Who they are
“Spekki Webu was born into contrast, half Afro-American, half German, raised in the Netherlands and shaped by a history of black music.”
their own biography
the whole biography
Spekki Webu was born into contrast, half Afro-American, half German, raised in the Netherlands and shaped by a history of black music. Long before he became the artist he is today, he was already listening deeply. Exploring scenes. Observing people. Absorbing stories. What started as curiosity turned into devotion, not to genres, but to a psychedelic stream of sound that refuses to be boxed. Moving through the formative underground of hardcore and freeparty culture, Spekki embraced experimentation from an early age. Making music and playing records were never career moves, but natural extensions of his lifelong observation practice. He didn’t chase styles; he time-traveled through them. Carrying forward what mattered, leaving behind what didn’t. Music became a lifestyle. Freedom became method. Both on and off stage, Spekki is known for his explosive energy and direct presence, yet beneath it lives a profound sensitivity for community and spirituality. Through his Mirror Zone label, he welcomes talented outliers into a space where differences can exist and sound has many colors. As he often states, “Mirror Zone is a mirror of life,” reflecting the introspective vision behind his label and audiovisual projects such as Signal Transmutations. Today, Spekki operates at the forefront of the global electronic music scene while remaining grounded in the same values that shaped him decades ago: autonomy and creative freedom. “Don’t let yourself be fooled into thinking you belong in one place. Stay open-minded.” Like a reptile shedding its skin, his transformative craft is an open invitation to step into ever-evolving states of sound.Their RA profile lists Blue Hour, MIRROR ZONE, Amniote, positivesource and 4 more.Recently at Funkhaus Berlin, RSO.BERLIN, Backsteinboot · often with Ellen Allien, Carmen Electro, Xiorro, none of them here that night

As „Special Guest TBA“ the whole story started for Lilian Stark at Duckwater Headquarter, Berlin, where he was resident DJ now since 2014. His strong passion for music he arranges in lovingly selected vinyl sets and shares them with other connaisseurs. While his first steps where most propably to be found on the dancefloors, he quickly took the right turn on the mixer too. He improved his skills most delightingly attentive watching his fellow DJs such as Josephine Wedekind, CanDjane and many more artists. Therefore, today he combines his excellent sense for driving grooves and curiousity for the unexpected in his unique compositions...Last at Funkhaus Berlin in May

their own biography
the whole biography
In 2012 she became a member of the Schiffbruch event crew whose ethos is great music and harmonic energy. Josephine soon became a regular on Berlin’s club and underground scene, frequently playing her trippy style of music at some of the most influential locations including Mensch Meier, Rummels Bucht & Sisyphos. Her talent for constructing story-like sets & special taste in music has taken her to many amazing gatherings & events around the world including Fusion (GER), Plötzlich am Meer (PL), Doof Festival & Klika of Happiness (ISR), Lost Theory & Mo:Dem Festival (HR). After 10 years spinning as Josephine Wedekind she started Ayjo as a platform to express a more downtempo, psychedelic & experimental sound. This freestyle approach became an inspiration for xXƎTEXx & so in October 2015, in collaboration with Golan aka Bayawaka & Lilian Stark, the 1st xXƎTEXx event took place in Berlin. The idea being that ‘Music is without borders, unlimited by genre, it’s simply a representation of taste’.Recently at Funkhaus Berlin, Sisyphos, Hoppetosse · often with FRY VISUALS, DANIEL HAASNOOT, none of them here that night
