Having garnered a rich musical education through working at and holding a DJ residency for one of the UK's most respected record shops, Eastern Bloc, Kerrie's in-depth knowledge and unwavering dedication to music shines through her notable back catalogue and bolshy, unforgiving DJ and Live sets. Honing her craft for over a decade, Kerrie achieved a milestone at the start of 2024 when Tresor announced her as a resident DJ. Playing several shows (both live and DJ sets) at the Berlin-based space, Kerrie also represents the seminal club at showcases worldwide. Celebrated venues like Berghain, fabric, FOLD, Elsewhere NYC, and festival bookings at Freedom Medellin, Freerotation, Drift, Basilar and many more have shaped her schedule along the way. First learning to mix via her brother's turntables in the early 2000s, it wasn't until 2009 that Kerrie invested in her own set-up and built an extensive record collection, covering everything from ambient, electronic, house, EBM, acid, electro, and her go-to genre, techno. Kerrie delivers tough moods from the turntables, as conveyed in her mixes for Reclaim Your City, Bassiani, SLAM and Crack, where she carefully blended high-energy styles of UK, Detroit, and European techno, many of which stem from the 90s and the 00s. It's frequent to hear Kerrie weave broken elements into her mixes too, chopping up the 4/4 groove at just the right moment to keep things propulsive. Kerrie's Live sets are renowned for their trippy motifs and high impact on the dancefloor; her set from Freerotation in 2019 was one of the festival's most talked-about debuts. Following well-received releases on labels such as Don't Be Afraid, Cultivated Electronics, I Love Acid and Symbolism, Kerrie launched her imprint Dark Machine Funk [DMF] in 2020. The label homes her distinctly raw aesthetic and honours her love for dark, gritty, metallic and industrial sounds melded with elements of funk, heavily influenced by second-wave Detroit artists, UK techno and music by some of her favourite artists: James Ruskin, Blawan and Surgeon. Kerrie's first release on DMF, "Inner Space PT1", was praised by Resident Advisor, who credited her ability to make "lean, fierce techno that knows how to groove." 2022 was a watershed year for Kerrie's productions. She debuted on the monumental UK techno label Blueprint with her EP "Raw Regimen", which landed acclaimed reviews. Truly welcomed to the Blueprint family, Kerrie delivered her second EP in 2023 and joined the crew at label showcases around the globe. In the same year, she marked her tenth release on vinyl called "Transient Belief" which Blueprint added to their discography. In 2024, Kerrie's output continues to captivate, with Tresor releasing her EP "Machine Alliance", further solidifying her connection with the club and label and fulfilling one of her many goals (and dreams) as an artist. Coming to international prominence in more recent years, regardless of her decade-long tenure in Manchester's vibrant scene, Kerrie is deeply invested in the culture of electronic music, starting from her teenage era as a raver in Ireland up to her innovative projects today. In 2017, she founded Eastern Bloc's in-house event space to nurture local talent, which remains at the heart of Manchester's music community. Having ended her 11-year stint at the shop in 2023 to fully commit to the studio and accommodate her increasingly busy tour schedule, Kerrie is forging a long-lasting path fuelled by drive, passion, authenticity and a community-first way of thinking.Their RA profile lists Blueprint Records, Cultivated Electronics, Don't Be Afraid, I Love Acid and 2 more.Recently at Tresor / Globus, Berghain · often with TRESOR, GLOBUS, DJ Bone, none of them here that night
“Mareena's deep connection with electronic music began in her early teenage years in East Germany, where she experienced the quaking rise of techno.”
their own biography
the whole biography
Mareena's deep connection with electronic music began in her early teenage years in East Germany, where she experienced the quaking rise of techno. Growing up amidst youth club culture and underground parties in abandoned buildings, she was shaped by the no-nonsense, freedom-oriented spirit of the post-communist era. But it was when she moved to Berlin in 2004, that she started DJing, and the city and its vigorous nightlife contributed immensely to her understanding as an artist. Musically spoken, her roots branch deep into the spirit and sound of dub techno and pre and early 2000s techno productions. Adding to this foundation, Mareena has developed a statement sound characterized by rhythmic, lively, and non-linear beats that create an unrelenting flow of energy on the dancefloor. This foundation has earned a long-standing residency (since 2012) in the techno institution Tresor, which stands for a similar ethos. Authentic, but always evolving. Her ability to include hard and elegant elements into her vinyl-oriented sets has led her to play at renowned clubs across the globe - Berghain, De School, Faust Seoul or for the Bunker New York events. Mareena brings that club spirit also to life at the festivals she played, ranging from the cutting edge Up To Date Festival to ravier happenings like the Third Room and not to forget her ambient appearances like at Mostra Barcelona. As opposites are necessary to create balance and harmony, another facet of Mareena’s DJing is the subtle and evocative touches of her ambient sets. Mindfulness, slowing down and the art of contemplation are equally important to Mareen than the dancefloor euphoria. This has led her to found the event series, podcast and label UNRUSH in 2016. Unrush focuses on different hues of ambient music and therefore likes to be a counterpoint to today's fast-paced society. Mareena's career extends beyond DJing into production, too. Productions, that celebrate her love of synthesizers and don't stick to any of the classic genre boxes. So far, Mareena has released on labels like Muzan Editions, Tresor, and her imprint, Unrush. Her collaborative album with JakoJako, "Atlas Der Gedanken," is dedicated to different shades of ambient that make the listener reflect inwards and gaze outwards simultaneously through its organic and electronic touches. Mareena's credibility and authenticity, paired with a daring style, make her a key presence in today’s electronic music culture and carry its spirit forward.Their RA profile lists Tresor, Unrush and Muzan Editions.Recently at RSO.BERLIN, Tresor / Globus, Berghain · often with TRESOR, GLOBUS, Beatrice, none of them here that night

OPH is a French-born DJ and producer based in Berlin, recognized for his dedication to vinyl and his deep connection to the city’s techno culture. His journey began in Lyon, where he was active as a music journalist and ran a webzine focused on the local scene. In 2014 he moved to Berlin, a decisive step that allowed him to immerse himself in the city’s clubs and to start playing regularly. Over the years, OPH has shaped his sound through record digging and a broad musical background, channeling these influences into sets that balance intensity and emotion. This approach has brought him to play acclaimed closing sets at Berghain and RSO. Beyond his solo work, he performs alongside his close friend Chami in their Face 2 Face project. Together they have played at iconic venues such as Berghain, Bassiani and Womb in Japan. In recent years, OPH has also turned to music production, adding a new layer to his artistic journey and opening the way for future projects that reflect his ever evolving vision.Recently at Renate, Loone, Berghain · often with Budino, Mary Yuzovskaya, Kedi Bounce, none of them here that night
“Phara spins an intricate, contemporary take on techno while never losing touch with the genre's essence.”
their own biography
the whole biography
Phara spins an intricate, contemporary take on techno while never losing touch with the genre's essence. Influenced by the pioneering sounds of Detroit, Berlin and the UK, as well as post-punk, wave, EBM and electro, he makes compelling, highly personal tracks that ooze energy. Having emerged on the international scene with the "Next Of Kin" album on Black Sun Records, further experimentation with a slew of classic hardware synthesizers and outboard effects led to an analog-oriented practice and a selection of EPs that found a home at other blue chip imprints such as Soma,SK Eleven, Stockholm LTD and Planet Rhythm. Eventually his urge to move rapidly spurred the set-up of "Phaaar", the gimmick-free record label that serves as an additional output for his own music. It is clear Phara's production method is informed by the club and vice versa: the groove and power present on his records move and intertwine in the same fluid motion that he taps into as a DJ. He plays vinyl-only sets that navigate an intersection of fast rhythms, industrial atmospheres and dubbed-out pulses, backed by a collection of stone-cold classics. His venturesome spirit, understanding of dancefloor dynamics and pin-accurate mixing skills landed him a well-traveled booking schedule and a resident spot at Fuse, his hometown Brussels' legendary techno venue. In 2022, he ventured into new territory and debuted his live show, taking the Korg EMX-1 - a machine he knows inside and out - from the studio to the main stage. Showing a whole lot can be done with little, these performances adequately represent Phara's approach. The fusion of propulsive drum sequences, detuned chords and rumbling bass he fires from what is arguably his favorite piece of gear indeed both recounts and re-imagines the power of classic techno.Their RA profile lists Soma Records, Stockholm LTD, Sonntag Morgen, Planet Rhythm Records and 5 more.Last at Berghain in Jan · often with Fadi Mohem, Philippa Pacho, Setaoc Mass, none of them here that night

“Techno has always been about imagining the future and experiencing the excitement of change and discovery.”
their own biography
the whole biography
Techno has always been about imagining the future and experiencing the excitement of change and discovery. If anyone has lived up to this aspiration in recent years it would be Stefan Goldmann. Through every release and project he has brought a new edge to the table, with several of his tracks having served as genre-shifting blueprints – from his early reductionist works for the Classic and Perlon labels to Sleepy Hollow or Lunatic Fringe. Utilising an evolutionary approach which takes nothing for granted he is continuously infusing variation into the formal core of techno – from shifting meters to designing tuning systems to re-imagining the technological base of storing music. Radical yet playful innovation has consequently also become the criterion of Macro, the label he operates with Finn Johannsen. Stefan Goldmann performs regularly throughout Europe, Asia, the Americas and Australia. In addition he has expanded his artistic reach through a wide array of extraordinary projects outside of club culture, while maintaining an approach that remains essentially techno: investigating grid rhythm, sampling, vinyl culture or digitisation down to their cores. These encounters range from an intimate solo performance at Kyoto's iconic Honen-in Temple to performing the first ever electronic concert at Philharmonie Berlin's Grand Hall, in addition to curating a two-day festival for the eminent classical music institution. Commissions include the large-scale music theatre composition 'alif', site-specific concerts at LA's LACMA museum and CCK in Buenos Aires, collaborations with Ensemble Modern, scoring the award-winning documentary 'A1' and as well as a ballet for Nationaltheater Mannheim. A special relationship has grown between Stefan Goldmann and Berlin's Berghain. DJing at the club since 2006, he also conceived the Elektroakustischer Salon nights, opening up the venue for experimental music, and writes a column for the Berghain program flyer since 2012. He has also published the book 'Presets' and has written extensively on the aesthetics of electronic music. Few other artists have expanded techno's formal range farther while simultaneously pushing the envelope of dance music.Their RA profile lists Classic, Ovum Recordings, Cocoon Recordings, Perlon and 6 more.Recently at Philharmonie Berlin, Berghain · often with Tijana T, Xiaolin, Installation, none of them here that night

Bennet’s craft lies in the ability to weave together the endless spectrum of house. From soulful introspective depths to euphoric, groove-driven peaks, he is able to create a seamless momentum, celebrating the body in movement and the dancefloor as a collective space for unity, joy, and liberation. Approaching his sets with a deep sensitivity, he hones in on the energy of the room, letting intuition and flow shape the collective, enriching his performances with emotional depth and warmth. With performances at parties such as London’s Adonis, Multisex in Berlin, Gay Haze and Horst Club in Brussels, Bennet has shaped a sound that is sharp, dynamic, and deeply attuned to a pulsating dancefloor. Off the dancefloor, Bennet co-curates the mix and party series Buttercup, while he is also a core member of the Hannover-rooted collective soft spot and holds a residency at Hamburg’s Queerpool party since 2025.Recently at ZENNER, Berghain · often with Gene On Earth, LOLSNAKE, André Galluzzi, none of them here that night

After more than 25 years of spinning and producing under pseudonyms Stephanie, D’Stephanie, and later on D’Steph, with releases on renowned labels such as Sonar Kollektiv, Chez, Jalapeno, Hed Kandi, PUMA… a change was necessary to break down old habits and reinvent oneself. This resulted in a short move to London in the summer of 2015 and a more consistent one to Berlin 2 months later. It's In Berlin where she revived her passion for real underground house music in its most honest way and resuscitated her inner nineties kid that just discovered house by bringing back the essence of house music without genre limitations… The kind of house music that was about your mind, your body, and your soul. The ultimate seduction for rebels, artists, anarchists, people of all nations, colors, genders, sexualities, and most of all an open-minded, non-commercialized or marketed community. To put this feeling into action, a new pseudonym was inevitable and Sherø was born. Eversince Sherø became a regular at Berlin´s best party scene with a residency at Brenn. and sets at Hor, Buttons, Gegen, Cocktail d’Amore, RSO, Horse meat disco, Watergate, About Blank, KAKE, Renate, Golosa, Whole festival, the Garbicz festival… Around 2018 an old childhood dream resurfaced and resulted in a a few years of brainstorming and preparations to start her own record label. In 2020, right at the start of the pandemic she launched her own imprint KlubKid Records, a queer record label with a cute small roster of quality artists from the electronic music scene: Karma She, Electrosexual, Sherø, Joy Wellboy, Kirill Shapovalov, with his Haute Dance project, Pepper Levain, and Dornika. What has she been up to in the past? It's been quite a ride for Stephanie. Starting at the tender age of 15 years old at Radio Centraal, a local radio station frequented by some of the early stars of fashion and art students, Stephanie moved on quickly to the playgrounds of some of the best clubs in Belgium. From 1993 thru 2005, Stephanie held various well-respected club residencies, serving a mix of house, deep house, Techno, tech house, and other new electronic music genres. 1993 - 1998: At the renowned Café d’Anvers she spun at the groundbreaking Gap Club, Positive Educations, and Nu Skool Friday nights. Meanwhile, Antwerp crowds also witnessed her do her thing at Excursions in Dance on Saturday Nights while on Thursdays she rocked Brussels' very hi-tech Cyber Theatre. Meanwhile, she was a frequent guest DJ at various clubs and Festivals like I love techno, 10 days off festival, Fuse club, and many more. Come 1999, Stephanie was one of the quintessential factors that made Fill Collins club the hippest in Antwerp and beyond. Two years later, she maintained her momentum when she moved to Club Geluk for another 3-year residency at Antwerp’s newest hotspot. In this period she got signed at Holland’s Barkers bookings agency, and scored a 3 monthly residency at Chemistry in Amsterdam, while frequently playing Now & Wow in Rotterdam and Decadence in Ghent. On top of all that, for 4 years, she blessed one of the biggest male lifestyle magazines Ché with often controversial record reviews. After 2005 the club scene in Belgium changed into a more pop up party orientated nightlife so she decided to break free from club residencies and focus on one-off gigs and touring with vocalists who featured on her own productions on labels such as Sonar Kollektiv (Berlin), Jalapeno Records (London), Chez (New York), Hed Kandi (UK), Puma (USA), Black Vinyl (London), Broadcite (London), Wally’s groove world (Antwerp) and many more. Throughout 2011 Stephanie featured vocalists from around the globe: Wunmi (New York/London), Angelique Brown (Detroit), JNM (Amsterdam), Philippo & Melissa (Antwerp). From 2012 until the present day, Stephanie went back to basics and started playing solo again as an underground house dj.
