Agnese Menguzzato is an Italian composer and musician based in Berlin. With a background in violin and Renaissance lute, she leans into historical and contemporary technologies, carrying them into one entity. Through this interaction, her music becomes an aria dedicated to the atemporality of sound and human gestures. Her debut solo EP Scusa, released by the Berlin imprint Verlag, has been described as “an ode to gentleness.” Menguzzato’s language comes from the crystallized imagery of her childhood and her quiet gaze towards the rural and the celestial. Growing up amidst the Italian Alps and Apennines, she makes music that feels like a tactile reverie—at once skin-close and vast. Her live performances have been presented in venues and festivals such as silent green Kulturquartier, Volksbühne am Rosa Luxembourg Platz, Norberg festival, Cripta747 and Biennale Musica 2025, La Stella Dentro in Venice. Agnese Menguzzato has collaborated with artists like William Basinski, Sara Persico, Paula Ďurinová and Soho Rezanejad. She is a founder of the Spydergum ensemble and part of the period music collective, which body of work is released via Other People. fisk is a genre-fluid DJ, promoter, sound engineer and artist navigating club, experimental and bass music for almost a decade. Working with self-recorded samples, she chops, processes and re-samples her material into textured, low-end-driven constructions. Since making music for self indulgence, it has restored pleasure and weirdness to her work. fisk’s practice moves between exhibition and stage, merging activism and artistic expression, rooted in the DIY. As a DJ she plays a variety or music styes, weaving them into her distinctive approach to club and bass music. fisk has also been curating concerts and club nights in Berlin, championing eclectic and forward-thinking sounds, while battling the ever growing commercialisation of underground and organically grown culture and communities. - perfection is fake - rhythm is life - Part of AL.Berlin crew, a collective showcasing interdisciplinary events with live music, DJs and artists, with focus on contemporary music of West Asia & North Africa.
