Member of the label and mixed genre/generation collective Friendsome, since 2018, the young and talented producer and DJ Belaria has risen through the ranks; at the end of 2021, Beatportal had already selected her in «one of the 10 artists at the head of the French underground revolution». Confirmed in 2022; she is one of the residents of Badaboum after having already played in Parisian institutions such as the Rex Club (with Laurent Garnier) or La Machine, and shared the stage with the legends Krystal Klear, MCDE, Laurent Garnier or Vitalic, especially during the Arte recording at La Gaité Lyrique; Stand WithUkraine by Jennifer Cardini, in which she plays in b2b with Pedro Winter. Her track « Morning Disco Tonic Bongo » won the “Producer Day” of the Chineurs de House, of which Belaria became the first female winner since its creation. This summer 2021 anthem will be followed by « Heartquake » released on the « DJs For Climate Action : Climate Soundtrack » compilation, then by a first EP « Boost & Doubts », released in June 2022 by Friendsome, assuming a unique style, while retaining her main inspirations: New Wave and Synth Pop.Last at Kater in Apr

Her sonic language is precise and instinctive, built on minimal structures, raw edges, and controlled intensity. This clean, architectural, and deconstructed sensibility extends naturally from the studio to the dancefloor. their own biography
the whole biography
Thabo, a stalwart of Berlin's underground circuit, has steadily ascended to a revered status as a promoter, accomplished DJ, and prolific producer in recent years. A true Berliner, he's synonymous with the soulful yet infectious strains of house that he passionately champions both behind the decks and in the studio. Thabo's roots lie in the sounds of hip hop and dancehall, a facet of his musical upbringing that continues to permeate his productions with a distinct flavor. His voyage into electronic music, circa the early 2000s, saw the German artist plunge headfirst into the city's pulsating dance music milieu. Before long, he was orchestrating his inaugural raves at esteemed Berlin venues like Cookies and Tape Club. After years dedicated to honing his craft and finding his groove, Thabo's DJ career took off, earning him slots at nearly every renowned Berlin club and eventually expanding his reach to international stages. Beyond his prowess behind the turntables, Thabo is a prolific studio wizard. Formerly operating under a different alias, he garnered accolades from heavyweights in the industry, including the likes of Carl Craig, Laurent Garnier, Cinthie, LTJ Bukem, and Jovonn. However, Thabo was always destined for more, driven by the vision of curating his own musical odyssey. In 2016, he unveiled "home again," an embodiment of a decade's worth of promoter experience crystallized into the quintessential house party. Featuring an eclectic roster of over 200 artists such as Gabrielle Kwarteng, Satoshi Tomiie, Leon Vynehall, Apollonia, and Palms Trax, this concept transcended mere party status, evolving into a multifaceted platform. It now encompasses a record label, fashion outlet, festival, and a dynamic creative hub dedicated to the house music community. Thabo's residencies at HÖR and Refuge Worldwide, along with his exclusive mix series on Apple Music, have cemented his role as a torchbearer of the Berlin 'House' sound. With an exciting array of releases on the horizon, Thabo remains steadfast in his mission to keep dance floors pulsating with his uplifting house sounds for years to come, solidifying his position as an indispensable figure within Berlin's electronic music landscape.Their RA profile lists Lobster Theremin, Heisenberg, Curtea Veche, Dansu Discs and 1 more.Recently at Else, RSO.BERLIN, Tausend · often with Andra (DE), ferrari rot, Meggy, none of them here that night
“Olaf Bender's creative work began with the casual finding of 16mm film equipment during school time.”
their own biography
the whole biography
Olaf Bender's creative work began with the casual finding of 16mm film equipment during school time. From that moment on, he started experimenting with the medium "film" as well as the raw material "film". Technical limitations forced special methods: he scratched directly on the footage to create geometrical figures; the results were archaic motion patterns. As a consequence of his experiments, he came into contact with the East German underground band AG Geige of which he became a permanent member in 1988. By working with this group, he also got into musical aspects. The home computer made it possible for autodidacts like him to work multimedially without musical training. After the fall of the Berlin wall in 1989, Bender worked in music distribution. The experiences he gained there led him to the idea of publishing his own music by himself. Together with Frank Bretschneider, he founded the record label rastermusic in 1996 which later merged with Carsten Nicolai's noton label to form raster-noton. Since the label's founding, Bender has produced music solo under the pseudonym Byetone, but it was not until 2008 that he released his first full-length record on raster-noton. The lead single »Plastic Star« also defined his signature sound, presenting a minimalist rhythm-based music with a rock attitude that can do without too much processing and decoration; an archaic, rebellious music full of energy. The year 2008 also saw the release of his first full-length record, the highly acclaimed »Death of a Typographer«, whose follow-up »Symeta«, released in 2011, even entered several "record of the year" lists. In the wake of his own records, Byetone has also produced remixes for artists like Modeselektor and VCMG (Vince Clark and Martin L. Gore), as well as sound works for fashion designers like Rick Owens, Nina Ricci or NikeLab. Besides being part of raster-noton's supergroup Signal, he is also part of the duo Diamond Version (together with Carsten Nicolai) that released a series of EPs and a full-length record on Mute Records in 2013.Their RA profile lists Raster-Noton, Bine Music, blundar, Raster and 1 more.Recently at RSO.BERLIN

Carmen Electro is a project by a Finnish artist whose DJ sets and productions move fluidly through edges of house, techno, and driving club music. Rooted in a love for vinyl and shaped by years spent immersed in underground dance floors, her sets balance precision with intuition, drawing dancers into a primalistic journey that is both emotionally charged and rhythmically compelling. Known for weaving together driving grooves, atmospheric textures, and unexpected moments of tension and release, Carmen approaches DJing as a form of storytelling. Rather than chasing trends, she focuses on creating a sense of connection: between records, between bodies on the dance floor, and between the listener and herself. Her selections reflect a fascination with the transformative power of nightlife and the ways in which music can blur the boundaries between introspection and collective experience. Carmen’s work of exploring club culture as a space for ritual, self-discovery, and belonging extends outside the DJ booth. Through ongoing field research, productions, event organizing and her KUJE Records label initiatives, she is committed to nurturing communities that celebrate curiosity, authenticity, and the freedom to explore identity through sound. There’s an ineffable feeling that one has after a Jesse G set, often evidenced by an upward turning of a lip corner, a child-like sense of discovering something new, or a renewed understanding of the word “fun.” Proficient at working a crowd, Jesse G wants you to feel whatever you want to feel during her sets, as long as it’s something. Known for her energetic, genre-spanning sets that surprise and delight crowds, the Berlin-based Techno DJ’s big sound is a playful wide range medley of deep, metallic and trippy to groovy, jacking, percussive sounding Techno with diverse rhythms and UK bass influence. Growing up in Wiesbaden, Germany as a child of Filipino and Sicilian immigrants, Jesse found music to be a lingua franca that connected her with her surroundings. Her early introduction to music was through R&B, Italo Pop, and Rap and her deep curiosity and engagement with music in all its forms still guides her today. Describing DJing in her words as „a way to express how she hears the world“, her exhilarating sets borrow from a diverse range of sonic spaces and one can often detect influences from different genres such as bass music, breakbeat, house, reggaeton and dancehall alongside her meticulous and expansive feel for varied techno grooves and rhythms. Her distinctive sound is also informed by an encyclopedic understanding of electronic music and her craft honed over her nearly six years as an integral member of the staff at the hallowed Berlin record store, Hard Wax. In addition to holding down residencies at RSO Berlin and Tresor, she has brought her sound to venues such as De School, Berghain, Open Ground, and Blitz Club; and graced festivals including ADE Het Weekend and Nachtiville.Recently at Else, Berghain, RSO.BERLIN · often with Berghain, ROBUS, Malika, none of them here that night

Daria Kolosova’s 14 years of experience as a DJ, combined with her deep passion for electronic music, have shaped her into a remarkably versatile and proficient artist. Daria was born in the small town of Lutugino in eastern Ukraine. Her love for music was instilled by her father and her devotion to electronic music began at the age of 9 when she first heard “Diesel Power” by The Prodigy. Her passion for music deepened when her mother sent her to music school, where she studied piano. Yet being drawn to DJing from an early age, Daria embraced her vocation which led to her first performance in February 2010. Following this debut, she continued to actively perform in clubs across Lugansk and other cities while also organizing her own parties. After being inspired by Kyiv electronic scene and absorbing the vastness of electronic music genres, Daria honed her taste and recolated to Kyiv. There, she became a resident DJ at Keller, performing under the alias Dar:k and co-launched the party series Materia UA. After actively being involved in the electronic music scene for some time, Daria started to use her own name, leaving her Dar:k moniker aside as an experimental project. She began headlining most of Kyiv’s underground nightclubs like K41, Closer, Otel and began expanding her reach internationally, performing outside of Ukraine and securing her place on the global stage, with bookings at high-profile events and venues across Europe and beyond. Currently, Daria is one of the most actively growing names in the techno scene. She has played some of the world’s most renowned institutions, with frequent bookings at Berghain, Bassiani, Fabric, London’s Fold and festivals like Tomorrowland, Junction 2, Awakenings, Time Warp and played at Amnesia, Hi and DC10 in her first Ibiza season. As a DJ, Daria never aims to deliver what is expected of her, but rather tries to convey her personal narratives through music. Daria views music as the most genuine method of communication, empathy and unity - a tool that helps her transform her distinctive energy into a story that can be shared with people on the dance floor. She desires to not only provide a danceable and enjoyable set but inspire and introduce people to something fresh and daring. Daria’s style is rooted in hard and groovy techno, often infused with elements of breakbeat, electro, hardcore, or jungle, making her performances rich in variety and unpredictability.Recently at Else, RSO.BERLIN, MUENZE · often with ROBUS, Ignez, SUMME, none of them here that night

Breaking through under the unlikely circumstances of full lockdown and after her steamy HÖR debut went viral, Fuckoff’s productions instantly turned heads. With her signature provocative lyrics, breakneck speed and energy-laden twists, standouts like “B.I.M.B.” and her contribution to “Trick” by Dagga have become instantly recognizable DJ favorites that saw releases on the likes of International Chrome & none/such recordings. As one of the most iconic artists of her generation, Ellen Allien embodies the core ethos of techno: a visionary who looks to the future for inspiration, carving out her own niche and presiding over an empire that has infused techno, rave, and dance music culture with her unique DNA. Ellen Allien’s journey through the years is a blueprint for a healthy underground community and grounded career in music. Her playful mind and openness to sharing knowledge, imbues her art with an energy and inspiration that’s been highly influential to the subculture across art, design and fashion in her native Berlin. Ellen’s eternally creative mind has led to the production of ten albums, to join her extensive back catalogue of singles, EPs and remix work for seminal labels like Warp and Mute. Most recently she’s collaborated with Italian band Ash Code to bring together dark wave and techno in a seamless dancefloor marriage, remixed Lebanon Hannover and Rosa Anschütz, as well as contributing tracks to compilations from Gegen and Serendeepity. In 2023 she celebrated the 20th Anniversary of her seminal album ‘Stadtkind’, her most recent album AurAA delivered emotional techno resonating far beyond the dancefloor. A dynamic selector who prides herself on her extensive knowledge of music and dance floors, she’s travelled the globe as a DJ playing at every major club on the circuit, and commanding the big stages at festivals from Europe to South America. Ellen runs her days long ‘We Are Not Alone’ raves at RSO in her beloved hometown Berlin, bringing the party worldwide as UFO Rave, and she hosts in-store record shop gigs as Vinylism. In her role as head of BPitch, and UFO Inc., Ellen channels her ceaseless passion for digging into A&R, seeking out and nurturing new talent, alongside established artists and friends. She has signed new artists to her labels, including German trans-media artist Rosa Anschütz, Dutch electronic producer extraordinaire Dollkraut/DJ Europarking, and supports the growth of future talents like Métaraph and Shaleen through the booking agency. Steering the label to become one of the most important platforms for underground electronica. BPitch operates in a league of all its own, influencing the scene at home, but with a global reach. Ellen Allien’s constant forward focus led to the conception of a brand new record label, UFO Inc. in 2018; as an incubator for rough, ravey, raw techno – providing an additional space for Ellen to release her tougher productions, purely for the dancefloor. 2020-22 presented an extremely difficult situation for Ellen and the rest of the global electronic music community as clubs and festivals were shut down. Unable to tour, she conceived the hugely successful Balcony Streaming sessions, hosted from her home in Berlin. The livestreams allowed her to continue DJing and engaging with her fanbase, while also supporting music from a wide range of artists, new and old. During this time, she channeled her curatorial experience into an expansive three-part (expanded to six in 2023) compilation series. Named after her We Are Not Alone parties, the collection comprised tracks from artists that embody the ethos; club music with a rugged aesthetic and an unapologetic dancefloor focus. Volumes four-six were released together with a film and installation as AFTER DARK with Ellen’s longtime collaborator the director/photographer Stini Roehrs.AFTER DARK exhibition premiered at the Hamburger Bahnhof modern art museum in Berlin in July, with a new soundtrack by Ellen.Their RA profile lists fabric Records, Mute Records, Warp Records, Spectral Sound and 6 more.Recently at Komplex Berlin, Hamburger Bahnhof - Museum für Gegenwart, RSO.BERLIN · often with SUMME, ROBUS, Sarah Sommers, none of them here that night

“ENNIO is a Berlin-based artist who operates at the edges of genre and identity.”
their own biography
the whole biography
ENNIO is a Berlin-based artist who operates at the edges of genre and identity. Raised in Germany with Asian and Slavic roots, he developed his sound outside fixed roles and definitions. His music comes from that in-between space where identity is shaped by experience rather than tradition. Raw, rhythmic and built to move, with a signature bounce that needs no explanation. His breakout EP »Scacotteter« (TILT) introduced him as a distinctive voice in the global club landscape. Its standout track, »Gunung Padang«, merges Indonesian influences with Slavic vocal cuts and helped the release gain wide recognition among some of the scene’s most influential selectors. His follow-up single »Don’t Stop (Gimme More)« expanded that energy even further — playful and unapologetic, built around a cheeky vocal hook and the distinctive ENNIO bounce that became a crowd favourite. 2024 saw him contribute »Blok M« to A7A Records’ Lunar New Year Compilation, a project celebrating artists from across the Asian diaspora. That same year, »Bloody Beetroots« (TILT) arrived — driving yet fluid, a gritty track built for peak-time energy. 2025 began with »Chim Lạc Dan, Garuda!«, a collaboration with close friend and TILT ally HAMY, on A7A’s Year of the Snake edition. The track channels their Vietnamese and Indonesian backgrounds into a statement of visibility for Asian voices within club culture. Around the same time, he brought his sound to Berlin Fashion Week, teaming up with Sia Arnika and Lou De Bétoly. He was recently named “Artists Exciting Us In 2025” by Mixmag Asia. Beyond the studio, he is part of TILT, and co-founded his new platform BUTO BAYANG with HAMY in late 2025. The platform was featured in Mixmag Netherlands and Mixmag Germany, which explored the concept behind BUTO BAYANG and its vision for the future. In addition to hosting their club nights in Bali and Berlin, the platform curated a compilation bringing together artists from across Asia and the Asian diaspora worldwide, including his own track "Crave U". His DJ sets? Unpredictable, playful, and deeply instinctual. Like his identity, they resist singular narratives, drawing from a wide range of influences and ideas, yet always forming something distinctly his own. Blurring lines between genres and creating unexpected shifts in mood and intensity, he is known to enter into an almost symbiotic relationship with his crowd. From Säule (Berghain) and Radion to Faust, FVTVR, RSO, Macadam, and events such as Herrensauna and Musa, ENNIO’s sound continues to resonate across some of the world’s most forward-thinking club spaces.Their RA profile lists Defected Records, Patron Records, A7A and TILT.Recently at RSO.BERLIN, Else, Phantom Bar Berlin · often with Karina Schneider, BUTZ, KONZ, none of them here that night
“Erol Alkan is a DJ.”
their own biography
the whole biography
Erol Alkan is a DJ. He’s also a producer, artist, radio host, label head and collaborator. Some have labelled him a musical polymath, others have singled him out as one of most unique talents in electronic and alternative culture in recent decades. His exhaustive history reads almost like mythology; the shy school boy who snuck out of his bedroom window in the early 90s to play indie records to ruthlessly unforgiving crowds, and within a number of years ended up transforming the London club scene, bridging disparate scenes together with experimentation and abandon. Many years later, everything and nothing has changed. Whether in the DJ booth, the studio or on the radio, Alkan continues to rely on a unique alchemy driven by instinct and the pure, infectious love and knowledge of music he has carried since his childhood. Over 30 years into his life as a DJ, and connection is more important to Alkan than ever before. Founding the legendary, weekly Monday club TRASH in 1997 at the age of 23, Alkan served as both the promoter and resident DJ for exactly a decade until it bowed out at the height of its powers in 2007. From humble beginnings at the original Plastic People in Oxford Street. whose closure lead to a brief period at The Annexe in Dean Street, to TRASH finding its home at The End, often cited as one of the most important club venues of all time. Once dubbed by The Face as 'The greatest club in the world', TRASH went on to host early live shows for LCD Soundsystem, Peaches, The Rapture, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Bloc Party, Klaxons, Scissor Sisters and Gonzales, as well as secret shows for established names such as Soulwax, Phoenix and Suicide. Ten years on since Trash's closure, 'To The Rhythm' was born via a 13 week residency in 2017 at London's XOYO. A carefully curated line up saw a diverse mix of live artists and like-minded DJs play, including Ride, Factory Floor, I-F, François Kervokian, Ellen Alien, Hot Chip, Bariş K and Peggy Gou, as well as other familiar names that make up Alkan's close musical family. Recent years have seen Alkan expand 'To The Rhythm' in the form of a series of all-night long sets that create the ideal environment to explore the far-reaches of his record collection, spanning acid-drenched rave, frenetic house and the spirit of alternative pop, guitar music and opening sets focused on otherworldly, gentle records as imaginatively curated on his much-loved 'Bugged In' mixes. Taking up residency at beloved UK clubs across London, Manchester, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Liverpool and Birmingham, ‘To The Rhythm’ continues Alkan's communal philosophy, while looking forward to showcase his varied, constantly updating record collection. Taking the helm of each of the 3 hallowed slots that make up any singular party: the warm up, headliner and closer, Alkan approaches each stage of the night with a focus that draws the best from the dance floor, whilst offering a musical narrative back intended to be personable, transportive and hedonistic, sometimes all at once. As much as extended sets have become a major part of Alkan's current presence as a DJ, recent appearances at clubs such as Drumsheds, Warehouse Project, Printworks, The White Hotel, Golden Lion, Nitsa and Le Sucre have been outlets to appear on curated line ups alongside artists old and new, showcasing more traditional shorter sets akin to those outside of Trash in the 00s which lead him to being awarded Mixmag's Dj of 2006. "I feel comfortable to play anywhere across the night if I feel I can make a valid musical contribution, and that can happen in a number of different ways", Alkan explains. "I never plan sets as such, the only homework I do is making sure I feel I've absorbed or made enough music to keep things fresh for myself. DJing for me is 50% the records you bring and 50% the ability to read the room. At it's best it is like a symbiotic relationship with the dance floor. I simply aim to be the best version of myself in every situation I face.' Playing back to back has also long since represented another important dimension within Alkan's craft, with recent performances with Palms Trax, Ivan Smagghe and Solomun adding to a illustrious list of names which has also taken in 2manydjs, Justice, Daniel Avery, Gerd Janson and Boys Noize over the years. In tandem, Alkan’s joyous, knowledgeable 'Disco Sets' instinctively move bodies at underground queer discos or parties as vast as Le Discotèque, Homoelectric, Le Garçon Sauvage and Glitterbox. Outside of these clubs, Alkan continues to take a similarly wide-ranging musical approach on a number of festival line ups. Recent appearances have included Houghton, Field Day, Glastonbury, Lost Village, Bluedot, Homobloc and Ant Bangos, as well as headline sets at Sonar’s outposts in Barcelona, Lisbon and Istanbul. Alkan's interest in studio productions and collaboration has always sat comfortably alongside his reputation as one of the most diverse DJs in club music. Two of Alkan’s early album productions, Late Of The Pier’s ‘Fantasy Black Channel’ and Mystery Jets’ ‘Twenty One’ have been expanded and lovingly re-issued via his own label Phantasy, while recent years have seen Alkan affirm his production nous, working alongside shoegaze legends Ride, solo artist LA Priest, stadium regulars The Killers and global pop icons Duran Duran. Released in 2021, ‘Future Past’ was the band’s landmark fifteenth album and was largely produced by Alkan alongside Mark Ronson and Giorgio Moroder, and featuring Blur guitarist Graham Coxon. Original productions have appeared in the form of a variety of singles 'Bang', 'Sub Conscious', 'Spectrum', 'Automatic' and 'A Hold On Love' (which celebrated it's recent 10th anniversary with a duo of reworks from Erol himself) have all featured in the sets of the world's most revered DJ, as well as providing the soundtrack for Chanel catwalks amongst other creative spaces. In parallel, Alkan's contribution to Fabric's mix series was awarded 'Best Compilation' by DJ Mag, while his contributions to the I Love Techno and Bugged Out series of mixes further underscored Alkan's sonic versatility, the 'Bugged In' component of the latter still a sunrise benchmark of psych, folk and offbeat musical selections. As a remixer, Alkan’s generosity and imagination have recently provided buoyant takes on tracks from The Chemical Brothers, Confidence Man, Unloved (David Holmes), Working Men’s Club, and Jake Shears. Long considered one of the greatest remixers in electronic and alternative culture, Resident Advisor previously concluded that Alkan “belongs in the class of other fêted studio scientists like François K and William Orbit, whose best remixes exist out of time.” Many of these earlier reworks were collected on a 2017 compilation, ‘Reworks Volume 1’, in which Alkan's versions of Hot Chip, Connan Mockasin, Metronomy, Tame Impala , Manic Street Preachers and Justice all feature as classics of their respective genres. As one half of Beyond The Wizards Sleeve - a ‘sonic brotherhood’ alongside Richard Norris - born in 2005 via a mutual love of 60s and 70's psychedelia and as an avenue for them to both play riotous 8 hour sets in pub back rooms to unassuming crowds. consisting of their own edits designed for the modern dance floor in mind. Since then they've applied their touch to some of the world’s most celebrated artists, turning in timeless ‘Re-Animations’ for the likes of The Chemical Brothers, Franz Ferdinand, Tracy Thorn and Midlake, as well as the entirety of the Temples' debut 'Sun Structures', re-emerging as 'Sun Restructured'. The project culminated with an original album titled 'The Soft Bounce' which featured collaborations from Jane Weaver, Hannah Peel, Holly Miranda, Blaine Harrison, Euros Childs and writer Jon Savage. Alkan founded Phantasy in 2007. A record label intended to simply be a 'singles club' or springboard for new, unsigned artists, took on a new creative life by the time it reached it's 13th release. Debut albums by Connan Mockasin and Daniel Avery cemented Phantasy as one of the most important independent labels in the world. Whilst neither firmly rooted in electronic or alternative music, its fundamental ‘psychedelic sensibility’ provides an esoteric outlet for releases for a diverse range of artists including CC:DISCO!, Red Axes, Cowboy Rhythmbox, James Welsh, Terr, Josh Caffé and Gabe Gurnsey. Given his lifelong endeavour to channel music and creativity from past and present eras, it's little surprise that Alkan has also enjoyed a fruitful and ongoing spell as a radio DJ. Having broadcast on BBC 6 Music for over a decade, including the longest-standing stint hosting their ‘6Mix’ residency, he is now one of the residents at London’s boundary-pushing NTS Radio, programming shows that connect the vitality of his current club sets with a vast record collection spanning decades. As the sands of alternative and electronic music culture shift faster than ever, Alkan remains one of the most influential and enduring artists in whatever world he chooses to occupy. Never mind cliches, Erol Alkan is an even rarer sort; an artist who needs no introduction, yet with so much more to share.Their RA profile lists Phantasy Sound.often with Justin Strauss, none of them here that night

Born in Budapest, Hungary and spending her early childhood in Spain before eventually settling in Amsterdam, her upbringing was as colourful as it was diverse. With a Hungarian Father and Finnish Mother deeply immersed in the European rave scene of the 1990s, it seems that her path was almost predestined. As a child, some of her earliest memories are watching her father playing records at home, being entranced by what was happening on the turntable and coming out of the speakers. From the very beginning she had a burning passion for music that was only fueled and enhanced by her colourful and diverse upbringing. Grace’s career began at 18, cutting her teeth at clubs and venues around Amsterdam. She soon became a resident at the iconic Vault Sessions party series, solidifying her reputation as a rising star. Since then she has gone on to play some of the most revered venues and festivals around the world, including Berghain, Awakenings, Boiler Room and Stone Techno Festival. Her production journey began in 2018 with her first release on Coincidence Records as part of a VA compilation, followed by her debut solo EP, Dark Side of Desire, on Khazad Records. Since then she has appeared on high-profile imprints such as Amelie Lens’s Exhale and Frenzy Recordings, further cementing her place among techno’s elite talents. Her productions are a balance of powerfully weighted percussion and rich, immersive soundscapes. In 2024 Grace launched her very own label Serial Disc Touchers (SDT Recordings), which is a testament to her vision of fostering high-quality, boundary-free music. Since then the label has already released two projects and boasts a roster of talented artists, including Alec Dienaar, Julian Muller, François X, and Onyvaa. As 2025 unfolds, Grace’s momentum shows no signs of slowing, reflecting her strong dedication to this craft and her incomparable experience. “Dutch-born, Berlin-based DJ Laure Croft lives by the mantra ‘keep it sexy’.”
their own biography
the whole biography
Dutch-born, Berlin-based DJ Laure Croft lives by the mantra ‘keep it sexy’. When behind the decks she takes approach for the moment of release in the most powerful dancefloor experiences, when clothes come off and the energy reaches fever pitch. This sensual attitude manifests in the way she plays – a constant rush of high-intensity techno with little respite as she rips through a collection which spans the mid 90s to the mid 00s. She’s no vinyl elitist, but in touching a pair of Technics she found an internal excitement which was lacking from CDJs, where the tension around the mix and the story embedded in the grooves of a record feed into the energy of the party. She glides through her record bag after ceaseless hours of digging and selecting with an instinctive code which defines her unique sound. As her identity as a DJ takes an upwards curve, Laure views her path as a quest to continually find the tracks which fit her particular creative vision, pulling together the pieces of the puzzle from decades of techno culture carved into a near-infinite pool of uptempo, forward-facing machine music. As a woman in a male-dominated scene, she also pushes for a more inclusive climate on all regards, and considers her ever-increasing visibility an opportunity to inspire and enact positive change. With her husky Roxy (named after one of the first queer underground music clubs in Amsterdam) by her side, she holds true to techno’s inherent futurism by creating something new and ever-evolving from the already existing music she discovers and blends. The end result is a sound which celebrates honesty and integrity in the face of modern life’s rampant, paper-thin perfectionism.Recently at RSO.BERLIN, Else, Tresor / Globus · often with ROBUS, SUMME, VINVAR, none of them here that night
“machìna is a Korean artist based in Tokyo.”

machìna is a Korean artist based in Tokyo. Her music is deeply personal and rooted in selfhood, yet best experienced amidst the collective effervescence of a nightclub dance floor. Her compositional style is thoughtful and playful, hinting at her love of jazz, which can be seen in her confident modular improvisation when she performs live. Her vocals are pronounced and note-perfect, forged in the regimented training she underwent during her time as a K-Pop artist. Through this collaboration of technology, analogue systems and vocals, she is developing her unique style of electronic music. As a regular performer with MUTEK Japan, she is expanding her sounds into the world of multi-media experimental art, and her most recent performance at MUTEK Montreal was to great acclaim, which led her on the path to play at the SILVESTER KLUBNACHT at the Halle stage in Berghain at the end of 2022. In 2023, machìna was an integral part of the From Our Minds – To Be Announced 2023 tour, playing her newly developed live techno set to sold-out crowds across Europe and The USA alongside Richie Hawtin. The basis for this live set has been a year-long experimental project, Action, a series of dance tracks released periodically throughout the year, inspired by the defining harmony of rhythm and sound. These independent releases have been met with a buzzing reaction both on the dance floor and across mixed media, with the track 'Respect' being featured in a recent Miu Miu campaign and 'choom' being used in the Nike Campus campaign of 2024. Her unique style has led her to be picked up by brands including Prada, Miu Miu, Nike, Red Bull Music, Vans, and Shiseido for creative collaborations that highlight her ability to interweave the worlds of music and fashion. Some key events include playing a live set at the Prada Extends Tokyo event curated by Richie Hawtin (2022), headlining for the Miu Miu Club in Tokyo (2023) as well as being chosen as part of the NIKE X ACRONYM global campaign and as an ambassador for the MMW x NIKE Yoga collection. In 2021, she was asked to contribute to a compilation album 'Trasor30' by the record label Tresor of the legendary club in Berlin. Her vocals were featured on the widely popular track 'Hawk' by British electronic music duo Bicep, around the same time her debut EP 'Trusted' was released on London's UTTU label. After years of deep digging and collecting music, HAMY stepped behind the decks in 2023, bringing a carefully shaped sound to the dance floor that connects timeless underground energy with contemporary club music. Growing up in Berlin with Vietnamese roots, her musical perspective was shaped early on by the city’s club culture and diverse influences. Shaped by years of collecting since 2012, her approach draws strongly from Berlin’s techno sound while continuously developing through new music and ideas. Moving between trippy, rolling and bouncy techno and increasingly house-driven rhythms, her selections focus on progression and contrast, creating space for tension, release and musical storytelling without relying on fixed categories. On the dance floor, HAMY carefully builds momentum, guiding the crowd through unexpected shifts in sound and mood. Her ability to shape coherent yet surprising sets has quickly earned her trust and a growing following, leading to performances at venues such as Tresor, RSO, PAL (now NTSC), OXI, Watergate, Rote Sonne and PAN. In 2025, she brought her sound to Asia with a tour including Tokyo, Shanghai, Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, Bali and Bangkok, while also playing internationally in cities such as Barcelona, Manchester and across Italy. In January 2025, HAMY released her debut track “Chim Lac Dan, Garuda!” on A7A with close collaborator ENNIO. Released around Lunar New Year, the track reflects her cultural background while merging contemporary club energy with personal and emotional layers. Beyond DJing, HAMY works across music, visual culture and curation. Originally trained as a graphic designer, her interdisciplinary practice connects sound, art direction and community-building. In early 2025, she curated her own edition of Tresor’s New Faces series and is a resident at the Berlin-based label TILT. “Setaoc Mass is an essential voice in techno and electronic music today.”
their own biography
the whole biography
Setaoc Mass is an essential voice in techno and electronic music today. As a DJ, producer and label curator, his vision is bold and clear, rooted as much in techno as it is in IDM and experimental music. His sound—sleek, hypnotic, ultra-refined—is instantly recognizable, the result of tastes and techniques honed over 15 years of monklike dedication to his craft. Setaoc Mass records are routinely gobbled up by DJs lauded by shops like Hard Wax. His labels, SK_Eleven (a platform for his own music) and SK_X (an outlet for music from like-minded artists are among the best in techno. As a DJ, he is a regular on the world's most hallowed dance floors, from Berghain to Bassiani. Setaoc Mass is Sam Coates, an artist born in Manchester, long-since based in Berlin and now in Kyiv, Ukraine. He started DJing and making music after a simple experience that changed everything: a friend's older brother showing him a series of seminal music videos from artists like LFO, Aphex Twin and Autechre. Soon Coates was soaking up CLR podcasts and marathon techno sets in Berlin. The foundation for the sound of Setaoc Mass—driving, atmospheric and meticulously well crafted—was being set. In 2013, Coates moved from Manchester to Berlin and dedicated himself to music completely."From my morning coffee till I went to bed," he said, "I'd be in my small room with my headphones. No gigs, no cash, just exploring Ableton, Native Instruments, Reaktor, experimenting with different ideas, finding my sound, seeing what I liked and what I didn't like." The work paid off. In 2015, impressed by his sound, Spencer Parker tapped Coates for an EP on Work Them Records." Soon his records were in demand from institutions like Soma Recordings and Len Faki's label, Figure. But Coates was most interested in his own label, SK_Eleven, a "highly personal" project named after his home postal code that remains the primary home for his music. The sound of Setaoc Mass has always stemmed off in many directions, with ambient, electro and experimental scattered across his EPs. Then came 2022's Horror Vacui, a debut album that made a clear artistic statement: with Setaoc Mass, techno is just the tip of the iceberg. A devotee of his music's history with no patience for nostalgia, Coates has absorbed techno's legacy, and is dedicated to pushing it forward. Spekki Webu was born into contrast, half Afro-American, half German, raised in the Netherlands and shaped by a history of black music. Long before he became the artist he is today, he was already listening deeply. Exploring scenes. Observing people. Absorbing stories. What started as curiosity turned into devotion, not to genres, but to a psychedelic stream of sound that refuses to be boxed. Moving through the formative underground of hardcore and freeparty culture, Spekki embraced experimentation from an early age. Making music and playing records were never career moves, but natural extensions of his lifelong observation practice. He didn’t chase styles; he time-traveled through them. Carrying forward what mattered, leaving behind what didn’t. Music became a lifestyle. Freedom became method. Both on and off stage, Spekki is known for his explosive energy and direct presence, yet beneath it lives a profound sensitivity for community and spirituality. Through his Mirror Zone label, he welcomes talented outliers into a space where differences can exist and sound has many colors. As he often states, “Mirror Zone is a mirror of life,” reflecting the introspective vision behind his label and audiovisual projects such as Signal Transmutations. Today, Spekki operates at the forefront of the global electronic music scene while remaining grounded in the same values that shaped him decades ago: autonomy and creative freedom. “Don’t let yourself be fooled into thinking you belong in one place. For the past 4 years, Thalo Santana has been working in Cologne’s, and recently Berlin’s underground music landscape as a DJ, producer, club booker, and promoter. The Brazilian native founded the HOOVE collective in 2016, where he played an integral part in redefining the local scene, developing and showcasing a more groovy and happy approach to his selections. In July 2020 Thalo launched with his good friends DJOKO, Pascal and J.Feierabend their musical imprint with HOOVE, releasing his first EP on vinyl that sold out in a short time and stayed on chart number 1 for three weeks.Thalo’s sets incorporate various decades of research in all realms of house music, beyond genre boundaries and with precise and perfectly skilled mixing, which he proved in prestigious locations in Cologne, Berlin, Amsterdam, and all over the world (O MATO, Brazil). His Brazilian nature comes through every time you see him behind the decks. ÜBERKIKZ combines driving kicks, tooly synths, tribal and folkloric elements into a hypnotic journey. With each kick, she tells stories that resonate deeply, encouraging a confrontation with one's origins. Free from thought, almost instinctively, her sets are a call to surrender to the moment and experience all these raw emotions in its purest form. At the heart of her sets lies the belief that we all share a common origin – beyond nationality, culture, gender or sexuality. Music is the universal bond that unites us, and this is the essence ÜBERKIKZ aims to express through her art: the power of rhytms to bring us together as a community and remind us of the unity of all humanity. She also publicly positions herself against sexism, discrimination and racism, as she wants the scene to become more inclusive. ÜBERKIKZ does this by actively supporting FLINTA* artists and encouraging them to make space for themselves in a male-dominated scene.Recently at Else, RSO.BERLIN, ZENNER · often with DJ Hyperdrive, future.666, fumi, none of them here that night

With an unparalleled presence, style, and demeanor in the underground, DJ, producer and label head Xiorro is renowned for igniting revelry. Having begun his artistry in 2017 in Brooklyn’s then-vibrant underground, Xiorro’s current status as a Berlin-based DJ is illuminated by his impactful run in Brooklyn with ALKHEMY & the beloved warehouse and off-site rave series, The Black Hole, which he both co-founded. Now a fixture in Berlin’s fervent club scene, Xiorro has transitioned seamlessly into a resident role at RSO where he frequents regularly, picking up where he left off at with his residency when the club was known as Griessmuehle and located in Neukölln. Fueled by a relentless and unyielding dedication to the craft, Xiorro has forged a style which blends endurance with mixing prowess and a meticulous selection. For a secret that almost feels like a clandestine, the dance floor needs not to worry when in the hands of Xiorro, as he has solidified himself as a trusted armament of RSO where he’s recognized for his extended sets during the club’s renown club night weekenders. His ability to play long sets and adapt to the style of the night elevates him to a league of his own. Whether guiding the audience through an intimate, incorporeal experience or powering the dance floor with moving fervency, Xiorro’s versatility and adaptability shines through as an exquisite fusion of artistic finesse together with his Puerto Rican heritage. Moreover, what distinguishes Xiorro apart from others is not only his self-taught musical ear for composing otherworldly vibrations but also his innate sense of drive and groove. The way that Xiorro understands how groovy rhythms succumb to the drive and revel in the intensity of the increased tempo, makes him a luminary leaving an indelible mark in the hearts of listeners. The inception of Xiorro’s Whirlwind Trax label in 2019 stands as an attestation to his commitment to interpreting techno through his own lenses. With releases that showcase both Xiorro’s own work as well as the work of label affiliates, Whirlwind Trax holds a catalogue of tracks that are sure to set a soundsystem ablaze. In tandem with a mixture of a desire to create a memorable experience with an affinity for the sheer excitement of techno, Xiorro now works on the continuance of The Black Hole now evolving into the ULTRANOVA club night series at RSO in 2024. Creating a community for the outcast of the outcasts, Xiorro is now focused on cultivating his own community within the Berlin ecosystem through his newly inaugurated night.Their RA profile lists Whirlwind Trax.Recently at RSO.BERLIN, OXI, Latitude Record Store · often with ROBUS, SUMME, Henning Baer, none of them here that night
