DJ RUSH draws on his varied taste in music from contemporary Brazilian Jazz, and rare disco to The Beatles to take you on a tour of the deep side of reality, mind and soul through his vision of rhythmic percussive style. Rush gives recordings physical and mindpuzzling energy. The 6'6" giants' open minded attitude to life is: Take me for what I am or don't take me at all. Born in Chicago (USA), he grew up on the South Side and started to party at a very young age, immediately picking up on the fever of the music. He would attend clubs like The Ringzone, Playground, The Candystore and The Music Box. Before he began playing gigs in Chicago, he started making tracks in his bedroom with his friends' sinsonic drums. In Rushs' own words, "It's always important and interesting to make music according to your feelings and experiences" which is exactly what he does with The Energy EP. He likes to play with voices and percussion (his percussion is both wicked and legendary) in his many releases. Throughout the years DJ RUSH has committed himself to the art of rhythm & drums. Born in the big city of Chicago, his music is heard throughout the world, including such famous tunes as Spitball, I Love You, and Mutha Fucking Bass. Although much of Rush's work is used for many mix compilations, some of his most famous moments have come from his live performances. In 1989 Rush had his first residency in a club called the Reactor in Chicago playing 70's disco for a crowd of 800, including 10 hour non-stop sets for party kids. He then continued to play for the famous Medusa club, Power House, Music Box, and Warehouse. Quickly becoming a central figure in Chicago's house scene, Rush's uniqueness and individuality has always been portrayed in his productions and djing. "Not letting the music control me, but letting the music guide me"Their RA profile lists Basic Beat, Mental Groove, Dark House Music, Relief Records and 6 more.Last at Berghain in Apr · often with Richard Akingbehin, Kangding Ray, Berghain, none of them here that night
“Even with such achievments to his credit, Dr.”
their own biography
the whole biography
Even with such achievments to his credit, Dr. Motte has stayed true to his ideals, true to the 'underground' that has been his home for decades. By his chosen way of life, he remains attuned to and a part of that all important zeitgeist. Now like then, he stands for peace, love, unity and respect. His sound is sophisticated, energetic and multifaceted. He combines thrilling Acid sounds and rousing club grooves with driving Techno beats and takes his audience on a thrilling trip through his universe. “If you perceive music as a kind of social responsibility of a culture you'll always remain progressive.” (Dr. Motte) _ Up until 1989 Mathias Roeingh led a relatively low-key life. Born in Spandau in 1960 he tiptoed through the scene; from 1981 – 1984 with the ‘Toten Piloten’ (dead pilots), a Berlin punk band before around 1985 two turntables and a mixer stood where guitar bass and drums used to be. The dance scene in the mid-80’s was small and barely noticed by the general public. A hint of the mass phenomena that defined the 90’s was no where to be found. His associates only wanted to do with electronic music and the sounding out of these new developments unfolding in music. In 1989 from this zeitgeist there arose a bold idea that would make a mark on the history of music and make Dr. Motte live forever. ‘Friends’ regularly visited the underground parties in England, reported Dr. Motte about the drastic measures of the British police forces against these events. They would be spectacularly dissolved and sound systems would be taken into custody. The party crowd however was not to be deterred. They danced to music ghetto blasted into the streets. Inspired from this image Dr. Motte thought about how he could bring this spirit back to Berlin. The solution was as simple as it was magnificent: an exhibition – a demonstration the modern culture of electronic dance music. Under the motto “Peace, Happiness and Pancakes” there followed 150 music and dance lovers on 01.07.1989 at the Kürfurstendamm. After that, things were no longer as they once were. Electronic dance music was the most important youth movement of the 90’s with the Loveparade as the chief symbol. For this 1 day in the year the Loveparade dissolved all the borders and over the years and eventually grew to become a national and international gathering. Germany, whose reputation even today is massively seen through they perspective of world wars, was now seen in a different light: open, happy, young! Berlin became sexy! The number of the visitors grew to such a degree in so few years that the Loveparade 1995 due to space constrictions had to leave the Ku’damm and moved to the spacious area around the Street of the 17th of June. In 1999 the Loveparade broke all previous records. Dr. Motte held court at the closing rally in front of around 1.2 million ravers from the whole world on the Siegessäule. For the overwhelming success of the Loveparade, Dr. Motte remained underground. From the increasingly commercial tint of the spectacle he remained the same. When in November 2005 the trademark ‘Loveparade’ was to be sold to a fitness chain entrepreneur, he was opposed to the move. As one of 5 associates of the Loveparade Berlin GmbH he was outnumbered and finally refused his right of veto in order to maintain the “Holiday for electronic music” for society. At any rate the Loveparade was threatened with bankruptcy and negative financial viability and the end was well in view. After the first parade under new management in the summer of 2006 is was clear to Dr. Motte that the decision was a mistake. The idealistic content and aims of which he was always a strong proponent were now shuffled to the curb. This is why he distanced himself publicly from the Loveparade and the new owners. In the years following, things cooled off for the ‘Father of the Loveparade’ – ‘Dr. Motte’ still tours around the world as a DJ. He plays at the biggest festivals and in world renowned clubs. As a representative of German electronic music from the Goethe Institute in Munich in cooperation with the Foreign Affairs Office in Berlin he was invited to “Germany On Display” in Nanjing (eastern China). As well he alsois engaged in various initiatives such as “Laut gegen Nazi’s” (loud against nazi’s), ‘Freiheit statt Angst’ (freedom instead of fear) and many others. Nakadia is celebrated as the first Asian DJ to break into the global techno circuit, a true trailblazer whose story has inspired generations. From growing up in rural Thailand without electricity or running water, she transformed her life through passion, courage, and relentless dedication to music. Launching her career in 2002, Nakadia has since spent more than two decades touring the globe — performing over 2,000 gigs across 90 countries. She became the rare exception: an Asian artist who not only entered, but established herself inside Europe’s fiercely competitive techno scene. Her sets are powerful yet playful, delivering both intensity and joy on the dancefloor. Her discography spans respected labels such as Filth on Acid, Intec, Codex, and Set About, and in 2021 she released her autobiography Positive Energy, sharing the remarkable journey from the rice fields of Thailand to the world’s biggest stages. Today, Nakadia stands as a global icon of perseverance and innovation. She represents Asia on the international techno stage not just as an artist, but as a legend who continues to push boundaries and open doors for future generations.Their RA profile lists Intec Digital, Codex Recordings, Set About, Filth on Acid and 2 more.Last at KitKatClub in May · often with Evilyn Frantic, Kinky Booth, Kinky Tarot Reading, none of them here that night

An exciting adventure, a project where two German friends –Christian and Fabio- began by holding a party in Hamburg (Baumhaus at famous Reeperbahn) and now it has become an unbounded creativity and scope duo with the purposed to make us spinning with their particular ‘Techno With Drama’ doctrine. The duo represent a generation of DJ/Producers who don’t need to attend to any musical rules, just carve in their main passion and provide a fresh listening to the techno circuit audience. Heady, inspired and hypnotic sounds to techno’s always vibrant culture. Demanding people, no doubt! The Boys recently joined Adam Beyer’s „DRUMCODE“ and released one of the biggest Techno Tracks of the Year: „Dark Clouds“. Earning the #1 on Beatport and huge support from the whole scene, this track is truly the summer anthem of 2023. Although they have released first-class music on top-notch labels such as Filth On Acid or Terminal M, their current real aim is to continue conquering the worldwide clubbing field with their own imprint TRAGEDIE. They are ready -and more than ever before by having full creative control- to explore, elevate and display their fine-tuned signature sound to the next level. “Excellence is never an accident… choice, not chance, determines your destiny.” Aristotle, Greek, philosopher)Their RA profile lists Drumcode, Stil vor Talent, Terminal M, Suara and 5 more.Recently at Ritter Butzke, SAGE, Mammoth Moma5 · often with Tocadisco, Martin Ka, Prismode, none of them here that night
