Berlin-based producer and DJ Akirahawks has grown to become a firm favourite in the electronic music scene for lovers of tripped-out sounds from the House, Disco and Electronica sphere. As a DJ Akirahawks has made appearances at many of the lauded clubs in the German capital where he resides, such as Tresor, Berghain/Panorama Bar, Griessmuehle, Salon Zur Wilden Renate and made a name for himself through playing at many of Berlin’s most well known underground queer parties such as Moebel Olfe, The House of Red Doors, Pornceptual, CockTail d'Amore, Schwuz and Berghain’s Lab.oratory. Dee Diggs is a DJ, music producer, and creative multi-hyphenate based in Brooklyn, NY. She is unapologetically black, queer, and a lifelong student of the tenets of House Music. Every single set by this connoisseur feels like a celebration – a celebration of club culture, of queerness, of community, of house and techno, and of house and techno's Black and Queer American innovators. Her energetic, yet deep approach to DJing has seen this Boston to Brooklyn transplant first garnering attention in the queer party scene of NYC and now lighting up dancefloors all over the world with regular European and international tours. Rooted in the belief of the dancefloor as a space of infinite unique individual experiences, Qualia Trax embodies a playful genre-fluid approach to both DJing and curation. A long-time contributor to queer party scenes in Birmingham, London, Amsterdam and Berlin, Qualia Trax is founder, resident and booker for NEST, a queer, sex-positive party series and community in Berlin. This project seeks to 'queer-up' traditionally normative spaces and rituals to make them more accessible and enjoyable for marginalised groups, currently taking place at Kater Blau. Jacob Meehan is a Chicago-raised, Berlin-based DJ, producer, and cultural curator whose sound blends the soulful groove of American house with the untamed edge of Berlin. Rooted in Chicago’s legacy, from WLUW 88.7FM to Gramaphone Records to Smart Bar, his style channels the lessons of Derrick Carter, Frankie Knuckles, and Michael Serafini into playful sets that move between house, techno, disco, and ambient. Since relocating to Berlin in 2016, Meehan has become a vital figure in the city’s queer nightlife as co-curator of Buttons and WHOLE Festival, shaping spaces where curiosity and community collide. Marcel aka MVHY is a Berlin-based selector and queer nightlife maker. Originally from Witten in West Germany, he was first introduced to raving as a teenager at the beloved Goethebunker in Essen. In 2016 Marcel swam east to catch bigger fish in the Berlin Spree. With a smile that could kill, he charmed his way into positions all across Berlin’s nightlife industry. Serving drinks (and sometimes ice cream) he spent weekend after weekend soaking in hundreds of hours of live sets, buying the music he loved along the way. Eventually, Marcel’s picnic basket was full to the brim with Garage, Detroit and Chicago-tinged house music begging to be shared. It seemed time to lay out a big blanket and serve. During the lockdown, while the clubs were closed Marcel became MVHY, the 4/4 swing, vocal chop, swish swish bish on the decks.
