Leaning into the hypnotic, the tension-building, and the euphoric release—Lolsnake (she/they) does not simply play to a room, she creates it. With a fluid, genre-defiant approach, her sets move between the reduced and the raw, the dramatic and the unpredictable, stirring up heady atmospheres and hypnotic moods on the dancefloor. Driving rhythms and intricate sound design sit alongside moments of startling emotional depth — a sonic signature that is at once intense and deeply feeling, cerebral and magnetically unpredictable. A regular at Berghain, Lolsnake is also the founder of Weeeirdos, a queer platform that champions subversive joy, curiosity, and community. As a DJ and visual artist, her multifaceted background fuels a perspective that is both boundary-pushing and deeply rooted in connection — her sets a constant balance between classic dancefloor accessibility and a desire to push at the edges of genre convention. In 2025, Lolsnake took her sound global, performing at Bassiani (Tbilisi), Basement NYC, WHOLE Festival, and returned to Berghain for several celebrated sets that reflected her evolving sonic palette. Her genre-crossing energy has also been showcased in guest mixes for Mixmag, DJ Mag, The Lot Radio, and Crack Magazine. Weeeirdos, which began in 2017 as a hybrid event combining live music, performance and visual art, has since become one of Berlin's most vital queer dance platforms. In 2023, it moved from OHM to a residency at Säule (Berghain). That same year, Boiler Room invited Lolsnake to curate a Weeeirdos live stream from Berlin's dungeon-like Nåpoleon Komplex. Lolsnake has since been asked to curate key events on the Berghain Mainfloor, The Ground (Space) Miami, Radion Amsterdam, and more. Born in California to Iraqi parents and raised in Oakland, Lolsnake's musical roots trace back to classical training in clarinet, saxophone, and bass clarinet. Her teenage years were shaped by a love of Depeche Mode, Underworld, The Knife, and the Arabic tapes of Oum Kalthoum and Fairouz. A move to Manchester in 2010 to study neuroscience immersed her in the UK's DIY rave scene. Berlin followed in 2014, where she found a deep sense of belonging in the city's queer nightlife. After a decade in Berlin, Lolsnake's sets have matured into shimmering constellations of rhythm — reduced and raw one moment, warm and euphoric the next, with mischievous curveballs at just the right moment. Rakans, is a Dj, Artist, and a visionary. Orientalist, Experimental and eclectic approaches to Arts and Music make his Live Sets and sound choices unique and wild. Rakans is a DJ also the founder of Rawmantique party in Dresden, Rawmantique is a Safe Space that’s main aim is collecting the alternative underground kids and giving them a space for explorations whether they’re sexual, social or psychological. Rakans’s flamboyant decisions with Fashion and Music brought him to the center of attention from local and European collectives. Rakans performed on main floors of multiple reputable clubs such as Sektor (DD) Wilde Renate (BLN) Depot (Paris) KitKat (BLN) and multiple others. His work and background in Art Direction gives him a love to the Aesthetics, although has a touch of darkness, but rather full of life and imagination also- which is noticeable through his Art Works and productions. Rakans’s journey has started from Beirut, a City that’s moving like the tides, full of changes and instability. Between the Oriental Mosques and churches and the western Malls and Fashion brands he has previously experimented with avant-guard and pop music, performed in amazing clubs of Beirut such as “The Grand Factory”, participated in “ReddBull Music Academy”, released an EP under the name of LÜJAH, the album was written about in many publications and local news papers under the title of “The Unpredictable Hurricane: Rakans".
