Playing a wide range of genres from bass to breaks, AAMIROO adopts a more genre-fluid approach to his music. among others AAMIROO integrates UK club as well as percussive sounds in his sets. Currently a resident at Refuge Worldwide, he focuses on covering music from different genres and the social and cultural themes they evoke. His track ‘Southcore’ was a hallmark at the beginning of the hype around the so-called ‘Latin-core' genre, reaching a vast number of plays by DJ’s in mixes and at festivals all around the globe. Moving away from the classic formula of mixing global club sounds such as techno/rave with references to popular Latin American music like cumbia and reggaeton, he found himself releasing tracks on compilations for labels such as MAJIA, Angels Gun Club, Cuntry Club, Parkingstone and Terminal Records pushing the limits of this sound. This phase culminated with his EP "Arraigo," released on Modeselektor 's SSPB label, including a remix by Lechuga Zafiro. Other collaborations include 'Nox-flamma EP' with Digitonica (OverMyBody) and a joint project with Oliver Torr (WARE). His last EP 'Rituales' was released in November '25 on mexican’s cult label NAAFI. fisk is a genre-fluid DJ, promoter, sound engineer and artist navigating club, experimental and bass music for almost a decade. Working with self-recorded samples, she chops, processes and re-samples her material into textured, low-end-driven constructions. Since making music for self indulgence, it has restored pleasure and weirdness to her work. fisk’s practice moves between exhibition and stage, merging activism and artistic expression, rooted in the DIY. As a DJ she plays a variety or music styes, weaving them into her distinctive approach to club and bass music. fisk has also been curating concerts and club nights in Berlin, championing eclectic and forward-thinking sounds, while battling the ever growing commercialisation of underground and organically grown culture and communities. - perfection is fake - rhythm is life - Part of AL.Berlin crew, a collective showcasing interdisciplinary events with live music, DJs and artists, with focus on contemporary music of West Asia & North Africa.
