Chris Liebing is on the creative hot streak of his life. It’s now 30 years since his rocket ride through the dancefloors of global techno begun – but the current phase encapsulated on the 2026 Evolver album pulls together all the reasons he always loved what he does, all the things he’s learned, and a new-found confidence born of deep introspection, and channels it all into focusing and intensifying his DJ and production superpowers. The exact same energy he threw into his early residencies at the foundational techno temples Omen (Frankfurt) and Tresor (Berlin) is there, but enhanced with all technological advances and study of what moves ravers worldwide, it feels as vivid and important as ever. Chris grew up in a small town outside Frankfurt. As a boy he was always uncertain of himself yet was compelled to focus on what interested him. He pursued playing tennis to a very high level and felt that might be his path – but absolute obsession with music compelled him even more. From listening alone and deeply at home, through pause button cassette DJing at teenage parties, to a residency at a commercial club on the fringe of Frankfurt with rickety decks balanced on the bar, his desire to be surrounded by the sounds he loved, and also to work out the techniques that could draw others into what he was hearing and keep them locked in to it. A job at Sven Väth’s Eye-Q label led to a fortuitous chance in late 1995 to fill in for a last minute drop out in The Omen – which he smashed so convincingly he quickly became a big local name. His break at Tresor came in almost identical circumstances, and from then on he has been a watchword for the most fundamental, sweat-drenched, joyously powerful European techno which he has taken to dark cellars and vast festivals the world over. His productions, labels and radio / podcast work have likewise kept the faith for the pure, energetic forms of techno whatever trends have risen and fallen. There’ve been diversions into brooding experimentalism for the legendary Mute Records, but always that deep and powerful original pulse has been there, not least via his hugely influential CLR label – and now it’s stronger and more vividly present than ever.Their RA profile lists Ovum Recordings, Mute Records, novamute, Rekids and 6 more.Last at RSO.BERLIN in Feb · often with Truncate, SUMME, ROBUS, none of them here that night

Hailing from the deep swamplands of Southeast Finland, it’s no surprise Annina’s exposure to electronic music was found while traveling elsewhere - in fact, it was becoming involved in the Sydney scene which spawned her love for dance music, and ultimately inspired her move to Berlin in 2018. It was there she became focused on her groovy but upfront sound and met like-minded music heads eventually co-founding the minimal collective Zapped Berlin in 2021. Aside from DJing around Europe for respected venues such as Hoppetosse in Berlin and Culture Box in Denmark her work as a producer has been well-received and she is now focused in the studio on pushing her sound to the next level amongst a few other yet-to-be-revealed projects.Their RA profile lists Zapped Records.Recently at Kater, Hoppetosse, Ritter Butzke · often with Jonaku (DE), Ujin, Cyko, none of them here that night

Raised in San Francisco and based in Berlin, the DJ, producer and composer is known for her deep and atmospheric sound that pulls from the niche recesses of techno. Originally trained as a classical cellist, Chloe left the conservatory at 18 when she discovered electronic music, moving to Berlin shortly thereafter to immerse herself in the city’s burgeoning techno scene. The confluence of these worlds has forged her textural approach to techno and inspired her to return to her instrument. Today, she uses the cello to write full-length ambient, electroacoustic live shows as well as deconstructed tones and timbres that help form the unique character of her releases for the dance floor. Chloe is a resident DJ at Tresor and has played widely across Asia, Europe, and North and South America, becoming known for driving and hypnotic sets that dig deep into the niche recesses of techno. She has releases on Tresor, Mord, Blueprint and Falling Ethics alongside Oscar Mulero. Her debut instrumental full-length came out on James Ginzburg’s Subtext label in November 2024, which she currently tours as an AV show, Oneiris. Beyond the studio, Chloe curates, hosts and produces interviews for Resident Advisor, and programs the publication’s talk programming and workshops at festivals like Atonal, Nuits Sonores, Dekmantel, Unsound, Rewire and many more.Their RA profile lists Tresor, Blueprint Records, Mord and Falling Ethics.Recently at Tresor / Globus, Berghain, Radialsystem · often with TRESOR, GLOBUS, Ireen Amnes, none of them here that night

“For a while, he has been using different types of percussion elements.”

For a while, he has been using different types of percussion elements. The result is an enjoyable rhythm, which communicates with its audience in a very particular way. In a playful approach, he creates an incredible repertoire of feelings that reproduces within the crowd. Mathias’ various sets include the following sound features: funky, freaky, dashing, dub, slamming, enriched by African and South American percussions. Inspired and motivated by the first House & Techno DJs at Bioxultra in Gera he got his first turntables at the age of 14. One could argue it is necessary to live wherever the sound rises at a particular time. However, Mathias draws on his own strengths. Away from sated urban in- and output, he has always maintained the objectivity for his music. For 7 years, he has been the resident DJ of the well-known club Muna. He is not only DJing there, but he also supports talented folks within the Freshblood project. Additionally, he is jointly responsible for the Klanglauf events at Kassablanca in Jena, as a DJ and organizer. Together with Marek Hemman, Mathias released 4 EPs on the label Freude am Tanzen and 4 own EPs on Vakant. Amongst others, he also did remixes for Matthias Tanzmann, Onur Özer, Dapayk, Anja Schneider, Daniel Stefanik and Trentemöller. DJing and, later on, the production of electronic music have been his occupation since 1996. With his style of work, Mathias joins those, who refuse to produce and release music excessively. Thus, the necessity to make records that will remain long lasting is one of the guiding motifs of his profession.Their RA profile lists Vakant, Cargo Edition, Freude Am Tanzen, Lebensfreude Records and 6 more.Recently at Kater, Berghain · often with HOPPER, ACID BOGEN, EXTRA, none of them here that night
