After moving to UK in her late teens everything from Drum n Bass, Grime, Motown to Indie. Inspired by all those genres, she found her love for dark, fast and heavy Techno. Gforty is a Berlin-based artist originally from Rome, known for his multifaceted approach to electronic music, with a primary focus on techno music. With an impressive body of work, Gforty has continually showcased his passion over the years. He has established his signature sound seamlessly blending contemporary elements with the rich heritage of Detroit techno and Classic house music. Gforty's journey into electronic music began in 2004 when he started composing at the age of 17. Since then, he has honed his skills and accumulated experience through performances at various clubs and events across Italy, Spain, and Germany. His distinctive production style, characterized by dark tribal-oriented undertones, has garnered recognition from international record labels such as Bush Records, Sticky Ground, Bonzai, and Bulletdodge. Notably, his tracks have received extensive support and playtime from influential figures in the techno scene, including Slam, Luke Slater, DJ Bone, Truncate, Len Faki, Laurent Garnier, Richie Hawtin, Ken Ishii, DJ Boris, Ambivalent, and many more. Gforty's work has also been featured in prestigious electronic music magazine Mixmag and on prominent radio shows, including the legendary BBC Radio One. Born in Brescia, a town between Milan and Venice, Matteo Gamba did not grow up in a music-oriented family. Nevertheless, his early curiosity for instruments and sound equipment soon led him toward music. At 20, he discovered the club scene and quickly developed a passion for electronic music production. His first releases gained the support of leading Italian DJs, who played his tracks worldwide. In 2014, he moved to Berlin, where he began organizing parties and showcases for his label, Theatre Records. After performing across Europe, in 2020 he co-founded ABYOND together with Franz Alice Stern, Moon Leap, and Straahl—a label dedicated to electronic music in all its forms, beyond genre boundaries. A versatile producer, Matteo has explored different sounds under multiple aliases, including BEIN (techno) and Groovebox Industry (his debut project).
