Marcel Fengler: A Visionary of Modern Techno Marcel Fengler has been quoted as “one of the finest techno DJs” (Resident Advisor), earning international recognition for his “well-crafted body of production work” (FACT) and the unique, “multi-faceted personality” (Electronic Beats) he brings to his craft. For almost three decades, Fengler has developed a versatile and dynamic DJing style, making him one of the first resident DJs at Berlin’s legendary Berghain / Panorama Bar in 2005. Known for his ability to shift pace, atmosphere, and energy in response to the dance floor, he seamlessly moves between industrial-drenched hardness, broken beats, gloomy dubs, and melodic grooves. His early releases on Ostgut Ton and Mote Evolver paved the way for his debut album, Fokus (2013), a statement of intent filled with emotional depth and unexpected contrasts. These influences manifest themselves in further own projects, which he combined in 2018 under his other artist profile AZUR. In 2011, Fengler launched his imprint, Index Marcel Fengler (IMF), a label dedicated to his timeless techno vision while serving as a platform for emerging talent. This philosophy took on new dimensions in 2024 with the launch of ‚KISHIKAN’, an event series combining elements of his ‘IMF label showcases’, ‘Marcel Fengler Invites’ events and the newly established HARDPROOF VA project. With KISHIKAN, Fengler contiznues to push boundaries, creating a fresh space for artistic innovation and musical exploration. As a DJ and producer, Marcel Fengler stands for imposing surprises and the appeal of variety. For him, techno is both unconditional passion as well as an essential part of his identity. He’s not bound to a linear or one-dimensional sound, instead, he’s constantly seeking for new ways to express his emotional storytelling skills. His willingness to challenge himself and to stay curious, while establishing changes as his secret persistence, is showing his true vision of techno which makes Marcel Fengler to one of the today’s most exciting electronic artists in these days.Their RA profile lists Ostgut Ton, Coincidence Records, Mote-Evolver, IMF and 4 more.Recently at Tresor / Globus, OXI · often with Skungal, Viscerale, TRESOR, none of them here that night

Starting her solo career in 2021, Lucia Lu explored genre-fluid DJ sets as a process of searching — tracing her musical roots between the African diaspora and the German club scene, moving through house and techno without fixed boundaries. In 2025, this exploration crystallized into a clear artistic shift. Leaving genre fluidity behind, she now dedicates herself fully to techno, drawing inspiration from the pioneering spirit of Detroit while translating it into a contemporary, driving club language. Her sets are focused, hypnotic and intentional — rooted in history, built for the floor.Recently at OST, M01, Spartacus Potsdam · often with ZAKARE, Lars Huismann, LUISELLE, none of them here that night
