“While many DJs approach genre adventurously, few are as expansive and unique as CCL.”

While many DJs approach genre adventurously, few are as expansive and unique as CCL. With an incisive, technical and creative approach to mixing, and a ravenous appetite for music of all kinds, they can unite the unimaginable with a uniquely adaptable sense of dancefloor intuition. Drawing from experiences as a talent buyer, DIY festival organizer, and record collector with roots in Bristol and the DIY scenes of North America, CCL’s perspective draws from an affinity for fluidity and liminality – they weave together distinct narratives that open rhythmic wormholes between geographical regions, eras, and all genres and tempos. From their acclaimed club and festival sets, mixtapes, their liquidtime series, and their residency at Berlin institution Ohm, they showcase their unique take on sonic storytelling and otherworldly dancefloor intuition, uniting dance floors and chatrooms around the world. “A music nerd's DJ but also a DJ’s DJ”- Resident Advisor’s “Art of DJing”.Their RA profile lists 3024, Allergy Season, Fever AM, Planet Euphorique and 1 more.Recently at Tresor / Globus, RSO.BERLIN, Pastiche · often with Nono Gigsta, Vlada, Naone, none of them here that night

“She started working for the development of club culture in her native Venezuela since an early age.”

the whole biography
She started working for the development of club culture in her native Venezuela since an early age. There, she co-founded SOLO, the first club dedicated exclusively to electronic music in her hometown. Now she continues that labor in Berlin with not one but two vital community-focused club nights. Her first called Mess, Mindful Electronic Sonic Selections, a forward thinking club night happening at OHM which have a focus on femme and queer artist from diverse cultural backgrounds, and it's dedicated to the celebration of diversity and supporting DIY club culture around the world. Her newest Mala Junta, which she co-founded along with Dj Tool and that counts with D.dan, Yazzus and Why Be as residents, is considered one of Berlin’s fiercest underground queer-techno parties, with a focus on inclusivity, Mala Junta approaches the faster, groovier edges of dance music with an open mind and a relentless spirit. Hyperaktivist have directly influenced a shift in the scene in Berlin, not only through introducing her Tribal euphoric fresh sounds, with great influence in her roots from Latin America and the Caribbean coast where she grew up, but also by constantly nurturing and pushing up her community and advocating political values of equality & diversity at the forefront of her projects. Since being selected as one of the Shape Platform for innovative music artists in 2016, she has been touring around the world. You can find her playing from Berlin’s most renown clubs to all across Europe, USA and South America, always bringing her characteristic energy and commitment to the dance floors, merging genres with ease she takes influence both in her time spent in Berlin and South America.Their RA profile lists Proxima and Creatures of the Night.Recently at OXI, ÆDEN, RSO.BERLIN · often with Khloe, CEM, Kiddy Smile, none of them here that night

“Roza Terenzi is a manifestation of femmeforward rhythmic energy, spreading a concoction of sublime mind dance, irreverent sapphic mischief, & vivacious cybernetics throughout the universe.”

the whole biography
Roza Terenzi is a manifestation of femmeforward rhythmic energy, spreading a concoction of sublime mind dance, irreverent sapphic mischief, & vivacious cybernetics throughout the universe. Since emerging from her birthplace in the Australian underground, she’s helped to usher in a fantastically playful innovation to dancefloors worldwide through her uniquely enamoring recklessness, irresistibly unruly kinetic frequencies, & a stylishly frenetic visual aesthetic. Combining rave sonics across style & era with relentlessly naughty finesse & a bewitching effervescence true to her sound, her DJing embodies a vibrant synergy between arcane feminine exuberance, lush atmospheres, & nefariously trippy grooves - at once deeply transcendent, yet confident, chaotic, and fun loving at its core. Now based in Berlin, her vibrations on the decks are beloved worldwide - whether it’s through landmark festival slots at Dekmantel, Sonar, & Sustain Release, or blazing rave sets at celebrated party spots like Panorama Bar, Bassiani, De School, and likely your favorite club somewhere in the mix. As a producer, her music flirts with similarly enticing unknowns - zooming through spheres of her own elegant velocity, dissolving constraints of time & dimension as she fuses enchanted realms of spellbinding breakbeat science, introspective futch electronica, & devilishly tranced out enchantress anthems. Throughout beloved solo EPs on Kalahari Oyster Cult, Butter Sessions, & Maricas, & her full length “Modern Bliss” LP on Planet Euphorique, she demonstrates an effortlessly eclectic refusal to be confined to any one genre or tempo - blowing convention a kiss goodbye as she ultimately lets her audacious spirit shine through in all that she creates. Her fiercely universal approach also extends into a deep love of collaboration essential to her practice, exemplified through EPs as B'Zircon with Fantastic Man, Current Obsession with Furious Frank, & the much acclaimed “Edge of Innocence” full length LP with D. Tiffany on Delicate Records. Always keen to share the resonance of her inner world, she is presently curating her "Step Ball Chain" imprint as an inventive repository for her productions with a cadre of likeminded freaks & friends - est. in 2020, & only set to expand in sound & vision as it continues to unite chillers, ravers, & lovers everywhere. Simultaneously a daringly original voice in our present day hellscape while also indulging the heavenly potential of rave music’s heyday, she refuses to engage with nostalgic ideas of euphoria - instead focusing on the energy of music across eras that dares to imagine a more magical present & future for us all.Their RA profile lists Dekmantel, Butter Sessions, Voyage, Good Company (AU) and 6 more.Recently at Backsteinboot, RSO.BERLIN, Tresor / Globus · often with Mike Midnight, emkay (FI), ISAbella, none of them here that night
“After intentionally spending years on the fringes of experimental dance music, 2015 saw Lee embracing the conventional release format for the very first time, accordingly establishing himself as a formidable emergent voice in dance music’s larger conversation.”

After intentionally spending years on the fringes of experimental dance music, 2015 saw Lee embracing the conventional release format for the very first time, accordingly establishing himself as a formidable emergent voice in dance music’s larger conversation. The resulting Snipestreet EP on Rabit’s Halcyon Veil label notably found the artist exercising a newfound mastery over original productions, in lieu of his usual, unruly approach to bootlegs and edits. Upon release it garnered widespread critical acclaim, with tracks and videos from it being premiered on DIS Magazine, a full-length interview appearing on The FADER, and Heroin Hat making it to FACT Magazine’s best club tracks of the year list. Since his debut, he's also collaborated with the likes of Rabit, Chino Amobi and Lexxi as well as released music on his own label Yegorka. Lee’s sound both on record and behind the CD-Rs defies easy compartmentalization: if anything, it is defined by its visceral uncategorizability. He’s as likely to draw on ballroom and rap as instrumental grime, but it’s Lee’s radically singular approach to putting it all together that makes him so exciting. Even if the ingredients are familiar, the end product never is: his hectic, cathartic, and uncompromising style of club music ultimately stands completely in its own lane.Recently at RSO.BERLIN, Schinkel Pavillon, ZENNER · often with Nico Adomako, Kim Ann Foxman, mi-el, none of them here that night
