played in Parisian institutions such as the Rex Club (with Laurent Garnier) or La Machine, and shared the stage with the legends Krystal Klear, MCDE, Laurent Garnier or Vitalic, especially during the Arte recording at La Gaité Lyrique; Stand WithUkraine by Jennifer Cardini, in which she plays in b2b with Pedro Winter. Her track « Morning Disco Tonic Bongo » won the “Producer Day” of the Chineurs de House, of which Belaria became the first female winner since its creation. This summer 2021 anthem will be followed by « Heartquake » released on the « DJs For Climate Action : Climate Soundtrack » compilation, then by a first EP « Boost & Doubts », released in June 2022 by Friendsome, assuming a unique style, while retaining her main inspirations: New Wave and Synth Pop.

“When you hear creeping high hats, hypnotic beats and a pop of acid, chances are you‘re hearing Britta Arnold from the console of her musical spaceship.”

    their own biography

    the whole biography
When you hear creeping high hats, hypnotic beats and a pop of acid, chances are you‘re hearing Britta Arnold from the console of her musical spaceship. Straightforward and distinctively poised, her unique blend of beats makes for a milkshake of cosmic potency. For this elegant fire red, her pledge to break norms and find the hottest music on the block has gained her quite the following and opened up a fantastic world of people, places and special moments. Since co-founding the Bar25 label in 2006, her nights are spent playing gigs anywhere between Asia, America and Europe, while many of her days are spent in the studio where she dreams up new music. She has released on Katermukke and Heinz, remixed tracks by ‘It boys’ Satori and Stavroz, and been remixed by the likes of Claude VonStroke and Ruede Hagelstein. Aside from this, her new musical project ‘Britta Unders’ with Amsterdam based Unders, is adding even more magic to her minutes. They are playing sets from sundown to sunrise together all over the world but also started a new label Happy Camper, this will be launched November 2017 with artists as Mira, Be Svendsen, dOP and Noraj Cue. When not doing these things, she’s probably planning her GRRR Mit BRRR party — a celebrated event at the Berlin club, Kater Blau. A born and bred Berliner who never had to learn how to be one, Britta reflects the city in which she still calls home: a little edgy, a little down to earth and always filled with artistic ambition. Having once lived in a caravan with her cat ‘katuscha’ on the grounds of the Bar25, she takes this Happy Camper vibe with her into every space she enters, whether the club, the festival, the studio or a walk through her home town. With the support from her global electronic family pushing her in the right direction and a naughty box of tunes on her back, the future of this lady from outer space only goes from strength to strength. So get your space suit on and go intergalactic roaming with your best friends and lovers. Do it to the hypnotic and wired sound of Britta Arnold.

“The Schumann resonances (SR) are a set of spectrum peaks in the extremely low frequency (ELF) portion of the Earth's electromagnetic field spectrum.”

    their own biography

    the whole biography
The Schumann resonances (SR) are a set of spectrum peaks in the extremely low frequency (ELF) portion of the Earth's electromagnetic field spectrum. Schumann resonances are global electromagnetic resonances, generated and excited by lightning discharges in the cavity formed by the Earth's surface and the ionosphere. Lightning discharges are considered to be the primary natural source of Schumann resonance excitation; lightning channels behave like huge antennas that radiate electromagnetic energy at frequencies below about 100 kHz. These signals are very weak at large distances from the lightning source, but the Earth–ionosphere waveguide behaves like a resonator at ELF frequencies and amplifies the spectral signals from lightning at the resonance frequencies. The real Earth–ionosphere waveguide is not a perfect electromagnetic resonant cavity. Losses due to finite ionosphere electrical conductivity lower the propagation speed of electromagnetic signals in the cavity, resulting in a resonance frequency that is lower than would be expected in an ideal case, and the observed peaks are wide. In addition, there are a number of horizontal asymmetries – day-night difference in the height of the ionosphere, latitudinal changes in the Earth's magnetic field, sudden ionospheric disturbances, polar cap absorption, variation in the Earth radius of ± 11 km from equator to geographic poles, etc. that produce other effects in the Schumann resonance power spectra.

    their own biography

    the whole biography
Sascha Cawa is a resident DJ at Kater Blau and an essential member of the Kater/Holzmarkt community in Berlin. He is highly respected as a DJ, producer, and an active member of the underground electronic music scene. Dedicated to his craft and passionate about music, Sascha stays true to the underground ethos that has shaped his career. Sascha's love for house and techno music started in the 1990s when he began DJing. His performances have taken him to almost every renowned club in Berlin, as well as countless other locations around the world and to prominent underground festivals and events such as Garbicz, Fusion Festival, ADE, or Mayan Warrior. In 2011, Sascha co-founded Katermukke with his close friend Dirty Doering, which quickly became one of the most influential imprints in the German electronic music scene. Although he left the label in 2015 to focus on his personal creative projects and interests, Sascha remains an active artist on the Katermukke roster, where he continues to push the boundaries of electronic music with his unique sound and vision. Sascha has created a loyal following with his deep, emotive sound and released acclaimed EPs and singles on Katermukke and other respected labels such as Kiosk I.D., URSL, Upon. You, and Klaus:elle, showcasing his signature blend of techno, house, and electronica. His tracks are jam-packed with deep melodies, thrilling rhythms, and richly textured soundscapes, taking listeners on an emotional journey through the full spectrum of electronic music. Beyond DJing, Sascha is proficient in producing, mixing, mastering, and coaching. He would describe himself as a nerd with a fascination for modular synthesizers, Drum Machines and a fetish for reverb plugins. In addition to supporting his friends and colleagues like renowned artists such as Britta Arnold, Dirty Doering, Nicone and many more, Sascha also helps customers from all over the world to bring their productions to a higher level.

““I’m a little bit of a perfectionist – this has turned out both good and bad for me.”

    their own biography

    the whole biography
“I’m a little bit of a perfectionist – this has turned out both good and bad for me. Sometimes, I can get lost in the details. When it feels like it’s in my power to make a production better, I get the urge to do whatever it takes. And take as long as is needed. I want to make it top quality.” With regular appearances in a many of legendary Berlin locales, from Club der Visionaere, which would eventually host his marathon Meltdown nights, regular appearances at Sisyphos and Kater Blau, to spots at Tresor, Panorama Bar, and the late, beloved Bar25, the Colombian DJ and producer DAVID DELGADO has confidently established himself in the upper level of the German capital’s underground firmament. Boasting a sound both dark and complicated, Delgado’s work flaunts an elasticity which separates from his contemporaries, emphasizing expertly manipulated “jazzy” drum samples behind minor-key washes and ambient chatter. Benefitting from his time as an assistant engineer in London’s top recording studios, he has worked alongside producers such as Chris Potter, Simon Duffy, Max Hayes and Adrian Hall. This interest in the details of sound dates back to his earliest musical fandom. “I was in my grandmother’s place — I must have been about seven — and my older cousin, who I really looked up to, came up to me with a copy of Michael Jackson’s Bad and said, ‘Hey, listen to this.’ I was immediately blown away, the way the music is so funky and tight, tech-y and percussive. It’s magical. His influence on my music is always present.” From Jackson, it was onto hip-hop — which wasn’t easy to track down, in Bogota back in the 90's. Then funk music and jazz, pervasive influences to this day. “I’m a big Miles Davis fan. And I’m a huge fan of Buddy Rich, whom I discovered digging in second hand stores after I followed a high-school girlfriend to New York. I would go to all the clubs with a fake I.D. I knew I could do what the DJ’s were doing, so I decided to spend all my savings on a couple of turntables and a few records. I started digging the house sound — Timo Maas’ remix of Azzido Da Bass’ Dooms Night would make me crazy, as well as Erick Morillo’s early Subliminal Records sound. I haven’t stopped since.” He made it to Manchester, then London (and further), developing his touch. Delgado also found he was being greeted with increasing enthusiasm in Berlin. A last-minute cancellation by DJ T at Club der Visionaere led to the offer of a two-hour slot at the club. He flew in. It was euphoric, never-ending, stretching from 4am until afternoon. By the end of the night, the club had adopted him, and he would soon adopt Berlin, offered a regular night -- Meltdown -- at Club der Visionaere. Soon he would be recording for Tom Clark’s lauded Highgrade label, as well as joining their booking agency. These days, Delgado is producing and remixing a lot, often with his friends and contemporaries Mihai Popoviciu and Argenis Brito, amongst others. As for his releases, he takes his time to perfect them until the music meets his standards. The newer work is dryer, more minimal, its jazziness increasingly improvisational, with artfully manipulated chords, and baselines often sampled from rare jazz records punctuated by the swell of mysterious orchestra stabs. The mood is suspended, an off-kilter swamp-like haze. His musical versatility and impeccable mixing skills, the flow of the classic and the new, allow him a canny adaptability, from a spacey early afternoon set at Club der Visionaere to the peak of Panorama Bar closing set. What’s next? His own label, Live shows and more musical expansion. “Why do I make music? The truth is, it’s not entirely obvious to me. But throughout my life music is the one thing that has never lost my attention.”
Their RA profile lists Sender Records, Metroline Limited, Highgrade Records, Siteholder Uncut and 6 more.

    the whole biography
Born in East Germany to a renowned photographer and a classical musician, she began DJing in 1996 and quickly rose to prominence as part of the growing underground techno scene around Leipzig and Halle/Saale. Her dedication to her craft and natural talent swiftly paid off, leading her to substantially shape the electronic music scene of Eastern Germany from that point on. In 2006, Mira moved to Berlin, Europe’s capital of electronic music, where she found her musical home at the legendary Bar25 and, later, Kater Blau. It was here that Mira rose to fame throughout Europe and the world, becoming a defining representative of a distinctive sound that was going global. Deep and soulful while always maintaining a continuous, sensual groove, Mira’s sprawling, hypnotic sets became the soundtrack for many an endless night. The centerpiece of Mira’s residencies at these clubs has been her yearly birthday event, ‘Katzen Tanzen auf’m Tisch,’ which runs for three days straight every December in Berlin. Curated by Mira from a selection of old friends and new faces, the series has hosted a multitude of then-unknown artists who have since gone on to tour the globe. Alongside these legendary parties, she also hosts the regular ‘Mira invites’ events, where she invites a refined selection of artists to provide the soundtrack to those long Berlin nights. Recently, Mira has been using her careful ear for talent as label curator for the Kiosk I.D. imprint, a relatively new project that perfectly complements her already-established reputation as a vital progenitor of the scene. Sifting through hundreds of demos by new and unknown artists every month, the label has become a central part of her creative practice in recent years as she seeks to push and encourage the upcoming generation of producers. In the studio, Mira often collaborates with her partner-in-crime Christopher Schwarzwälder, and the two have released a host of chart-topping singles. This partnership has since carried over to dancefloors globally, where their legendary back-to-back sets create a perfect musical dialogue between two artists who share a deep understanding and love of sound. Mira has been at the height of her game for the past twenty years, continuously shaping the sounds around her and never ceasing to push and inspire new artists. As happy playing in a small underground club in East Germany in the ’90s as she is playing to thousands of festival-goers at some of today’s biggest festivals, Mira is truly one of those artists who can be said to do it for the love of the music. Every time a new track by an undiscovered producer falls into her lap, it’s a new moment for her to fall in love with her craft all over again—and to share that love with the tens of thousands who hear her play.

    their own biography

    the whole biography
As a producer, musician, DJ and serial collaborator, Chris Schwarzwälders distinctive style of deep, restrained house is hard to pin down, but you’ll always know it’s him when you hear it. Born in Frankfurt am Main in the 80s, he started playing hiphop in the 90s. While making beats on his MPC2000, he dropped into Offenbach’s Robert Johnson club and fell in love with techno. In 2009, Chris moved to Berlin and started DJing at KaterHolzig, where he found a group of people who thought about music in the same way he did. In contrast to the trends of the late 00s, the sounds being made from this little paradise on Berlin’s river Spree were slower, softer, and more soulful than a lot of what was being played in clubs at the time. It was here that Chris began to cement his reputation as both a solo producer and collaborator, who was capable of bringing his trademark sounds to a whole number of side-projects - many of which have gone on to play to crowds around the globe. He joined the Feathered Sun collective in 2013, together with a group of friends including Acid Pauli, Nu, Jo.Ke and Raz O’Hara. Dreamy, groovy and often improvised, the collective represented a special kind of musical freedom in which a group of producers came together to create something new in a singular, live moment. At the same time, Chris’ friend Mira was making moves of her own, and they started to play back-to-back sets, soundtracking the legendary Monday mornings of KaterHolzig, and now, Kater Blau. The two, who are both residents at Kater Blau, have now been playing together internationally for almost a decade, and have formed a common musical understanding that translates throughout every one of their sets - deep, clubby and melancholic. This partnership has also carried on into the studio, where they have collaborated on numerous hits. His most light-hearted side comes out in collaboration with Iannis Ritter, where the two musicians take on a weirder, more melodic & electro approach than Chris’ other proejcts. If you were to ask him, Chris would describe himself as reserved, logical, rational, melancholic and humorous. Which is why you’d never hear him telling you about the hundreds of nightclubs and festivals he’s played around the globe, or the number of hits he’s had with his productions. If you’re lucky though, Chris might tell you about his favourite synthesizers, and get lost in a conversation all about electronics and sound. Which is exactly where Chris wants to be - lost in electronics and sound.

“Dance, dance otherwise we are lost” the larger than life modern dance choreographer and ballet director Pina Bausch once said. The Cologne based DJ and producer Esther Silex deeply believes in those words of wisdom and took the statement as one of many inspirations behind her debut EP “Pachamama” for Sweden’s finest free spirited electronic music label Studio Barnhus. The EP title refers to the old mother earth goddess of the indigenous people of the Andes, who is an independent deity that has her own creative power to sustain life on planet earth. For Silex she is a divineness that follows her on each and every step as a female with groove in her heart. After a nomadic upbringing all around Europe she started to play records at the tender age of 17 and quickly became an integral part of Cologne’s house and techno scene. Her sets are anything but predictable, with an eclectic selection that somehow weaves seamlessly through techno and house to soul, funk, afro and disco. The three tracks named ‘Hans’, ‘Heinrich’ and ‘Oskar’ of her debut release, reflect this musical diversity and don’t adhere to any formula, whilst remaining entirely and explosively dance floor friendly.
