Known for her dynamic sets, she has performed across Germany and neighboring countries such as France, Belgium, Switzerland, and Italy, igniting floors from intimate bars and clubs to festival stages. She seamlessly blends new wave, post-punk, trip-hop, dub, industrial, and krautrock into her sound. Originally from Tokyo, she has called Berlin home since 2018. Her debut EP, Dancing PIKA PIKA (Chill Mountain, Osaka), marked the start of her sonic journey, followed by her first album, Morphing Polaroids. She has also contributed to compilations from R.I.O (Berlin), Subject To Restrictions Discs (Zurich), and Emotional Especial (UK). Her second album, Dream In Dream, out on March 14, 2025 from Bureau B, invites listeners deeper into her ever-evolving soundscape.Recently at arkaoda Berlin, O Tannenbaum, Block1 · often with André Pahl, Bad Boy Baader, L. Menqui is a berlin based music enthusiast always on the hunt for musical treasures ranging from obscure disco over synth pop, wave, proto house and many other fields. Besides sharing his music from behind the decks he has also been involved in a variety of different projects – f.e. by taking care of the newly established R-i-O Label or by contributing a track to the new Serious Trouble EP as Dolphins togehter with Nadia D'Alò and Benedikt Frey. While Menqui’s mixtapes mostly invite you to float and dream away, he also feels at home in a more dancefloor oriented environment.Their RA profile lists Planet Almanac and R.i.O..Recently at Gaswerksiedlung, Sameheads, arkaoda Berlin · often with Ondula, Oscar der Winzige, Diamin, none of them here that night
