Marcel Heese’s take on Techno is a blend of relentlessness and sublety, using sound design and precise aesthetics, he walks that leftfield path that opens techno out beyond its confines. Part of the Tresor.Berlin resident team since 2008, Marcel is a DJ who disregards expectations for floorfillers. This stems from an independent minded view on DJing that saw him through a time when hard, ambitious Techno was in the state of an outlaw. During the Minimal-legacy of the early 2000s he began buying records, inspired by a Tresor DJ-set from Surgeon. Bit by bit he collected his heroes’ records, drawing from them to his own emerging yet diverse aesthetic sensibility. Labels and artists such as Underground Resistance, Downwards, early Warp Records, Basic Channel, Plastikman, Sähkö, Planetary Assault Systems, proto-Techno á la Throbbing Gristle & Nitzer Ebb, Whitehouse and Italo-Disco filled his record shelf. He frequented Tresor, seeing it as a place to observe what techno could do. He was appointed to the resident team after a gig at “new faces”. Marcel subsequently began hosting “new faces” himself while cultivating his DJing approach in one of Germany’s best booths. Focusing on sublety and depth, he developed a style that could meander seamlessly through styles, affording him the ability to play every time of the night and keep up even with the most selectors on the planet. His pursuits in the scene have moved further with the beginning of his label Finitude Music in 2014. Thus far the young imprint has released four records; two of Marcels mutual project with Berlin DJ and producer P.E.A.R.L. called PMH, and two in collaboration with German mastermind Alexander Kowalski aka d_func.. Catem is a Berlin-based producer, DJ and label founder. Two decades behind the decks have built a physical understanding of rhythm, timing and instinct. His vinyl-only sets move through classic house and minimal techno. Warm, repetitive groove built for the floor. In the studio he works with synthesisers, samplers and analogue hardware, recording live sessions where improvisation shapes the structure. His live set runs on two sampler units loaded with years of studio recordings, mixed in real time, reading the room with a DJ approach. In 2025 he launched Catem Records, a vinyl label. Fac3less’s artistic foundation was shaped through years spent on the dancefloor before translating that experience into DJ sets and productions. Originally from Athens and now based in Berlin, his sound draws from the deeper spectrum of techno with subtle psychedelic influences. Moving through hypnotic structures, atmospheric layers, and intricate percussion, his vinyl-only sets unfold as intentional, evolving journeys designed to create space for stillness. Exploring the relationship between rhythm, space, and movement, Fac3less’s approach is shaped by a background deeply rooted in club culture and radio. His productions have found a home on labels including Diffuse Reality, Orbit Berlin, PostDynamic, R[3]volution, and Muted. With a significant roster of releases and remixes under his belt, Florian is proof that quantity doesn’t have to sacrifice quality. Based out of East Germany, he’s been DJing and producing since the late 90s. His sound is something otherworldly – a style that transcends genres, at times pulling in house, breaks, techno, and deep references that continually keep his listeners guessing. Florian is the man behind the Label Park Recordings , Charmin Records and Too Rough For Radio . Raw Image, the live techno duo from Leo Wieber and Cameron Hoy (Keanu Raves), have been collaborating together since meeting through a summer internship at Berlin-based music production school 343 Labs in 2025. The pair quickly bonded over a shared appreciation for Tresor Records and hardware focused techno production which inspired them to begin regular improvised jam sessions together. Through these sessions, the duo discovered a natural affinity for playing together with minimal communication, instead responding intuitively to each other’s musical ideas.
