His project aims to return to the roots of techno, emphasizing sound purity and artistic essence, rooted in freedom, energy, and creativity. LPV's mission is to restore techno's authentic meaning, focusing on sound exploration and artistic integrity. His intense productions aim to create timeless sonic experiences. Despite his youth, LPV has achieved significant milestones, including the 2025 release of his EP “QUANTUM LEAP” on MONNOM BLACK, founded by DAX J. The EP garnered acclaim from techno purists and was featured by renowned artists at major festivals. With a background in classical music and sound design, he constantly explores new techniques to push his sound further. Through his live sessions, VOICEX experiments with real-time manipulation, aiming for a more visceral, unpolished energy. He’s currently focused on carving out his own sonic identity darker, more stripped-down, and emotionally charged. To sum it up best, Juno sees techno as a textbook through culture and history. The Queens, NY-born Jamaican DJ has always gravitated toward electronic music since they were younger, but it wasn’t until after their time living in Germany and North Carolina that they realized how much deeper this music goes. Through their own research and the guidance of the owners of the former NC record store 641 RPM (shoutout E&T), they discovered the roots and sound of the music we all love. Underground Resistance, DJ Bone , Jay Denham , and many more acts and individuals inspired them and shaped what this music means to them, as well as what it can teach to so many, such as themes of resistance, community, and humanity. Now living back in Queens, they’ve been making their way around the circuit, playing at notable spots like Bossa Nova Civic Club, Signal and H0L0 , where they’ve shared the stage with techno OGS such as Joey Beltram, Adam X, DJ Shufflemaster, Mike Dearborn, and Shawnscape Renegade. While their growth may not be exponential, they’re truly in this for the long game and the love of the sound.
