He plays elegant, groove-driven, dance music that inspires movement and is a lover of the dance floor and all it represents. Born and raised in New York City, he now calls Berlin home. Prior chapters in Seattle and Bretagne, and a thread that still runs through San Francisco. His influences include the bittersweet tail of the pre-Giuliani NYC club scene, the Detroit/Berlin axis, and the relationship between contemporary classical and electronic music. He is also a sailor, photographer, and audio engineer.Recently at Atemporal, Club der Visionaere, Kater · often with Dragana, Viktor Sloth, Jeena, none of them here that night
“Topper grew up in Turin (IT) surrounded by substances and tunes typical of a hippie-kind of environment.”
their own biography
the whole biography
Topper grew up in Turin (IT) surrounded by substances and tunes typical of a hippie-kind of environment. Jefferson Airplane, Grateful Dead and Pink Floyd were his daily milk. His dad, the "hippie", had a huge influence on him, and introduced his curious kid into the magic world of music and psychedelic culture. That’s the reason why he felt like he was born for music. Right at the beginning of the 3rd millennium he decided to move to Berlin. Since then, Topper is experimenting with his sound, discovering the hidden shapes of electronic and recorded music, meanwhile performing as dj with several Berlin crews (Klangsucht above all) and at several underground parties all around the city. Since 2009 he’s resident with Daniele Papini at Club der Visionäre, hosting the infamous Noisy Glance party. Together with Daniele he joined Sleep is Commercial and became one of the djs/producers on which the label's sound in productions and parties is focused on. He's resident in all Sleep is Commercial parties in Berlin. After his sound engineering studies and some years of deep studio engagement, in 2014 he released his first LP “Down by the River” and a handful of very well received EPs and remixes. Moving to the infamous Pausenraum studio was the definitive shift into a jam based creative process through a hardware setup, whose outcome will be the foundation of 3 labels to be started in 2015. A contemporary voodoo child...Their RA profile lists Serialism Records, Meander, Sleep is Commercial, 31337 Records and 6 more.Recently at Hoppetosse, Club der Visionaere, Golden Gate · often with Daniele Papini, Triptease, Sibil, none of them here that night
“A careful and sublime selector, Yoshitaca has been playing records for over two decades.”
their own biography
the whole biography
A careful and sublime selector, Yoshitaca has been playing records for over two decades. Originally from Japan, he now lives in Berlin producing, curating, and doing what he most loves – DJing. Constantly searching for that magical moment, when the DJ and audience both are enveloped by a rich, warm, and surprising sound, he regularly carries the audience on a sonic journey. His story began in his mid-teens, influenced by Japanese street culture and naturally gravitated towards digging and finding rare records and sounds. Not constrained by any genre, he is fearless in his search for the ideal, long mix which always leaves joy on the dance floor. After several years as a resident DJ for Sunday afternoon parties at Womb (Club) in Tokyo, he joined forces with the Fasten Musique crew to create a label and event brand. With this new crew, he brought international DJs to Tokyo and started to produce and remix for various famous labels. After relocating to Berlin, he started to tour and play around the world at various iconic venues. From playing in secret after parties on the coast of Croatia to playing large warehouse venues, his play style and track selection always gets the crowd grooving and dancing until hours pass by in seconds. Also pushing the boundaries of music production, he created his own label Phonik in 2018. Starting with his own EP “Thoughts or Feelings” he displays and presents to the world his own unique views on house music. Both his productions and DJ sets showcase his emotional depth, his masterful control of mixing, and most importantly his own sonic magic.Their RA profile lists Fasten Musique, MICRA and Phonik.Recently at Mom's Limousine Service, arkaoda Berlin, Hoppetosse · often with Kenji Tazaki, Spacetravel, Max Davis, none of them here that night
“Clovis found his calling behind the decks from the age of 19.”
their own biography
the whole biography
Clovis found his calling behind the decks from the age of 19. Almost two decades later, his deep passion for music has never waned, having played regularly and soaked up the influences of some of dance music's most iconic scenes—New York, Bucharest, and now Berlin, where he’s a resident at the legendary Club Der Visionaere. His journey through the underground has given him a deep-rooted connection to the core of dance music and an acute ear for quality across all genres. Whether he’s tearing up a dark warehouse at 4 a.m. in LA, setting a vibe with chilled hip hop in places like Kasheme in Zurich, or compiling one of his signature jazz podcasts, Clovis captivates audiences with his versatility. Range, eclecticism and willingness to embrace the unconventional have become hallmarks of his approach, reflecting a DJ who prioritizes mood, context, and atmosphere over a predictable formula. In doing so, Clovis continues to evolve as an artist, bringing something distinctive and timeless to every set he plays.Their RA profile lists Adjunct, LesIzmo:r, Blaq Records, Culprit and 4 more.Recently at Kater, Club der Visionaere, Sonnenraum · often with Cesar Merveille, Matt Foley, Chaker, none of them here that night
