The UK producer’s creative output has been most prolific with an extensive amount of releases on labels such as Arts, Soma and Figure, but now tends to concentrate on his own imprint Clergy which has hosted the likes of Dax J, James Ruskin, Kwartz and Cleric himself. Celebrated for his high tempo groove and solid kick drums, Cleric describes his music as a means to translate energy to others. In 2019, we saw Jorden tour his first live set with bookings across many festivals, including Voltage, Luft Und Liebe, ADE and Instytut festival. Now taking a short break from this project, he will be looking to tour a completely new live set up from October 2020 onwards.

  • DJ Stingray 313

Detroit, United States of America · 6 bookings since Aug 2025

“His musical catalog covers themes and concepts regarding modern science, genetics, healthcare, technology and their effects on the human condition.”

    their own biography

    the whole biography
His musical catalog covers themes and concepts regarding modern science, genetics, healthcare, technology and their effects on the human condition. His earliest productions appeared in 1987 as a collaboration with Lou Robinson (of Scan 7) under the group name Nasa with “Time To Party” and “Cant Stop Now”. Stingray’s solo productions appeared later under the Urban Tribe moniker on Carl Craig’s Planet E Communications label (“Covert Action”). 1998’s debut of “The Collapse Of Modern Culture” on James Lavelle’s Mo’Wax label turned Urban Tribe into a collaborative effort, adding Carl Craig, Anthony “Shake” Shakir and Moodymann to the group. His most notable connection, however, is through the iconic electro outfit of James Stinson and Gerald Donald aka Drexciya. As Mystic Tribe A.I., Stingray’s early credit was on Stinson’s (as The Other People Place) “Sunday Night Live at the Laptop Cafe” 12” via Clone Records. Further meetings with the duo earned him the name “Drexciyan DJ Stingray”, subsequently becoming Stinson and Donald’s official touring DJ. Donning his emblematic balaclava, his cyborg-like DJ sets continue to leave audiences captivated globally for decades. This skilled approach to the dancefloor gives him quite the in-demand gig schedule, appearing at landmark festivals and venues like Tresor Berlin, Glastonbury, Dekmantel, Movement Festival (Detroit), Making Time (USA), Sonar Festival (Barcelona), Berghain, Dimensions Festival, and Berlin Atonal. Stingray’s career continued on as DJ Stingray 313 (and as Stingray313, respectively), after Stinson’s passing in 2002 in respect of the Drexciyan legacy. His ever-unique productions have seen releases on Mahogani Music, Warp Records, Rephlex (“Misinformation Campaign” EP), Tresor (Kern, Vol. 4), and Unknown To The Unknown (Imping Is Easy). Collaborative EPs on WéMè Records with Gerald Donald and Penelope Martin were released in 2012 under the enigmatic NRSB-11 moniker. DJ Stingray 313’s music and sets are met with high praise in the media, with constant appearances in DJ Mag, Resident Advisor, Mixmag, The Wire, Pitchfork and Fact Magazine, as well as mixes on BBC radio. His Micron Audio imprint also continues the representation of his futuristic template, embodying his signature sound of electro and techno. Aside from creating Micron as home to release his music – see the inimitable “Electronic Countermeasures” EP – he releases music from emerging artists in accord with his vision including Galaxian, Ctris, Loka and 6SISS. DJ Stingray 313 remains a steadfast figure in his uncompromising sound, craftily setting the soundtrack to the not-too-distant future. – J. Howard

“Fueled by passion, Dutch artist Vera Grace is steadily shaping her own space in Amsterdam’s scene.”

    their own biography

    the whole biography
Fueled by passion, Dutch artist Vera Grace is steadily shaping her own space in Amsterdam’s scene. Her sound continues to evolve, blending modular synthesis with hypnotic rhythms and deep mental trips that make you lose sense of time. She approaches DJing as a way to create something new through layering, while her productions focus on warped sound design. Her curiosity about modular synthesis opened a new dimension in her work. She started developing a fully live analog set and has recently begun performing with her modular system, constantly pushing her sound forward. Her most recent EPs, What Was Always There and Funktion Over Form, convey a clear essence in her sound. She moves fluidly between broken rhythms, ambient trips, psychedelic textures, and driving 4/4 tracks, all while staying true to the genre’s roots. After graduating the Conservatorium of Amsterdam, Vera Grace is steadily forging her place in the scene, with performances at clubs like Radion, Grelle Forelle, Elysia, FVTVR, Tresor, and festivals such as Aquasella, Awakenings and DGTL already under her belt. “When Carly Zeng DJs, it’s highly unlikely she’ll do the same thing twice.”

    their own biography

    the whole biography
When Carly Zeng DJs, it’s highly unlikely she’ll do the same thing twice. Chinese-born and now Berlin-based, she has formed quite the community in her chosen city through her party, Dissident, which fosters a nurturing approach to music discovery. Her long love affair with vinyl-focused digging is no secret. And the ripple effects of such veracious collecting can be heard in the way she weaves together the many genres that she likes–be it a trippy tribal or prog track with a weird structure or an off-kilter sound effect in a punchy house tune – she’s forever on the lookout for tracks with that little extra spice. Carly’s entry point into dance music in NYC, led her into smaller parties, DIY spaces and warehouse raves and the community spirit she found there is something she still carries with her today. A known name within Berlin’s queer music scene, she is regularly billed at parties such as Cocktail D’Amore and Body Language. Whether as a DJ, community organizer or dancer on the floor, Carly is staunchly attentive to her role within the dance music ecosystem and how to best curate a warming experience for everyone involved. While many DJs approach genre adventurously, few are as expansive and unique as CCL. With an incisive, technical and creative approach to mixing, and a ravenous appetite for music of all kinds, they can unite the unimaginable with a uniquely adaptable sense of dancefloor intuition. Drawing from experiences as a talent buyer, DIY festival organizer, and record collector with roots in Bristol and the DIY scenes of North America, CCL’s perspective draws from an affinity for fluidity and liminality – they weave together distinct narratives that open rhythmic wormholes between geographical regions, eras, and all genres and tempos. From their acclaimed club and festival sets, mixtapes, their liquidtime series, and their residency at Berlin institution Ohm, they showcase their unique take on sonic storytelling and otherworldly dancefloor intuition, uniting dance floors and chatrooms around the world. “A music nerd's DJ but also a DJ’s DJ”- Resident Advisor’s “Art of DJing”.

“Equally adept at playing propulsive deep techno, as she is at exploring hazy breaks, sumptuous downtempo, soaring trance, expansive drone, and even full-throttle drum and bass, Sybil’s sets often criss-cross through all of these genres and more, as she guides dancers on journeys which are emotive, thrilling and ultimately revitalising.”

Equally adept at playing propulsive deep techno, as she is at exploring hazy breaks, sumptuous downtempo, soaring trance, expansive drone, and even full-throttle drum and bass, Sybil’s sets often criss-cross through all of these genres and more, as she guides dancers on journeys which are emotive, thrilling and ultimately revitalising. Based in London, a notable UK-flair for genre-fluidity and diagonal rhythms can be found within her psychedelic techno excursions. Sybil’s DJing has taken her across revered events and venues on the global stage. These include: Sustain Release, Waking Life, Dekmantel, Paral·lel Festival, Positive Education, Butik Festival, Nowadays, De School, Berlin Atonal, WHOLE Festival, Dimensions, La Nature Festival, Mo:Dem, Transcendance (Japan), Miscellania (Melbourne), Harmony (Prague), ZVUK (Kazakhstan) and Discos Movimiento (Mexico City). Whilst Sybil’s club sets are often geared for energetic dance floor exhilaration, her numerous mixes are notable for their highly visual narrative arcs. Subtly accelerating and decelerating between disparate BPMs, she stitches together music from a broad palette of textures, contrasting new finds with long forgotten gems to create memorable journeys which are both rewarding and entrancing. Sybil has released singular mixes for platforms such as Monument, Crack Magazine, Patterns of Perception, Dimensions, Ute, INVEINS and Mysteries of the Deep. Ambient sets form a core part of Sybil’s repertoire, and she also curates the much-loved ambient, drone and experimental mix series, Deep Mind Music, which she has run since 2017.

Apart from his daytime job as a classically trained musician and studied sound engineer, he has been involved in many music and film projects over the last decade, enhancing Berlin’s electronic music scene as a DJ and promoter. While also staying behind the curtain mixing and mastering for renowned artists of all genres, his DJ-Sets range from high BPM banging techno to the subtle beauty of genre classics, never lacking the energy required to set any dancefloor on fire. Being a bit of a traditionalist, the sound of his own productions is deeply connected and rooted to the pioneering sound of Detroit and Chicago. With Fjaak’s Spandau20 label he found the ideal homebase and was featured regularly on their past releases, with a follow up right around the corner.

As a founding member and creative director of SPANDAU20, Elli Acula has played a pivotal role in shaping the label’s distinct sound. • Ron Albrecht

“Ron Albrecht began his musical career in the early nineties.”

    their own biography

    the whole biography
Ron Albrecht began his musical career in the early nineties. His first trips to Berlin clubs like "Tresor", "Bunker" and "E-Werk" made him switch from being a regular music consumer to discovering the field of performing and DJ-ing. Obligatory visits of Germany’s possibly most popular record shops back then, such as the "Hardwax" in Berlin and "Container Records" in Hamburg, led Ron Albrecht to finding is very own style. Inspired by national and international scene experts like Tanith, Rok, Kid Paul and Jeff Mills, just to name a few, it was time to come out into the open for the first time in 1993. Over the years he played his music in almost every club in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, but he didn't stop there. Performances at music festivals such as the Fusion (2000, 2006, 2013), SMS (2005, 2006) and Melt (2000) as well as appearances in many well known clubs, e.g. Tresor Berlin, Ultraschall Munich, Phonodrome and Waagenbau Hamburg, Muna Bad Klosterlausnitz and most recently Berghain Berlin, maintain his musical career. While his sets of modern sound always make for variety, it is important to artist to always enrich his music by refering to the origins of techno and house. Between 1997 and 2002 Ron Albrecht additionally worked as a producer together with his associate Thomas Kuffner, releasing several records under the labels "Sind Records" and "ElektronikParlament". He also worked as co-operator of the "EasytraxxRecordstores" in Schwerin from 1995 to 2006. Above all, his name is still closely connected to the old-established GERBEREI club in Schwerin, which the co-founder, organizer and resident ran from 1994 until its closing in 2013. "Brothers in Mind", a DJ and producer collaboration, is another one of Ron Albrechts projects which he puts into practice together with his longtime friend Stefan Rein. Their newest musical output can be found under their label PURE - "Tatort" Since autumn 2013 Ron Albrecht is booked on Dystopian ( booking@dystopian.de ) Auszeichnungen + Auszeichnungen eingeben
