“Raised far from the gravitational pull of dance music hubs, Dallas-born Decoder developed his craft outside traditional DJ circuits, shaping a singular voice defined by independence that remains central to his sound today.”

    their own biography

    the whole biography
Raised far from the gravitational pull of dance music hubs, Dallas-born Decoder developed his craft outside traditional DJ circuits, shaping a singular voice defined by independence that remains central to his sound today. First opening Fruity Loops at the age of ten, Decoder's relationship with electronic music began free from expectation or institutional pressure. His early productions were guided as much by video game soundtracks, synth-pop and rhythm as by techno itself, resulting in music that is light and inquisitive. That playfulness has endured. Over time, his productions have evolved, with a distinctive sci-fi-feeling that's grounded in the techno's founding principles. Drum-led, full-bodied and often carrying a quiet melancholia, his discography draws a clear lineage from Detroit techno's futurist restraint and experimental traditions, all the while still resisting easy categorisation. Influences range from the microtonal explorations of Aleksi Perälä to the hypnotic patience associated with Perlon-era minimalism and Ricardo Villalobos, all filtered through an instinctive sense of play. Early support from Richie Hawtin and Jeff Mills affirmed his commitment to this direction, recognition many artists work years to achieve. In the DJ booth, Decoder treats performance as a direct extension of the studio. Sets are often built largely from unreleased material, functioning closer to live testing grounds than traditional DJ performances—ideas are trialled, stripped back and reshaped in real time with close attention to the room. After formative experiences at warehouse parties and renegade events across Texas, he began touring internationally while still in his teens, logging sets at the likes of De School, FOLD and Watergate. 2025 marked a significant turning point, with an acclaimed set at Waking Life and his debut at Berghain. Alongside releasing on established labels, Decoder runs two imprints: Codec, a community-focused platform for collaborative projects, and TOCA, a more purist, physical-only label emphasising longevity and restraint. His forthcoming album Prakasa, released on Planet X, represents several years of studio development and reflects his continued interest in cohesion across time, genre and form. Now operating internationally, Decoder represents a measured reinvention of techno, one that looks forward without severing ties to the past. Retaining the independence forged in Dallas warehouses and DIY parties, he remains an artist shaped not by trends, but by curiosity, patience and a disciplined belief in the power of simplicity.

There’s an ineffable feeling that one has after a Jesse G set, often evidenced by an upward turning of a lip corner, a child-like sense of discovering something new, or a renewed understanding of the word “fun.” Proficient at working a crowd, Jesse G wants you to feel whatever you want to feel during her sets, as long as it’s something. Known for her energetic, genre-spanning sets that surprise and delight crowds, the Berlin-based Techno DJ’s big sound is a playful wide range medley of deep, metallic and trippy to groovy, jacking, percussive sounding Techno with diverse rhythms and UK bass influence. Growing up in Wiesbaden, Germany as a child of Filipino and Sicilian immigrants, Jesse found music to be a lingua franca that connected her with her surroundings. Her early introduction to music was through R&B, Italo Pop, and Rap and her deep curiosity and engagement with music in all its forms still guides her today. Describing DJing in her words as „a way to express how she hears the world“, her exhilarating sets borrow from a diverse range of sonic spaces and one can often detect influences from different genres such as bass music, breakbeat, house, reggaeton and dancehall alongside her meticulous and expansive feel for varied techno grooves and rhythms. Her distinctive sound is also informed by an encyclopedic understanding of electronic music and her craft honed over her nearly six years as an integral member of the staff at the hallowed Berlin record store, Hard Wax. In addition to holding down residencies at RSO Berlin and Tresor, she has brought her sound to venues such as De School, Berghain, Open Ground, and Blitz Club; and graced festivals including ADE Het Weekend and Nachtiville.

MARRØN is always trying to exceed the limits of himself and the crowd, with his fast but extremely rhythmic sound driven by his roots. Highly inspired by the powerful and strong-willed Marrons who freed themselves from slavery to live freely in the primeval forest of Surinam. Starting his musical evolution with Afro Deep, characterized by its African beats and used these elements to connect with techno music. The freedom and diversity of techno persuaded him to really dig into the underground scene and create a name of his own. This sound contains African groove and a powerful but atmospheric techno sound with which he aims to hypnotize the crowd to stay on the dancefloor for hours.

“Pink Concrete describes himself as someone who ‘does pink touches to concrete music.’”

    their own biography

    the whole biography
Pink Concrete describes himself as someone who ‘does pink touches to concrete music.’ This can be seen in his production and his style of mixing, as he is not afraid to add something light-hearted to techno music, which is a genre often understood as being quite serious. However, he still tends to travel through a range of emotions; there’s always a hint of melancholia in his sets. Originally from Istanbul, his interest in mixing began in high school, where he began his education in production . In 2015 he moved to Prague, where he has stayed ever since. The underground electronic music scene in Prague is full of life and creativity, and his contributions include a small underground party series called Kave, a club night series called Anormal, and most recently hereandthere, which curates overnight happenings through sound, light, and space in temporary, one night locations.

  • Rødhåd

“Rødhåd has been shaping his deep and driving signature sound for almost two decades since his early days in Berlin’s off-grid party scene.”

    their own biography

    the whole biography
Rødhåd has been shaping his deep and driving signature sound for almost two decades since his early days in Berlin’s off-grid party scene. Starting with his first residency at the long-defunct Zementgarten in 2006, he went on playing venues and festivals of all sizes and magnitudes. Known for relentless DJ sets that meld uncompromising techno with highly emotional atmospheres and soundscapes, he’s managed to have a major impact on the world’s most cherished floors while remaining passionately independent. Rødhåd continues to abstain from excessive hype, staying very much connected to the community that formed him. In the last years he deepened his interest in the communal aspect of electronic music even further, curating excessive multipersonal live jams at places like Berghain or Dekmantel Festival. By launching Dystopian in 2009, first as a party series and later as a label, he made a distinct mark on Berlin’s techno landscape through a raw and honest vision, that felt true amid the city’s more dark and industrial edge. With releases from the likes of Alex.Do, Recondite, Distant Echoes or Rødhåd himself, Dystopian cemented itself as one of Berlins major techno trademarks throughout the decade of its existence. In 2017 Rødhåd released his debut LP Anxious, demonstrating his versatility as producer, spanning straightforward techno to dim and dusky ambient tunes. With his latest imprint, WSNWG, he created a platform for collaborative explorations in sound and texture with long-time companions and newfound friends alike. While the label’s core output remains a steady stream of dancefloor oriented 12”s it also released full-length albums that venture deeper into experimental and exploratory territories. The concept album series Out Of Place Artefacts (with Vril) takes the listener on a journey through deep introspection and otherworldly land- and soundscapes, while always always alluding to the rich tradition of electronic music in an abstract and mediated rather than direct way. Released in 2022, the LP In Vere (with JakoJako) departs from the characteristically dark and melancholic undertone of Rødhåd’s work, delving into lush, organic textures and ethereal, arpeggiated themes, also implementing elements of electronica. The sublabel WSNWG Back To Zero is devoted to solo releases and compilations, launched in 2020 through the highly acclaimed LP Mood, comprising archive material from 2017/2018, marking Rødhåd’s first purely ambient and experimental release, free of any dancefloor ambition. Over the years, Rødhåd has proved himself as a proponent of true craftsmanship, applying the same rigour to his work in the studio as to selecting and mixing records. Remaining hands-on, and keeping a down-to-earth mentality - steering clear of spectacle - has made him a long-established staple in the electronic music community.
Their RA profile lists Cocoon Recordings, CLR, Token, Wolfskuil Records and 6 more.

    their own biography

    the whole biography
His long-standing relationship with the notorious Techno institution has formed the backdrop to his success, providing an invaluable platform that has allowed him to become one of the most in-demand DJ-producers of the current generation. Those who have witnessed him perform will note not only the diversity in his track selection, but also his ability to create a room rather than just play to it. Though intense and powerful, his DJ output reflects a certain kind of fervour, capturing an artistry and emotion that can often appear absent from the Techno genre. He also possesses a wonderful understanding of how to adapt his music to the circumstances, a competence that means he can be found at both large-scale festivals and small intimate club settings around the world. Much of his early career was marked by marathon sets – a signature that played a considerable role in nurturing his skills and reputation – but even the more compressed sets he shares today evidence an intricate narrative and sense of flow that defines him as a DJ. It was these inherent abilities that led him to compile the fabric 66 compilation in 2012, before winning the BBC Radio 1’s Essential Mix of the Year award in 2015. Over recent years his focus has been on touring – but his early works, most of which were released via Ostgut Ton, have become landmarks in the imprint’s history. 2009’s “Dawning”, the first of his collaborations with Marcel Dettmann, kickstarted the label itself and remains a stand-out track in its discography. Other releases of particular note include “Subzero”, taken from his Before One EP, and the Compression Session EP (2010). For many, however, it is his album One (2009) that best captures Klock’s talents as a producer. Still today, this seminal record forms a reference point for all Techno long-players. His skills as a remixer have also seen him rework tracks by a wide variety of artists, including Kerri Chandler, Depeche Mode, Robert Hood and Kenny Larkin. Additionally, Klock also runs Klockworks, a label he founded in 2006 as a home for his more raw and minimal productions. The focus, however, has shifted over recent years, with the label becoming a medium for him to present his more diverse personal tastes and support developing talents. Trevino, DVS1 and Etapp Kyle have all released on the imprint during the earlier stages of their careers. The growth of the label has been aided by a series of showcases at various international locations, including London’s Village Underground, New York, Barcelona, Detroit and Berlin, with more on the horizon.

Budino is an Italian DJ and producer who has been based in Berlin since 2012. Every free moment is devoted to digging for new music and exploring fresh ways to weave her discoveries together. Her sets unfold like psychedelic tapestries, blending industrial beats, tribal percussion, and rich sonic textures. Over the years, Budino has refined her craft through unique edits and reworks that bring new life and versatility to the rare gems she tirelessly unearths. After a decade playing Berlin’s most iconic queer dance floors, her deep connection with New York City led her to being part of the Gloria Danger parties. In addition to her work behind the decks and in the studio, Budino was invited to curate the fourth edition of Love International Festival’s compilation series, The Sound of Love International. Budino has performed at some of the world’s most legendary clubs and festivals, including Panorama Bar, Fabric, Club Raum, Basement, Horst Festival, Houghton, Dekmantel Selectors, Making Time, as well as delivering exciting back-to-back sets with Tiga and Ivan Smagghe. their own biography

    the whole biography
CHLOE’s transversal approach to deejaying has always been an integral part of her creative path, feeding her work as a producer (and vice versa). Since her years at the Pulp,a mythical underground venue and haven of inclusivity even before this word was part of today’s music vocabulary, CHLOE has helped define the transformative power of a club and the emotional power of a DJ set. Away from the over-commercialisation of electronic music, she has championed a versatile and out-of- the-box electronic music practice that inspires fans and artists alike. In recent years, she has played at major festivals (Mutek, Burning Man, Sonar, DGTL, Nuits Sonores) as well as holding a residency at Rex Club. Her sets are a unique experience, as CHLOE often performs in all night long formats that allow her to take the audience on unexpected journeys. She manages to create unique connections between various musical aesthetics, physical and mental sensations. An oblique way of approaching the dj set without leaving the audience on the sidelines, which has made her reputation with dancers all over the world. The production of tracks that have become iconic has allowed her to further establish her approach. The Dawn (on the Endless Revisions album, Nemone’s favourite record on BBC6) manages to develop a long melody between minimal techno and new wave, tinged with the heritage of Steve Reich. The more frontal Mars 500 (Permanent Vacation) and its early house accents bathed in psychedelia or Night Rider (DGTL), an emotional minimal wave played with a techno fever, are other unstoppable tracks that the public could taste on record before appreciating their power on the dancefloor. She has also shone in her remix work for artists as varied as Metronomy, Etienne Daho, Malik Djoudi, Pantha du Prince, Ezechiel Pailhès, Feu Chatterton, Mirwais, to whom she has offered inventive reworks bathed as much in her approach as a producer as in her DJ skills. At the helm of her own label, Lumière Noire Records, capable of performing in clubs as well as festivals, in museums or halls dedicated to contemporary music, CHLOE is a key artist on the current scene, where each track she plays contributes to lifting us a little further away from reality and prefabricated schemes.

With over a decade of DJing, record collecting, and formative years in Berlin, she has developed a deeply intuitive approach to storytelling through music. Whether in intimate listening sessions or on festival stages, her sets move patiently between rhythm, texture, and emotion, always carrying a quiet sense of depth and magnetism. Her appearances at Glastonbury, Primavera Sound, and Dimensions, alongside sets at Panorama Bar, Robert Johnson, and Public Records, have established her as a regular presence across some of electronic music’s most respected stages. Beyond the dance floor, the same curatorial instinct has shaped soundtracks for award-winning films and international fashion projects.

“Xiaolin's elusive, dreamlike sonic world treads the delicate balance between light and dark, tension and release.”

    their own biography

    the whole biography
Xiaolin's elusive, dreamlike sonic world treads the delicate balance between light and dark, tension and release. Inspired by sounds from the mid 80’s-early 00’s, and driven by her love for film, anime, nature and French impressionism, Xiaolin’s atmospheric, analog synth-heavy productions range from gritty acid and hypnotic tech house with earthy percussion to tripped-out electro, shimmering techno and dubby downtempo ambience that invoke feelings of romantic adventure. Despite her ever-evolving nature, Xiaolin’s ethereal-yet-grounded sound remains a signature throughout all productions, combining soft imagination with raw power. Xiaolin is sensitive to the dance floor and curates a dynamic journey unbound by genre, digging deep in order to discover unlikely connections. Her house-to-techno DJ sets, sprinkled with progressive and organic sounds, 303 and breaks, draw energy from the four elements, while her original live set has three formats: “Sun” for sunrise settings, “Moon” for meditative settings and “Body” for nightclub settings. Releases include two EP’s on 宀 Records, a collaborative track on Klasse Wrecks, VA contributions on 20/20 Vision (Exit Planet Earth - “Helium”), Polychrome Audio (“Diffraction EP”) and Harmony Rec (upcoming), as well as three 80’s Cantonese disco tribute EP’s on Sound Metaphors’ “Bless You” imprint (A&R by Jane Fitz). Her live set recordings for QEONE’s SoundSculptors series and Rainbow Disco Club have garnered critical acclaim. Past highlights include Wonderfruit Festival, Boiler Room, Transmissions at FOLD, Nuits Sonores, Essaim Paris, Blitz Club and Panorama Bar. She made her Rainbow Disco Club live set debut with Kuniyuki Takahashi in April 2025, with standout appearances at Monument, Draaimolen and CODA by Ratherlost and Pax-Romana for ADE. Xiaolin previously hosted a bimonthly show on Baihui Radio China and has done guest mixes on The Mudd Show, The Lot Radio, NTS, Noods, Test Pressing, EYA, Trommel and Balamii amongst others.
