Larhythmix began by layering beats under looped guitar phrases. After discarding early SoundCloud releases and refining the project’s direction, a debut EP called Faith was released in 2013. Initially based in Bristol, the project drew from the city’s trip-hop lineage before evolving toward a heavier, bass-led sound incorporating elements of trap, drum & bass and wider electronic influences. A steady run of self-releases followed, alongside label appearances on Beatsupply, Equal Eyes Records, SVNSET WAVES, Batik Records and Jumpsuit Records.
