the whole biography
Originally from Moscow and now based in Berlin, Holywanderer is a DJ, promoter, Matreshka and Whoroscope resident, and co-founder of the Holyberg music association. His sound moves through Italo, Dark Disco, EBM, New Wave and Indie Dance, blending body-driven rhythms with post-punk tension, shadowy electronics and moments of romantic melancholy. His sets are built around pressure and release - a journey between raw energy, emotional depth and hypnotic club movement. Active across Berlin’s underground scene, Holywanderer has played at venues and community events including Madame Claude, Blue Velvet, ://about blank and other local spaces, while also producing music events in Berlin through Holyberg. As a promoter, he focuses on creating intimate, carefully curated nights that bring together distinctive selectors, strong visual identity and a sense of shared atmosphere. His mixes have been featured by DarkDisco.org and Disco Suicide, further connecting his work with the darker and more emotionally charged side of contemporary club culture.Recently at Matreshka Bar, Madame Claude, Blue Velvet · often with dOctOr doms, Anna Hoeber, nillonollin, none of them here that night
