Furotica, formerly known as Furor Exótica, is an Argentinian dancefloor-oriented duo from Buenos Aires, formed in 2014 by vocalist Barbie Garbage and producer Ric Piccolo. They have five powerful EPs and multiple V/A collaborations on labels such as Bordello A Parigi, Toy Tonics, Tom Tom Disco, and Boots & Legs. Their latest release, Rebirth Is Hardwire (2025), the duo shed their former skin to reveal a sleeker, more menacing incarnation. One where vintage synth-wave collides headfirst with razor-edged Italo-disco, wired tight with a delirious, psychedelic charge. Since the project began, they have toured extensively across South America, Europe, and Asia, performing at various clubs and festivals worldwide. Furotica has been remixed by Franz Scala, Kay-chi. Hailing from Athens, Hara Katsiki brings a sophisticated sonic palette and perceptive ear to dance floors. Effortlessly sweeping you into the astral, Katsiki entwines her compelling cosmic selections with Italo, Cosmic Disco, Indie-Dance, New Beat, Techno, Synth-Wave and infatuating rarities. She is a member of the Berlin-based label Wrong Era Records, a sub-label from Slow Motion Records and a dependable force within Berlin’s revered scene, which she now calls home. With regular slots at the formidable likes of Panorama bar, Renate, About Blank and KitKat Club, she is a strong figure within the nocturnal city and parties across the globe. (English version is below) Bacon Chanは日本出身のDJで、彼の音楽への情熱は幼少期から芽生えました。親の聞く音楽に影響を受け、J-Popの曲をカセットテープに録音し、自身のコンピレーションを作成するなど、早くから音楽への愛情を深めていました。学生時代にはギターを手にし、コンサートと共にクラブへの足繁く通うことで、ダンスミュージックの魅力に引き込まれていきました。 2003年を迎えると、ダンスミュージックの魅力に取り憑かれ、レコード収集を始めました。2005年には友人の東京で行われるパーティーで初めてDJとしての経験を積み、その後は友人たちを通じて小規模なクラブでの演奏活動を始めました。 2012年、Bacon Chanは東京のクラブで毎月のペースでパーティーを開催し、その独自の音楽スタイルをアピールしていきました。2013年秋、彼はドイツ・ベルリンに渡り、小規模なクラブを中心にヨーロッパ各地でDJとしてのキャリアを積んでいます。彼の音楽スタイルは明るく陽気でありながら、メロディカルな要素とノスタルジックな感覚を融合させています。ディスコ、イタロ、ハウスを中心に、ファンク、ジャジー、アンビエント、ヌディスコ、イタロディスコ、テックハウスなど、多彩なジャンルを独自のテイストとアイデアで融合させ、ダンスフロアにグルーヴとバイブスを生み出すことに定評があります。 Bacon Chanはその音楽的センスと独自のアプローチにより、国際的なクラブシーンで高い評価を受け、聴衆を楽しませ続けています。 Music is Vitamin for Life. Bacon Chan is a DJ from Japan whose passion for music began at an early age. Influenced by the music his parents listened to, he developed a love of music early on, recording J-pop songs on cassette tape and creating his own compilations. During his school years, he picked up a guitar and was drawn to dance music by frequenting clubs as well as concerts. As 2003 arrived, he became obsessed with dance music and started collecting records, and in 2005 he gained his first experience as a DJ at a friend's party in Tokyo, after which he started playing in smaller clubs through friends. In 2012, Bacon Chan started to showcase his unique musical style by hosting monthly parties in Tokyo clubs, and in autumn 2013 he moved to Berlin, Germany, where he has been building his DJ career around Europe, mainly in smaller clubs. His musical style is bright and joyful, yet combines melodic elements with a nostalgic feel. With a focus on disco, italo and house, he has a reputation for creating grooves and vibes on the dancefloor by blending diverse genres such as funk, jazzy, ambient, nudisco, italo-disco and tech-house with his own unique tastes and ideas.
