“Bold, joyful and ever-curious, DJ and producer Kamma's creative world is fueled by her sharp intuition and a solid musical foundation.”

the whole biography
Bold, joyful and ever-curious, DJ and producer Kamma's creative world is fueled by her sharp intuition and a solid musical foundation. She draws inspiration from her roots as an Amsterdam native, her Chinese-Indonesian heritage and a deep familial connection with club culture. Kamma’s parents were professional DJs in the Dutch capital's club circuit in the 80s and 90s, and she grew up amongst their 30,000 jazz, funk, disco and house record collection. Kamma's musical education continued at the iconic Trouw, where DJs mixed straightforward house and techno with rarer cuts from virtually every genre. These influences formed the blueprint for the experimentation Kamma explores in her own sets, moving from warm uplifting house into trippy, percussive techno and landing on all manner of euphoric sounds along the way. Ever loyal to her Eastside roots, Kamma co-created Amsterdam's first high fidelity listening bar Doka, alongside frequent collaborator Masalo. The duo also runs the Brighter Days event and mix series, which celebrates an open-minded dance floor approach and platforms the local community as well as legendary guests from further afield. In 2023 Kamma & Masalo released a Brighter Days compilation on Rush Hour, featuring obscurities, previously unreleased music from upcoming talent, as well as their own K&M edits. Kamma has leant her sensitivity and keen ear to solo productions too, a natural progression from practising piano and jamming on a Casio synthesiser as a child. Her debut single, ‘Snow In April’, which featured on Antal’s Rainbow Disco Club compilation, weaves abstracted electronics and ambient through transfixing loops of downtempo synths. Now Kamma’s productions are changing gears – with club-focused tracks on the horizon in 2024 and 2025. Her performances are set to follow suit, leaning more heavily into an electronic aesthetic whilst remaining true to her rock solid artistic foundation.Recently at Else · often with Sybil, Margaret Dygas, Scott Zacharias, none of them here that night
“An integral part of the Amsterdam scene, Masalo’s abundant creativity blends sophistication with a solid dose of rebelliousness.”

the whole biography
An integral part of the Amsterdam scene, Masalo’s abundant creativity blends sophistication with a solid dose of rebelliousness. His sets shift effortlessly between house, techno, hi-NRG, and disco, while incorporating his own tracks and gems from decades of digging. Formative years at Amsterdam institutions like Trouw and Paradiso placed Masalo in the thick of the city’s underground dance community. He cites his family as an even earlier inspiration: jam sessions and a passion for analog machines from his father, a love of dancing and cultural influences from his Japanese mother, and hip-hop and turntablism courtesy of his brother. Extending the family feeling, Masalo has continued to build community through the Brighter Days event and compilation series he runs alongside his longtime musical partner Kamma. A prolific producer, 2017 saw Masalo’s first official release; a remix of Bassekou Kouyate’s Jama Ko, turning the Malian soul ballad into a hypnotically energetic house tune. He then joined the illustrious ranks at Rush Hour – a label and crew that has been integral to his creative journey – releasing his debut EP ‘New Dance’ in 2019, followed by collaborations with Soichi Terada, Jamie 3:26, and Palms Trax. His status as a sure-fire tastemaker goes beyond the official catalog, with unreleased edits like his Acid Dream version of Oliver N’Goma’s ‘Lina’ and a rework of Prince’s ‘Rave Unto The Joy Fantastic’ becoming sought-after club anthems. The next evolution of his artistry takes the shape of a live show, which he will debut on Dekmantel’s formidable main stage this year. The live set delves into the more electronic spectrum of his signature sound — a high-octane journey of lush synths, hard-hitting drum patterns, and euphoric arpeggio basslines, blending new material with nods to his beloved classics. His set-up is called The Trinity — a custom-made rig, designed and built in collaboration with new school architects. Through a dedicated process of building, programming, and mastering The Trinity, Masalo improvises in conversation with the crowd, ensuring no two performances sound exactly the same. Studio renditions of several tracks on The Trinity will be released by Rush Hour, Safe Trip, and Dekmantel in late 2024. Raised between Istanbul and New York City, Omer Bil, better known as O.BEE, has cultivated a musical palette that encompasses the two culture hubs and everything in between. Known for dancing in between different genres and styles, juggling the traditional and the avant-garde, O.BEE weaves together unknown yet familiar sonic landscapes, in a signature style that reflects his own musical identity; optimistic yet rebellious and filled by passion. Liberating the dance floor from the accustomed rules and stepping away from functional expectations, he instead cultivates musical trips for both the dancer and the listener, communicating with the north and south of the body, fueled with intellectual and sensual energy. During his formative years in New York City, O.BEE embarked on a multifaceted journey, characterized by both scholarly pursuits and immersive experiences on the dance floor. His academic path led him to study Contemporary Music at the prestigious New School in Manhattan, where he found himself among the finest jazz talents of his generation. Simultaneously, he delved into the vibrant nightlife scene as a resident DJ and avid participant at the renowned New York party series, ReSolute, where he honed his craft and deepened his connection to the dynamic energy within the city’s underground culture. In 2020 he launched Jigit, a collective and record label alongside Tomas Station and Asli Tunaman, serving as a platform for their creative output, encompassing original productions and selections from their inner circle. This multifaceted venture, comprising a record label, event series, and lifestyle brand, has garnered a devoted global following, thanks to its distinct artistic ethos. Apart from his heavy touring schedule to new destinations, O.BEE holds regular residencies in renowned institutions Fabric, London and Club der Visionaere, Berlin as well as infamous Ibiza club DC-10 where he and Tomas Station are residents of the formidable Circoloco Mondays. Across the pond in Brooklyn's H0l0, O.BEE has established an “All Night Long” series where he can cast his spell to listeners in mind bending open to close sets that have run up to 16 hours. Also present on the larger stages of dance music, recent years have seen him perform in trendsetting festivals such as Houghton, Waking Life, Kappa Futur, Sunwaves and more. A seeker of sonic truth, O.BEE remains committed to the relentless pursuit of artistic evolution, drawing inspiration from the symphony of life itself to create music that resonates deep within the soul to heal and be healed.House on 4, Deep House on 4, Tech House on 3 and Minimal on 2. styles on their catalogued releasesReleased on Jigit (2) (1), Slacker 85 (1) and Understory (1); their RA profile also lists Sleep is Commercial, Moody Recordings and ALINE Brooklyn. labels on their catalogued releases and on their RA profileRecently at Haus der Visionäre, Club der Visionaere · often with Willy Soul, Rasho, Maksim, none of them here that night

Paramida moved to Berlin in 2010 and has since made an impact to the local club scene with a distinctive and sensualizing approach to music. Her varied sets represent something hopeful, something unusual, something unlikely. A beacon of pleasure and surprise. Blending proto-house to trance, percussive gems with high-energy techno, Italian dream house and irresistible new beat – Paramida is truly committed to digging. The Panorama Bar resident is a confident, talented and occasionally provocative artist in a city whose musical rules are often made to be played by and begging to be broken. While working at OYE Records, she began her life as a DJ between a tireless party scene by night and days immersed in music. In the years since, those same instincts have taken Paramida to far-out places. Her singular thirst for often obscure, always incredible music has lead her to residencies at two of the world's most renowned nightclubs. Already a regular fixture in the booth at Offenbach’s rightfully coveted Robert Johnson, she started her residency at Berghain’s Panorama Bar in 2020. Having impressed on many occasions, whether conducting winningly trippy afternoon excursions through to a number of unpredictable closing sets, extending well beyond sunrise, dancers always share the energy of Paramida’s singular obsession. Outside of dancefloor expectations, Paramida’s recent discoveries and closely-held gems make up the soundtrack of her monthly show on Rinse FM. Paramida’s taste is also the guiding spirit at the heart of Love On The Rocks, the label she founded in 2014. Its catalogue is defined by irresistible, offbeat club anthems and unexpected 12"s adapted from the dustiest corners of outsider dance culture, bringing together elements from nu-disco, trance, acid, deep and progressive house, breaks and ambient music across continents. Many of the unlikely and treasured connections that form the backbone of Love On The Rocks have been established as Paramida has travelled the world, performing at clubs and festivals across Europe as well as Asia, Australia, Central and South America. Devoted to the euphoric potential of nightlife, Paramida is one of dance music’s true characters; a passionate proponent of music, a devoted resident and quite simply, a DJ always worth hearing.Their RA profile lists Ostgut Ton, Love On The Rocks and Dimension Of Being Human.Last at Berghain in Apr · often with Giammarco Orsini, Bobby., BASHKKA, none of them here that night
