Whether it’s through his razor-sharp basslines or relentless beats, one thing is certain—when Mika hits the decks, you won’t be sitting still. Mika’s journey began behind the scenes, working as a studio assistant for band recordings, but his passion for electronic music quickly took center stage. Over the past nine years, he’s honed his skills and carved out a name as one of Berlin's most exciting talents. Not just content to make music, Mika is one of the founders of the Polyamor, an infamous collective that embodies the rebellious and exhilarating spirit of the next generation of club-goers. He’s also one of the brains behind the Berlin Dance Music Event (BDME), Berlin’s very own industry conference for electronic music, proving that Mika is not only shaping sounds but also leading conversations in the scene. What really sets Mika apart is his signature style: euphoric build-ups, punchy drops, and vocals that get under your skin. With releases like “Vibrations” and “Millenium Bitch”, Mika has made serious waves, catching the attention of top-tier DJs. His latest collaboration with Part Time Killer on Teletech, has been spun by the who's who of the scene. In the past few years, he’s graced stages at some of the biggest venues and most influential brands, including Teletech Festival, Unreal, Watergate Berlin, Mondo Disko, and Nordstern Basel. For Mika, the mission is simple: to get you moving. His tracks aren’t just for listening—they’re built to make you feel something. He’s a master of crafting tunes that take over your body, flooding the dancefloor with energy that no one can resist. If you hear Mika Heggemann’s music, expect to dance—hard. Looking ahead, 2025 is set to be Mika’s biggest year yet. With major festival appearances, collaborations that are out of this world, and performances at the most relevant clubs in the industry, he’s on track to solidify his place as a tastemaker for the new wave of club culture. His vision? To shape the dancefloor, and, in doing so, define the sound of an entire generation. Mika’s connection with his fans is pure electricity. With every performance, he delivers a high-energy set that leaves no one untouched, drawing people in with his infectious personality and refusal to take things too seriously—unless we’re talking about the music. Because when it comes to sound, Mika’s all about quality. So, if you’re looking for a night where you can’t stop moving, and where every beat hits harder than the last, you’ll find it with Mika Heggemann. The future of club music is here, and it’s unapologetically loud, bouncy, and unforgettable.Recently at RSO.BERLIN, ZENNER, OST · often with Cleopard2000, SATYS FYRE, Trancemaster Krause, none of them here that night

“"Dr.Waumiau" is a DJ, photographer and author based in Berlin.”
their own biography
the whole biography
"Dr.Waumiau" is a DJ, photographer and author based in Berlin. His musical journey began long before his current sound, starting with self-released mashup projects and genre-blending DJ sets at a time when musical openness wasn’t a buzzword yet. After several years away from the DJ booth — spent working in photography, writing and editorial projects — he returned to the decks in 2025 by conscious choice. Not as a restart, but as a continuation with sharpened awareness for spaces, dynamics and what truly carries a crowd through the night. Musically, Dr.Waumiau moves between Trance, Hard Trance, Hard Groove and bouncy techno. His sets are energetic, melodic and playful, prioritizing flow over formulas and shared moments over self-promotion. Serious euphoria matters more to him than technical display. Sometimes, he also slows things down with tech house and more familiar groove-based sounds. As a former member of the Berlin-based collective Stromausfall, he was also involved in shaping community-driven events where safe space, awareness and joy on the dancefloor are foundational rather than optional. Since May 2026, he has been a resident DJ and proud member of NOXYS Berlin. Dr.Waumiau’s signature remains clear: driving, emotional and dancefloor-oriented — with a subtle wink and no fear of feeling too much. As one half of the duo “Frequenzstörung” (frequency disruption), he started his DJ journey in spring 2025 and has since played at events such as Mystic Creatures Festival in Poland and the Day of Club Culture at Humboldthain Club in Berlin. In his performances he leans into contrasts: tightly mixed bounce rhythms that erupt into soaring, melodic trance passages, sudden left turns that trigger a “what just happened?” reaction, and playful details that reward dancers who stay locked in from start to finish. Whether he is building long, floating transitions in the early hours or pushing the system into full-throttle mode at peak time, FAballert aims to turn the floor into a space of raw energy and dreamlike, weightless vibes, always searching for new combinations of genres rather than repeating the obvious.Recently at Humboldthain Club, Amvb Hinterhaus, Ritter Butzke · often with MIMI404, OnlyWithYou, multivitaminmarie, none of them here that night
