Blazing through clubs across Europe — and earlier this year, North America as well — Caniche is fast becoming a defining force in contemporary Hardgroove Techno. Her sets blend percussive textures with rap-infused vocals. Funk-heavy rhythms meet tribal elements — all grounded in old-school drums. But her signature style doesn’t stop at the booth: As a producer, Caniche channels that same driving energy into her tracks, released on renowned labels such as RAW, GRÜV, Twice Infinity, and soon, BCCO. Her debut EP, released in 2024, featured remixes by ISAIAH and CULT — adding further weight to her growing discography. On stage, she’s known for igniting floors at Berlin institutions like Tresor and RSO, while also making waves at standout clubs across Europe, including Kalt (Strasbourg), Mondo Disko (Madrid), and Grelle Forelle (Vienna). Daria Kolosova’s 14 years of experience as a DJ, combined with her deep passion for electronic music, have shaped her into a remarkably versatile and proficient artist. Daria was born in the small town of Lutugino in eastern Ukraine. Her love for music was instilled by her father and her devotion to electronic music began at the age of 9 when she first heard “Diesel Power” by The Prodigy. Her passion for music deepened when her mother sent her to music school, where she studied piano. Yet being drawn to DJing from an early age, Daria embraced her vocation which led to her first performance in February 2010. Following this debut, she continued to actively perform in clubs across Lugansk and other cities while also organizing her own parties. After being inspired by Kyiv electronic scene and absorbing the vastness of electronic music genres, Daria honed her taste and recolated to Kyiv. There, she became a resident DJ at Keller, performing under the alias Dar:k and co-launched the party series Materia UA. After actively being involved in the electronic music scene for some time, Daria started to use her own name, leaving her Dar:k moniker aside as an experimental project. She began headlining most of Kyiv’s underground nightclubs like K41, Closer, Otel and began expanding her reach internationally, performing outside of Ukraine and securing her place on the global stage, with bookings at high-profile events and venues across Europe and beyond. Currently, Daria is one of the most actively growing names in the techno scene. She has played some of the world’s most renowned institutions, with frequent bookings at Berghain, Bassiani, Fabric, London’s Fold and festivals like Tomorrowland, Junction 2, Awakenings, Time Warp and played at Amnesia, Hi and DC10 in her first Ibiza season. As a DJ, Daria never aims to deliver what is expected of her, but rather tries to convey her personal narratives through music. Daria views music as the most genuine method of communication, empathy and unity - a tool that helps her transform her distinctive energy into a story that can be shared with people on the dance floor. Berlin-based producer and DJ Lars Huismann began his techno journey in 2011, though his musical roots run deeper — a trained drummer from the age of eleven, he moved through jazz, fusion and progressive metal before translating that rhythmic instinct into electronic production. That percussive foundation still defines his work. In 2015 he founded his own label, LHR, releasing raw, warehouse-leaning techno with a release party at Berlin's Tresor. Over the following years his sound sharpened across EPs for Soma — Slam's long-running Glasgow institution — where "Infinite Dimension" (2019) and "Embraced By Shadows" (2020) established him as a producer of hard-hitting, futuristic techno. His signature crystallized on Mutual Rytm, where the three-part "Sounds From The Past" series (2022–2023) marked the point at which Huismann found the aesthetic he'd been reaching for: early-2000s techno rebuilt through tape recording, hardware filtering and sampling, filtered through his own perspective rather than mere revival. "Catharsis" (2024) pushed that language into harder, darker territory without surrendering its depth. On the "Mechanized" EP (Monnom Black, 2024) — his debut for Dax J's label — Huismann moves fully into dub and tribal techno, treating it as a hinge between the genre's strands and its darker edges. While hardgroove has dominated recent attention, his aim isn't to join that current; drawing instead on the deeper roots of tribal rhythm, a return to the drumming that shaped him. Familiar frameworks become cover for new ideas: "Dominion" buries filtered echoes in its groove, "Orbital" turns a resonant synth line into something hypnotic and strange. The result reads as classic on the surface and unfamiliar underneath. Originally from Antwerp and since the past 6 years based in Berlin she delivers the rough sound of Germany's capital, not coming short on groovy and Detroitesque tracks, STEYA packs a serious punch. It was the elder one of the brothers, Dario, who first found his way into Munich’s flourishing scene of electronic dance music during the late nineties. He was a huge fan of Hip Hop and Dub when he stumbled into the neon lights of the omnipresent Goa parties that got staged in many clubs. His first set of turntables was a gift from his parents at the age of fifteen and he quickly found himself at the other side of the dance floor. In 2006 his younger brother Marco, who also was an enthusiastic supporter of Hip Hop and Reggae music – apart from being quite a talented skateboarder -, went to see Dario perform and fell in love with the unique vibe of Techno and House parties. This night was a crucial turning point in any sense. It was only a question of time when these two artists and brothers would canalise their creativity and start to work together. In 2007 they founded the label Ilian Tape with some long lasting friends, in order to establish a platform for their own productions, and in 2012 they started playing their notorious B2B sets. Rooted in the legacy of Detroit and Techno, House, Dub, Rap Music and Breakbeats, the two brothers managed to define their own trademark sound over the years with their own productions, and their own way of running a label by building a fundament with patience. Besides focusing on Ilian Tape they have released records on such notable labels as Tresor or 50 Weapons. In 2015 they released their first album called Immersion, which was the next natural step and heart project after they moved their two bedroom studios together in 2013. In 2020 their second album “Cosmic Transmission” was released and Marco’s first solo album “Channel Balance” came out in 2022. In the same year Dario & Marco, in close cooperation with Klaus Arnold, launched Tangible Air, a mastering & mixing studio. Since 2020 all records on Ilian Tape were mastered by them.
