American-born, Berlin-based artist fumi is rapidly emerging as one of the most exciting new voices in the techno scene. Under the guise of her grandmother’s name, fumi’s eclectic selection and musical background bellows a playful rendition of old and new school techno, and comes together through quick, high energy mixing. As a member of 240 KM/H, fumi is not only influenced by the techno scene, but draws ideas from many other genres and bubbles, including jazz, hip hop, and RnB. With a dedication to the craft of track selection and mixing, the artist treats her setup as an instrument, composing a new sound through layering. Hailing from Haarlem, HUJUS delivers energetic and groove-driven techno with a modern interpretation. His artist name derives from the Latin phrase Hujus Pace — “prevailing calm” or “inner peace” — reflecting the immersive mental state he aims to achieve through his music and performances. With a musical foundation rooted in piano from an early age, HUJUS developed a broad understanding of rhythm, melody, and composition before transitioning into electronic music production and DJing during his teenage years. After years of experience performing in clubs and refining his sound, the HUJUS project officially emerged in 2022. Since then, HUJUS has steadily built a name within the Dutch techno scene through performances at renowned venues and events including Dockyard Festival, RADION, Levenslang and Melkweg, while continuing to expand his presence internationally. His productions have received support from artists such as Alarico, Adam Beyer and future.666, gaining traction across clubs and festivals worldwide.
