Originating from Italy and Indonesia, Tempestfeather is a music selector, writer, events curator, and radio host based in Berlin. Since stepping onto the scene in 2022, she has become a fixture in the underground circuit, recognized for her forward-thinking, groovy, and refined selections. She has performed at standout events like Tresor's New Faces and Mother’s Finest at OXI, and clubs including OHM, Gretchen, and Fitzroy; and played on radio stations including Refuge Worldwide, Noods, Balamii, and Canino FM. As a core member of Green Room—a bass-focused collective and event series with a UK slant—she’s also carved out a vital role within Berlin’s underground music community. Holding a monthly residency at Berlin listening bar YSY, she curates SWIRL — a space to explore her eclectic music crate and welcome artists who resonate with its adventurous spirit. Tempestfeather’s idiosyncratic sound was conceived in Cairo, shaped in London, and refined in Berlin. Channeling her background as a third-culture kid, writer, and poet, her dynamic DJ sets unfold like stories—fluid, layered, and emotionally resonant. A dedicated digger and sonic explorer, she expertly weaves everything from bass, dubstep, electro, breaks, and drum’n bass, through to house, driving techno, UKG, and experimental textures, refusing to settle into any single mould. Berlin-based DJ and curator focused on deep dubstep, footwork, halftime, atmospheric jungle and D&B. Her background in bass music goes back to Naples, with Campania Bass Movement and the Italy-wide promoter project Bass Move. Between 2019 and 2025, she ran Grimelist in Berlin, a weekly Instagram guide mapping out the city’s bass events. Raised on underground hip-hop, nu-metal, R&B and soul, she spent years working behind the scenes and singing before getting behind the decks.
