Who they are
“Born and raised in Egypt’s crowded and disordered capital Cairo, Assyouti is among his generation’s most distinct and unapologetic voices.”
their own biography
the whole biography
Born and raised in Egypt’s crowded and disordered capital Cairo, Assyouti is among his generation’s most distinct and unapologetic voices. Juggling hypermodern bass mutations, warped dancefloor snaps and percussive club experiments, he draws energy from the chaotic stimulus he grew up engulfed by. As a DJ, he balances his love of the hardcore continuum with sounds from the world’s furthest recesses, moving fluidly between supercharged, frenetic feverisms and moments of introspective emotional hypnosis, usually weaving (in and out of) both creating high-pressure dancefloor narratives fueled by a sense of theatrical disorientation. Since relocating to Berlin, Assyouti has become a regular on the European club circuit, appearing at venues such as Tresor, The White Hotel, Garage Noord, La Station and Ankali, as well as renowned festivals including Unsound, Berlin Atonal, CTM and Uganda’s Nyege Nyege. In 2024 he founded No_Stone alongside Barcelona-based DJ and selector Jehia, an event series and cultural platform reflecting his commitment to expansive, cross-pollinated adventurous music. His debut EP, Shakhrama, was released in 2022 on High Digital, showcasing his wide-eyed, borderless musical interests. Followed by a stronger second EP on Shepard Tone, exploring his own take on jungle and breakbeat mayhem, alongside releases on labels such as DAWN, Hundebiss, Paradoxe Club, PAYNOMINDTOUS and a slew of other imprints. Noisy and at times aggressive, his productions melt visceral but challenging rhythms with distorted vocal and drum samples, processed beyond recognition into buzzsaw post-punk sonics rich with detailed sound design yet still hitting with the blunt force of a sledgehammer.Their RA profile lists Dawn, Paradoxe Club, irsh, ParkingStone and 3 more.Recently at OHM, Fitzroy, Panke

Catu dioisis is a young Kampala based dj and producer that has been digging and playing underground music since 2016. She is quite experimental with her music selection depending on the vibe of her gigs. However, it is obvious that she fell in love with afro inspired bass music. She is still fresh on the scene and we cant wait to hear more sounds from her.Recently at OHM, Panke

“Establishing himself as a vibrant name in Rio's new electronic generation, he transforms funk carioca into a global club language.”
their own biography
the whole biography
Establishing himself as a vibrant name in Rio's new electronic generation, he transforms funk carioca into a global club language. His sets fluidly move through vogue beats, jersey club, and electronic rhythms from the Global South, creating intense experiences marked by energy, sensuality, and collective connection. Through his DJ sets and events like @barkodokbral and @tOk4t0k4, he provides visibility and protagonism to marginalized sounds and bodies. Deeply connected to the ballroom scene, he builds performances that celebrate identity, movement, and freedom, bringing the sound of Brazilian peripheries to the forefront of contemporary club culture.Recently at OHM, OXI, Œlgarten
“Kontronatura's sound is focused on percussive, hypnotic and fast-paced beats with historically black roots – Dancehall, Kuduro, Baile Funk, Techno, Bubbling House, Global Bass, among others.”
their own biography
the whole biography
Kontronatura's sound is focused on percussive, hypnotic and fast-paced beats with historically black roots – Dancehall, Kuduro, Baile Funk, Techno, Bubbling House, Global Bass, among others. Along the past year, as a resident of one of the biggest underground parties in Brazil (MAMBA NEGRA), Kontronatura travelled around Brazil, Latin America and Europe presenting his sound in events such as Kode (RJ), ODD + Bassiani (SP), Universo Paralello (SSA), Banana Frita (AM), Masterplano (BH) , Hiedrah Club de Baile (BSAS) , Bahidorá (CDMX), Herrensauna (BER), Fusion Festival (BER), Tought Act (MCR) Club Raum Pride Festival (AMS) and +++. In addition to that, his mixes aired on several notable platforms such as Boiler Room, Rinse France, HOR and others, being selected twice by Resident Advisor as mix of the day at 2021 and 2022. Kontronatura took a liking to breaking expectations and messing with the listener's imagination, believing that the dancing body is free and sees the dance floor as a power to purge colonial violence. As a transmasculine person, understands that his body has political action in response to the lack of representation in the scene, in which trans bodies have little or no access. He takes back for himself the raw material of his existence as the greatest tool to position himself as an artist, being one representative of transmasculine community in electronic music.Their RA profile lists Mamba Rec and Jupiter4.Recently at OHM, OXI, Kwia
