Cook Strummer is a Belgian artist whose music is defined by the right combination of rhythms and melodies, transcended by his own voice. It draws on an evocative blend of the organic and the electronic, a fresh mix of drum machines, guitars and synthesizers and channels his country’s famous cold wave movement but adorned with elements of downtempo, house and progressive. Now Berlin based, his first album “The Fall” was released in 2018 on LOK Recordings. Since then, he released a well supported EP - “Some Feelings” - on Mood Music records in October 2019, and got early support from Laurent Garnier, Adam Port, Mandy, Ame and many others. Releases are planned for the next months to come on institutions. “The Schumann resonances (SR) are a set of spectrum peaks in the extremely low frequency (ELF) portion of the Earth's electromagnetic field spectrum.”
their own biography
the whole biography
The Schumann resonances (SR) are a set of spectrum peaks in the extremely low frequency (ELF) portion of the Earth's electromagnetic field spectrum. Schumann resonances are global electromagnetic resonances, generated and excited by lightning discharges in the cavity formed by the Earth's surface and the ionosphere. Lightning discharges are considered to be the primary natural source of Schumann resonance excitation; lightning channels behave like huge antennas that radiate electromagnetic energy at frequencies below about 100 kHz. These signals are very weak at large distances from the lightning source, but the Earth–ionosphere waveguide behaves like a resonator at ELF frequencies and amplifies the spectral signals from lightning at the resonance frequencies. The real Earth–ionosphere waveguide is not a perfect electromagnetic resonant cavity. Losses due to finite ionosphere electrical conductivity lower the propagation speed of electromagnetic signals in the cavity, resulting in a resonance frequency that is lower than would be expected in an ideal case, and the observed peaks are wide. In addition, there are a number of horizontal asymmetries – day-night difference in the height of the ionosphere, latitudinal changes in the Earth's magnetic field, sudden ionospheric disturbances, polar cap absorption, variation in the Earth radius of ± 11 km from equator to geographic poles, etc. that produce other effects in the Schumann resonance power spectra.Their RA profile lists Get Physical Music, Traum Schallplatten, Moodmusic, Lebensfreude Records and 6 more.Recently at Kater, Golden Gate, Renate · often with ACID BOGEN, HOPPER, EXTRA, none of them here that night

Since then he has been a familiar face playing regularly at Berlin clubs like Katerblau and Sisyphos but also on festivals like Garbicz, also expanding to many shows worldwide. His music takes the crowd on a journey through a wide range of genres, from tribal to deep techno to indie dance and also you can hear him adding a mix of oriental sound, which he grew up with, on his sets. With his new EP being released from Light my Fire in early 2023 and we can expect to hear more and see him explore the world.Recently at Astra Kulturhaus, Birgit, Süss War Gestern · often with ACID BOGEN, HOPPER, Bo Irion, none of them here that night

the whole biography
Raised in Wuerzburg, he made his first experiences in electronic music in Munich, where he played at well-known clubs as Harry Klein, Bahnwaerter Thiel & Bob Beaman. With his diversified style for DJ sets, sometimes of abstract origin, he creates a symbiosis similar to the situation on the dance floor with perfectly balanced tracks. No one can promise in which direction it will continue, crossovers between rolling deephouse and oriental breakbeat are not unusual with this man. After moving to Berlin in 2021, his style direction has changed more and more to ,,IndieDance’’ and ,,DarkDisco’’ and still counts as his main genre today. He loves the variety in his sets, but above all the influence of special elements, always underlined with an addiction for Rhythm & Groove. No matter where this all-rounder stands at the decks, the crowd is dancing. Much to the delight of people who are discerning and open to new emotions on the subject of music.Their RA profile lists Jannowitz Records.Recently at Birgit, Süss War Gestern, Ritter Butzke · often with Vlad Yaki, Bøgen, Stereokultur, none of them here that night
