Jamie is a Mc legend coming from the capitol city of germany , Berlin. He was the first generation of Junglists in this country, doing it since the early 90's, when he started to write lyrics he was only 15. On the mic for almost any big name in the Jungle/D&B scene (name one ..) he was booked all over europe, asia and the usa. In 2000 he was booked as the first Jungle/D&B artist to the UK. He performed in London, Bristol and Oxford and this wasn't the last time he stood on stage in the motherland of the genre. Up to now he's still one of the most mentioned Mc's and it seems like he's not willing to quit yet! He's also working for one of the main Clubs for Jungle/D&B, and any other kind of leftfield beats aswell, the Berlin Venue Club Gretchen where they run the "Recycle - Berlin's finest Drum'n'Bass" events which he is part of since the very beginning in 1996.Their RA profile lists BMG and Universal Music.Recently at Bi Nuu, Gretchen, DSTRKT Club Berlin · often with Box2, Box1, Rollin MC (VUP/Carepack/D), none of them here that night

their own biography

Engulfing himself in the underground music scene since the early 90's, Tommy Lexxus is no slouch when it comes to production and performance. From the heyday of Math Rock, Post Metal and Reggae, to the prologues of Drum & Bass, Dubstep & Grime. Before becoming a Junglist, Tommy played drums and bass guitar in several well known bands. He opened for Green Day when he was only 15, and was a founding member of Math Rock legends Upsilon Acrux. The Sub FM host has always kept his record crates very diverse and full of bass weight. Tommy's mixing skills are innovatively amusing while sophisticatedly cerebral. His sets are consistently entertaining, no matter the style or setting. Tommy Lexxus founded Bassism in 2005 as a warehouse rave in San Francisco. Fast forward to present day, and we find he and the Bassism crew stationed comfortably in Berlin with global distribution on Virgin. 2026 01 Jan • Drums @ Work • Drugstore 07 Jan • Tommy Lexxus on Sub FM 17 Jan • Critical Sound + Bassism • Gretchen 20 Jan • Bassism 30 • Uglydub 03 Feb • Bassism 20 Years • Vol. I 04 Feb • Tommy Lexxus on Sub FM 17 Feb • Bassism 31 • Arøund The Way 03 Mar • Bassism 20 Years • Vol. II 04 Mar • Tommy Lexxus on Sub FM 01 Apr • Bassism Radio on Sub FM 07 Apr • Bassism 20 Years • Vol. III 25 Apr • Recycle + Bassism • Gretchen 29 Apr • Tommy Lexxus on Sub FM 05 May • Bassism 20 Years • Vol. IV 27 May • Bassism Radio on Sub FM 30 May • Playaz Anniversary • Edelfettwerk Hamburg Bassism Crew Berlin: Tommy Lexxus VILIFY DJ Quien Hawt Coco SCHNITT Jimi Handtrix Grzly Adams Migz Uglydub MC Do Arøund The Way Zhi MCTheir RA profile lists SubLife Recordings and Bassism Records.Recently at Bi Nuu, Gretchen, Panke · often with Dj Quien, VILIFY, Grzly Adams, none of them here that night
““Cutting Edge” – these words best describe Turrican's sound.”
their own biography
the whole biography
“Cutting Edge” – these words best describe Turrican's sound. Having been part of the German drum & bass and bass music scene for over 20 years, he has never been the type to seek the spotlight; rather, his focus has always been on evolving his musical vision. The aphorism “Deeper than Limbo” has established itself over the years both for his sound and in relation to his label URBAN POETRY RECORDS, which he has been running for over 15 years. On this label, he brings together artists from all over the world – from Sydney to Berlin, Bristol to Los Angeles and back again – while remaining a hidden gem, just like himself. Turrican strives to explore musical boundaries and blur transitions between genres. This approach also gave rise to the term “170,” which is meant to represent this open yet highly focused style without directing listeners' expectations towards a specific genre (such as drum & bass or dubstep). As an active member of the collective IMPULSE BASSKULTUR, Turrican has been regularly organizing bass music events in Berlin for over 15 years. With various stops in Berlin's club scene, from ://aboutblank to Berghain Kantine, the collective found its home a few years ago at Club GRETCHEN, where it has since regularly played Box II and celebrated the beauty of bass music in all its facets with national and international guests.Their RA profile lists Urban Poetry.Recently at Gretchen · often with alllone, Migz, MC Jamie White (Recycle/D), none of them here that night
