Growing up amidst Sicilian sound systems and the Italian noise/free party scene, and starting to spin her records during hip-hop open mics in Rome, her sound traces a path between light and shadow, where each style intersects with irregular flows to create a harmonious yet asymmetrical narrative rooted in noise and playing on a different terrain Fukstep, her creature, is a project and label drawing its roots from mutoid and crossover sounds, which arise from the hybridisation of sound system culture. She released “Distortion Detectives”, the first EP made with Broken Audio, on Fukstep and “Quello che non saremo mai” REMIX for PIOVE. on Woodworm / Universal Music Italy. She has brought her sound in reality as Berghain, OHM (Berlin), Le Sucre (Lyon), Le Sample (Paris) Link (Bologna), CTM, Unsound afterparty (KRK), Robot Festival during Elena Colombi’s Osàre Showcase (Bologna) Romaeuropa, Spring Attitude (Rome), Mickey Zoggs (Bristol). She has played B2B with Piezo, DJ Paypal and involved in Small But Hard, SFX, Osàre Edition Showcases. She also performs “Innesta”, her Mediterranean radical sound research and experimentation, in “Palace of Popular Arts and Traditions” of the Roman Museum Of Civilization and in a 1582 Sant'Apollonia basilica, in Rome.
