Asphodèle aka Cassandra Momah is a multi-disciplinary artist, DJ, and producer based in Los Angeles with her second home being in Paris. Her sounds and artistic expressions are heavily influenced by the need to alchemize shadows into joy and light. Her sets are almost always rooted in African and electronic club sounds. She blends techno, afro house, baile funk, drum and bass, jungle, coupé décalé, and other experimental soundscapes. Kontronatura's sound is focused on percussive, hypnotic and fast-paced beats with historically black roots – Dancehall, Kuduro, Baile Funk, Techno, Bubbling House, Global Bass, among others. Along the past year, as a resident of one of the biggest underground parties in Brazil (MAMBA NEGRA), Kontronatura travelled around Brazil, Latin America and Europe presenting his sound in events such as Kode (RJ), ODD + Bassiani (SP), Universo Paralello (SSA), Banana Frita (AM), Masterplano (BH) , Hiedrah Club de Baile (BSAS) , Bahidorá (CDMX), Herrensauna (BER), Fusion Festival (BER), Tought Act (MCR) Club Raum Pride Festival (AMS) and +++. In addition to that, his mixes aired on several notable platforms such as Boiler Room, Rinse France, HOR and others, being selected twice by Resident Advisor as mix of the day at 2021 and 2022. Kontronatura took a liking to breaking expectations and messing with the listener's imagination, believing that the dancing body is free and sees the dance floor as a power to purge colonial violence. As a transmasculine person, understands that his body has political action in response to the lack of representation in the scene, in which trans bodies have little or no access. Cultivating a substantial and diverse audience does not always come easy. Yet it appears very natural to artist like LITNEY WORLDWIDE. LITNEY is a queer afro Latinx, underground DJ who plays rave certified bangers with influences from dancehall, dembow, baile funk and Jersey bounce. The Toronto-based DJ is proving to be one of the city’s most celebrated entertainers amongst local youth, having amassed her following by playing along side some of Toronto’s biggest names as well as consistently providing eccentric sets to dance floors across the world including infamous events such as Boiler Room, “MoreMoreMore” Brooklyn, and The iconic Montreal based party, Moonshine. For the last few years, Saint Nia has been grabbing Helsinki nightlife by the throat. First emerging post-pandemic as a part of the collective Sluts Against Techno (S.A.T.) and slowly working her way into the greater club-o-sphere. With a mission to push queer and BIPOC artists to the forefront, she has become a respected bridge-builder between communities. As a resident DJ at Hoe_mies, one of the most renowned FLINTA*/QUEER parties in Berlin, as well as the co-founder of party series BIG SEXXY BASS, she continues to pursue on that mission. Her expansive range of sound is highly influenced by the sounds of Latin America, the Ballroom community, and UK Bass, typically tied together with house-y percussion.
