Strongly shaped by the raw and forward-leaning sound of 90’s Techno, Milan based artist Alarico Zucchi started his journey into electronic music in 2015 making his way through clubs as a DJ while learning the art of music production. The inauguration of ‘Alarico’ occurred in 2019 after previously exploring several sub-genres of Techno. The alias was formed as a statement to showcase a style that was personal to him. Personal in a way that he became captivated within the patterns and structures of his own sound. Known for fast paced rhythms and kinky grooves he has released music consistently since his debut in 2020 on Joton’s imprint ‘Newrhytmic Records’. Shortly after he launched the vinyl imprint “Katana Records” which showcases the more nose-bleed and mental side of his idea of Techno. Also 2021 so far has been a prolific key year for Alarico. While the world fell seemingly more and more asleep, he continued honing his craft: His debut on Amsterdam based label ‘OOM Records’ was followed by an invitation to a highly acclaimed artists label, which is soon to be disclosed. The same goes for an upcoming remix. Alarico continues to position himself as a unique music lover, continuing to explore the depths and possibilities of sound. A trained jazz keyboard player and professional audio engineer makes for a completely unique meeting of musicianship and sound design. It is the merging of these two elements which gives us the signature sound of Duncan Thomas. Tom has performed under many names, notably, Size 8, TR and with his jazz band the TR trio. Tom emerged with the alias Duncan Thomas this year to create a platform to release quality underground music which rooted itself to the dance floor rather than the jazz bar. It was also an opportunity for Tom to make music for the club, whilst incorporating rich chord progressions and harmonic layers, transferred over skills from his background as a jazz player. The result is an unmistakable sound of ethereal deep grooves with a soulful character which can be recognised throughout his back catalogue. This is perhaps most evident in his live show. Alongside his production Duncan Thomas is relentless as a DJ, and by no means shy behind wheels. He is constantly digging for fresh underground sounds new and old and is often recognised through he extended vinyl only sets. After years of deep digging and collecting music, HAMY stepped behind the decks in 2023, bringing a carefully shaped sound to the dance floor that connects timeless underground energy with contemporary club music. Growing up in Berlin with Vietnamese roots, her musical perspective was shaped early on by the city’s club culture and diverse influences. Shaped by years of collecting since 2012, her approach draws strongly from Berlin’s techno sound while continuously developing through new music and ideas. Moving between trippy, rolling and bouncy techno and increasingly house-driven rhythms, her selections focus on progression and contrast, creating space for tension, release and musical storytelling without relying on fixed categories. On the dance floor, HAMY carefully builds momentum, guiding the crowd through unexpected shifts in sound and mood. Her ability to shape coherent yet surprising sets has quickly earned her trust and a growing following, leading to performances at venues such as Tresor, RSO, PAL (now NTSC), OXI, Watergate, Rote Sonne and PAN. In 2025, she brought her sound to Asia with a tour including Tokyo, Shanghai, Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, Bali and Bangkok, while also playing internationally in cities such as Barcelona, Manchester and across Italy. In January 2025, HAMY released her debut track “Chim Lac Dan, Garuda!” on A7A with close collaborator ENNIO. Released around Lunar New Year, the track reflects her cultural background while merging contemporary club energy with personal and emotional layers. Beyond DJing, HAMY works across music, visual culture and curation. Originally trained as a graphic designer, her interdisciplinary practice connects sound, art direction and community-building. Pain and pleasure, and the alchemy of converting one to the other through expression is more than a motif in Narciss’ music, it’s the theme. At times it’s a lilting melody strung atop a shuffle of percussive activity, at others a thrumming reverie, heavy laden with low end and much more besides, but this variance of sounds inevitably resonates deep inside. Throughout the entirety of their musical progression, Narciss has been indefatigable in their endeavours, which are motivated by the connection and catharsis that their music cultivates. This desire to share the transformative powers of music has not only imbued their output with an enticing and revelrous timbre, it has fostered collaborations with like-minded souls like Gerd Janson and DJ Boring, among others. “There’s a red thread that I’ve been weaving through my life” says Narciss of their journey. The Brazilian native founded the HOOVE collective in 2016, where he played an integral part in redefining the local scene, developing and showcasing a more groovy and happy approach to his selections.
