“Markus Klee is quickly becoming a synonym for energizing groovy techno and tech house.”

    their own biography

    the whole biography
Markus Klee is quickly becoming a synonym for energizing groovy techno and tech house. The Berlin-based DJ and producer has been part of the Berlin electronic music scene for many years now and has since then become simply irreplaceable. His first experiences as a DJ were however as spontaneous and coincidental as could be: his talents came to surface during several after hour parties, where he would perfect his skills and experiment on a self-taught basis. Markus Klee is well known for demonstrating great expertise and performing in Berlin clubs like Ritter Butzke, IPSE, Suicide Circus or Weekend, which in turn allowed him to become a guest DJ in Munich’s best clubs and has given him the opportunity to successfully showcase his talents internationally in countries like Italy, Spain, Netherlands, Austria, Serbia and Switzerland. In early 2015 he began releasing his very own tracks on his very own label, Konzeptions, which he co-founded along with SoKool and Mr. Schug. He has additionally released tracks on labels like Lapsus Music & Patent Skillz.
Their RA profile lists Ritter Butzke Studio and Konzeptions.

    the whole biography
From early experiments in the world of Punk music, the German duo’s first breakthrough came with their 2004 hit ‘Straight Ahead’, which featured the vocals of The Pretender's Chrissie Hynde and shot straight to the top of the Billboard Dance Radio Chart. Since this early success, their output has evolved significantly, through incorporating real-life recordings and samples into their music. Their intricate, emotion-laden production style creates records that are organic and evocative, without losing that dancefloor punch essential for the modern-day DJ. Tube & Berger have undoubtedly shaped the Deep House genre, crafting several scene defining records in the last couple of years. More notably is ‘Imprint of Pleasure’, a heart-wrenchingly poignant dance floor anthem released on Suara Records that was named Beatport’s 9thTop Selling Track of All Time, racked up a hefty 32 million streams on Spotify and has provided the soundtrack for festivals and dance floors for over many years. Last year, Tube & Berger and Junior Jack's collaboration track "E Samba 2018" peaked at No.2 on the Beatport main chart and was No.1 in their House Chart for 6 weeks in Summer, gaining huge DJ support from the likes of Pete Tong, Erick Morillo, Fisher, Claptone, Flashmob and Nora En Pure. Along with friend and fellow DJ Juliet Sikora they run the labels Kittball Records and ZEHN Records. Next to releasing their own tracks, both labels have signed prominent artists like &ME, Andhim, Betoko, Dennis Cruz, Djuma Soundsystem, Ida Engberg, illyus & Barrientos, Purple Disco Machine, Township Rebellion and many more. On Kittball, Tube & Berger released their debut studio album ‘Introlution’ back in 2012. Their second album ‘WE ARE ALL STARS’ was released in May 2017. In terms of live performances –Tube & Berger never tire. Tube & Berger are proved Ibiza heavyweights with frequent shows at ANTS in Ushuaia and Booom! Ibiza. Festival-wise they had sets at Tomorrowland, Loveweek Festival, Eastport Festival, Claptone's Masquerade and played dates at ADE including 'All Gone Pete Tong' and multiple Toolroom Showcases.
Their RA profile lists Defected Records, Ministry Of Sound, Get Physical Music, Great Stuff Recordings and 5 more.

“"I can sell out Madison Square Garden masturbating." —Mike Tyson MOONBOOTICA saves lives.”

    their own biography

    the whole biography
"I can sell out Madison Square Garden masturbating." —Mike Tyson MOONBOOTICA saves lives. MOONBOOTICA guarantees the fun of excess. A great gift to mankind. Without fun, this world would recede into clouds of grey. And who wants that? With MOONBOOTICA, everybody has the freedom to say no to grey. On one condition: fun has to be discovered and used to full effect, with every sinew stretched. Once you’ve got that far, things begin to relativize, delusions of grandeur seem as easy as ABC, thanks to MOONBOOTICA. The powers that be strive for greatness, growth, expansion? MOONBOOTICA rise up to the challenge twice over! Composure through relativization, at the end of the day, MOONBOOTICA always have more in the tank. This calming influence comes courtesy of the “bigger than life” mindset, the classic Funkadelic lesson succinctly stated: “Free your ass and your mind will follow.” As a DJ and production team, MOONBOOTICA has represented maximum torsion since 1999. But endurance is merely one of the Hanseatic duo’s most distinguished qualities. Together they represent a bulwark against inconstancy and are nevertheless always ready to smash borders. Including their own. There are two of them, after all. A two-headed unity IS MOONBOOTICA, and that’s what it’s all about, IS: double-loaded, twice as focussed, twice as big. The double greatest. Even when Kowe Six or Tobi Tobsen should tread the boards alone, the format remains the same. Each of them is double MOONBOOTICA. And vice versa. MOONBOOTICA’s unique lack of respect in the interests of wildstyle is both a virtue and a call to arms. If refinement of taste should run the risk of imploding, there’s no better tonic than a dose of MOONBOOTICA. The antithesis to light and minimal dictates. It couldn’t be any easier or more effective. A track, an album, a set – well-being is just a question of the right dose. In case of doubt: more is more. Whilst somehow, the love of a grand pose notwithstanding, remaining the same, in appearance and reality. Without resorting to trickery, ironic dissociation or in-jokes, MOONBOOTICA offer themselves up to the audience. As vulnerable as they are sure of victory, the duo has everything a good, open drama needs. Only that everything does not end up in pools of blood. When others reach for anabolics and pimp their track to the limiter with everything they can get their hands on, Kowe Six and Tobi Tobsen simply rely on where they came from. Style was laid in their cradle like a golden curb chain. Their musical trajectory, five albums and hundreds of shows prove as much. MOONBOOTICA is, by nature, greater than everything else. Greater than you or I. Greater than Tobi and Kowe even. At which point we finally come to the introductory quote from Mike Tyson - but we don’t want to explain the fun of excess again. Take a look in the newspaper if you want to know how important it is. Or spend an evening with MOONBOOTICA.
Their RA profile lists Moonbootique Recordings, Vendetta Records, Freakz Me Out, Katermukke and 2 more.

    their own biography

    the whole biography
Hannes & Holger met behind the decks in spring 2008 at one of those openair parties which start as a gathering of friends and overflow in a park-rave of thousand euphoric people. Since then Hannes & Holger concentrate their energies on their collaboration: AKA AKA. Under contract with Oliver Koletzki’s label Stil vor Talent, March 2009 saw their debut 'Voegeln EP' released and supported by artists like Dubfire, Claude VonStroke and Troy Pierce. Their track 'Woody Woodpecker' stayed for one month on the Beatport minimal charts at place 1 and also the vinyl version hopped from 0 to 1 by release day on decks.de. In May 2010 it was awarded the with the 3rd place of the annual Beatport Music Awards in the category „best track minimal“. Also their 2nd and 3rd release on Stil vor Talent being played by Luciano, Adam Byer, Sharam (Deep Dish)Gus Gus and many more became a huge success. In October 2009 they started their own label Burlesque Musique which focuses on on non-conform minimal and techhouse influenced by swing, jazz, balkan, funk and other funny but danceable music. Besides Burlesque Musique they run the already since 2005 established music and party label Pentagonik. Known for their driving liveact and DJset the two play in most of Berlin's clubs like Arenaclub, Watergate, Maria, Tresor or Ritter Butzke. Travelling around Europe they visited clubs in Zurich, Madrid, Moscow, Turin, Vienna, Cologne, Hamburg, Munich etc. In March 2010 they played their first live performance at Watergate featuring their trumpeter Thalstroem who plays the trumpet and the Electronic Wind Instrument which adds a new floating layer to their music. Together with Thalstroem AKA AKA produced their debut album which will be released on the 30th of May 2011 on Burlesque Musique.

  • Simina Grigoriu

“Romanian-born, Toronto-bred Simina Grigoriu has been steadily racking up accolades during her decade-long career.”

    their own biography

    the whole biography
Romanian-born, Toronto-bred Simina Grigoriu has been steadily racking up accolades during her decade-long career. Starting off as a DJ, she quickly made the transition as a producer and kicked off her own label Kuukou, a home for techno forward productions, where she calls all the shots. In this time she’s also transplanted to Berlin, a place she now calls home and the major source of her creative inspiration, a source as diverse as her influences. Simina’s musical roots stem deep in her childhood when she studied classical violin and keyboard. Coupled with her parents’ musical legacy and her passion for Hip Hop freestyling as a teen, it encapsulates the foundation of her style, an avenue she continues to explore to this day. Garnering on the exposure of Toronto’s clubs, where growing up, the likes of Jeff Mills, Josh Wink and Juan Atkins struck a chord, Simina’s style grew and developed constantly into the straightforward and uplifting techno she fronts today. Her first productions came to light on the Berlin label Sonat Records in 2010 with the huge “Mukluks & Ponytails” EP, followed by releases with Phrase Insane Records in Spain, Italy’s Intellectro Vibe, Urban Sound and Frequenza Records. A debut album was sure to follow, as Exit City became one of Susumu Records’ highest chart toppers. After a yearlong break, where she focused her efforts on motherhood while keeping an active studio schedule, Simina christened Kuukou Records in July 2016 with her inaugural EP on the label “Techno Monkey”. Shortly after, she doled out “Matching Numbers” on POPOF’s FORM, an immediate hit EP complete with a smashing remix by Julian Jeweil. Since then, Simina has become a mainstay on some of the most notable labels in the techno world, with critically acclaimed, internationally-lauded releases on the likes of ELEVATE, Tronic Music, Set About, Prospect Records and Complexed Records to name just a few. An active globetrotter, Simina’s constantly touring, having wowed crowds at festivals and venues all over the world so it’s no surprise the Techno chief named her label ‘Kuukou’ (Japanese for airport). Since its inception the burgeoning imprint has gone from strength to strength, with a steady stream of hard-hitting releases from the likes of Torsten Kanzler, Gallya, Fabio Florido, Dusty Kid, BB Deng, Drumcomplex, Alfred Heinrichs, Martin Books and Daniel Boon amongst others. Safe to say the coming months and years will provide a plethora of amazing releases, performances and surprises from one of Techno’s most dynamic ladies.
Their RA profile lists Tronic, Octopus Music, Time Has Changed Records, Intellectro Vibe Records and 6 more.

“Some years ago and driven by inspiration Annett Gapstream started expanding her music project from home and closest friends to clubs, festivals and a whole bunch of like-minded people.”

    their own biography

    the whole biography
Some years ago and driven by inspiration Annett Gapstream started expanding her music project from home and closest friends to clubs, festivals and a whole bunch of like-minded people. It’s Techno – at least somehow. Colorful dark day techno probably describes her sound best. She enjoys life between playing and producing music. After starting releasing tracks in 2018 her latest tales can be found on labels like Rebellion der Träumer, Stil vor Talent and Nown Music. Annett Gapstream does things that feel good right now without trying to already rack her brain during the first track too hard about the last one that might or might not follow. Journeys can change and so do her sets. This is also what identifies most in her productions and collaborations with others – definitely electronic music, mostly straight but always open-minded for powerful twists now and then. So, yes, for sure - there was that dreamy and almost cheesy sunrise moment in the last festival season...

Made in Germany and Berlin-based, GEMINIS share a unique musical DNA, blending adaptability with the precision and craftsmanship of their roots. Raised on acoustic and electric guitar, inspired by their brother’s background in rap, and shaped by music production studies at 343 Labs, they create a sound that is distinctive, powerful and groove-driven, fueled by the authentic, almost telepathic connection of their twin minds. Their collaborative energy doubles the intensity and ignites twice the passion in their music.
