With roots in Ukraine and raised in Gelsenkirchen, Germany, she entered the scene through experiencing war and struggle, finding an escape in the local dance scene and quickly became a consistent presence in the underground. Since 2024, she has played regularly across Berlin and beyond, including about:blank and collaborations with Pacotek and 4tc, while holding a residency at 4tress in Tel Aviv. Alongside DJing, she runs Unmute, a project connecting voices from the Middle East, and co-curates Office and Garage Is Back Baby — platforms for bass-heavy, garage, dub and non-linear club music. Her approach stays open and in motion, shaped by constant digging and a commitment to the unexpected never settling for one path.Last at ://about blank in Dec 2025 · often with Anat, Saturator, Aurora Polaris, none of them here that night
“Selin is a Berlin-based DJ whose sets move fluidly through the many shades of house music.”

Selin is a Berlin-based DJ whose sets move fluidly through the many shades of house music. Growing up surrounded by music, she trained professionally in singing, acting, and dancing before finding her true expression behind the decks. This foundation in performance instilled a deep sense of rhythm and storytelling that now defines her approach to DJing. Her style is versatile and dynamic, weaving together groove, drive, and emotion to create a journey that feels both intimate and powerful. Whether it’s late-night underground spaces or open-air gatherings, Selin shapes her sets to the energy of the moment—always with the goal of forging a genuine connection with the dance floor and beyond. Guided by an ear for detail and a love for discovery, she embraces the full spectrum of house, from stripped-back grooves to melodic layers and percussive rhythms. For Selin, DJing is not just about selecting tracks, but about creating an atmosphere where people can lose themselves and share in a collective experience.Recently at Marla Records, OXI, Crack Bellmer · often with Kat_Es, Bress Underground, Malte Süß, none of them here that night

“ESCH Berlin “In Greek mythology, Thanatos was the daemon personification of death.”
their own biography
the whole biography
ESCH Berlin “In Greek mythology, Thanatos was the daemon personification of death. In classical Freudian psychoanalytic theory, Thanatos represents the death drive (German: Todestrieb); the drive towards death, self-destruction and the return to the inorganic: “the hypothesis of a death instinct, the task of which is to lead organic life back into the inanimate state”. The death drive opposes Eros, the tendency toward survival, propagation, sex, and other creative, life-producing drives.”Last at ://about blank in Apr · often with Rodmin, Electric Visionary, Vy Tran, none of them here that night
