  Brooklyn-based DJ and producer Clarisa Kimskii has cemented her musical footprint on the borough since moving back in 2022. Through a palpable blend of psychedelic and driving techno, Clarisa’s approach to the genre is deeply idiosyncratic - an assemblage of both timeless and modern grooves. As a producer, Clarisa has contributed to a handful of respected labels (Monday Off, Dusk & Haze, Mysteries of the Deep, etc.) within her sonic niche, but it’s through her own label L.A.G where the ethos of her sound truly takes form - a detailed variation of propulsive and atmospheric soundscapes. Clarisa is deeply rooted in the techno subculture’s underground, and in early 2022 - the 20+ year veteran was named resident DJ of the Brooklyn-based, queer party Merge. Through her former residency at Merge and regular appearances at the city’s premiere institutions in BASEMENT Nowadays and Bossa Nova Civic Club Clarisa’s prestige is undeniably felt. Her pure, yet passionate approach to DJing has graced the decks of memorable nights at international institutions in Berlin's Berghain, Tbilisi's Khidi, and at notably iconic parties in Wrecked, Club Toilet, and The Bunker NY. Recent festival appearances at Taiwan’s Organik Festival and North America’s Honcho Campout, Sustain-Release, Whole Festival , Draaimolen and The Great Beyond have only elevated her reputation as a force within those respective communities.   Vera Logdanidi’s journey in the music industry began as a DJ in Kyiv, Ukraine during the mid-2000s. Since then, she has developed into a versatile producer, with her music released on respected labels such as Rhythm Büro, Semantica Records, On Board Music, Dial Records, Konstrukt and others. Her solo and collaborative tracks have been remixed by artists including Eric Cloutier, Artefakt, and Svreca. In addition to her DJ sets, Vera made her live debut at Draaimolen Festival, presenting another dimension of her artistic voice through live performance. She has also collaborated with Ukrainian producer Na Nich on joint live projects. Beyond her own productions, Vera frequently tours both domestically and internationally. Her dynamic range allows her to adapt to both intimate settings and large festival stages. She has performed at renowned venues such as Berghain, Panorama Bar, Bassiani, Tresor, Closer, ∄, among others. Her festival appearances include Draaimolen, Monument City Festival, Ickra, Strichka, Brave Factory Festival, and more. In her sets, Vera moves seamlessly between powerful, groovy, and mental techno, deep house experiments, ambient explorations, and occasional dives into broken beat and jungle, which hold a special place in her musical path. Vera’s artistic practice extends beyond the dance floor. Her audio-visual project VOICES (2022) was showcased at MU Hybrid Art House in Eindhoven, pushing her expression into multimedia art. In 2024, her collaboration with artist Bambi Benko was awarded the prestigious Brutus Prize. Their joint work combined Benko’s installation Earthseed with Vera’s sound design, creating an otherworldly atmosphere inspired by Octavia E. Butler’s Parable of the Sower. Aside from producing and touring, Vera is also the co-founder of Rhythm Büro, a collective known for bringing top international artists to Kyiv. Rhythm Büro’s most unique project, the Natura festival, used to gather over 4,000 guests annually in a remote outdoor location. However, the festival has been on hold during the ongoing war. Vera was also a co-owner of 22:22 Studio, which began as a record label and expanded into a mixing and mastering studio (currently inactive). As an active member of the Ukrainian music community, she supports emerging and established artists alike. Her Kashtan project, which started as a radio show, has grown into both a label and a community hub, curating Ukrainian electronic music across genres. Alongside her artistic work, Vera shares her knowledge as a sound production lecturer at Skvot School, nurturing the next generation of producers.
