Whether behind her laptop, the dj booth or the kitchen stoves, Emilia mixes her passion to create memorable experiences with a clear goal: making a difference through taste. Born and raised in Sicily and now based in Berlin, she carries the sea and the sun in everything she makes and defines herself not with one particular genre, rather with a broad style that translates into flawless mixes of pure rhythmic energy. A music lover first and foremost, you can find Emilia having a blast while dropping house, disco and techno beats in a club, or meticulously crafting an experimental radio set or soundscape. Spending years honing her craft and playing renowned stages in her home of Sicily and her newfound home of Berlin, Emilia is convinced making music is political. With a personal motto of “we are what we listen to,” she deliberately blurs the lines between her experience as a queer artist and the art that she puts out. That is why she founded the Sicily-based collective, Fluidae. The collective allows space for FLINTA* artists to experiment and gives them a platform not only to play their music rather to start and sustain crucial conversations on the gender gap in the music industry.

Originating from Italy and Indonesia, Tempestfeather is a music selector, writer, events curator, and radio host based in Berlin. Since stepping onto the scene in 2022, she has become a fixture in the underground circuit, recognized for her forward-thinking, groovy, and refined selections. She has performed at standout events like Tresor's New Faces and Mother’s Finest at OXI, and clubs including OHM, Gretchen, and Fitzroy; and played on radio stations including Refuge Worldwide, Noods, Balamii, and Canino FM. As a core member of Green Room—a bass-focused collective and event series with a UK slant—she’s also carved out a vital role within Berlin’s underground music community. Holding a monthly residency at Berlin listening bar YSY, she curates SWIRL — a space to explore her eclectic music crate and welcome artists who resonate with its adventurous spirit. Tempestfeather’s idiosyncratic sound was conceived in Cairo, shaped in London, and refined in Berlin. Channeling her background as a third-culture kid, writer, and poet, her dynamic DJ sets unfold like stories—fluid, layered, and emotionally resonant. A dedicated digger and sonic explorer, she expertly weaves everything from bass, dubstep, electro, breaks, and drum’n bass, through to house, driving techno, UKG, and experimental textures, refusing to settle into any single mould. As the host of poetry-driven “Sonic Stanza”—a spoken poetry and music show—on Refuge Worldwide, she curates intimate and immersive soundscapes that reflect her deep passion for storytelling, and for rhythm and sound. Drawing on her roots as a vocalist and guitarist, her dedication to artistic expression transcends mediums — and is in constant flux.
