BIOGRAPHY 2026 With a career spanning more than three decades, Mousse T. is widely regarded as one of Germany’s most influential and internationally acclaimed DJs, producers, songwriters, and label owners. A proud Hanoverian with a global reach, he has built a unique musical identity that effortlessly connects house, funk, soul, disco, and jazz, balancing underground credibility with worldwide commercial success. Mousse T. first gained international recognition in the late 1990s with genre-defining tracks such as “Horny” and “Is It ’Cos I’m Cool”, records that helped shape modern house music and continue to resonate on dancefloors today. His career reached a historic milestone when he co-wrote and produced “Sex Bomb” for Sir Tom Jones, a global hit that not only topped charts but also became one of the most successful late-career reinventions of a pop icon. The record secured Mousse T. a permanent place in music history and demonstrated his rare ability to fuse timeless funk energy with contemporary club culture. Over the years, Mousse T. has collaborated with an exceptional range of artists, including Quincy Jones, Roy Ayers, Randy Crawford, Byron Stingily, Andreya Triana, and many others. His work has been honored with a Grammy nomination and the prestigious Ivor Novello Award, recognizing his outstanding achievements as a songwriter and composer. His influence within the global house community was further confirmed when Traxsource named him House Artist of the Year in both 2018 and 2020. Central to his artistic vision is Peppermint Jam Records, the independent label he founded nearly 30 years ago. The label, which recently celebrated its 30th anniversary, has earned worldwide respect for its consistency, musical integrity, and long-term cultural relevance, standing as a testament to Mousse T.’s commitment to quality over trends. As a DJ and live performer, Mousse T. has built a formidable global reputation, performing at legendary venues and festivals such as Amnesia and Pacha Ibiza, Tomorrowland, Creamfields, Rex Club Paris, Cavo Paradiso Mykonos, Viper Room Los Angeles, and the Montreux Jazz Festival, where he has appeared with his live band. In the UK, he has also performed at KOKO London, one of the country’s most prestigious and culturally significant club venues. In 2025, he further reinforced his position at the forefront of international club culture through a highly successful residency with Glitterbox at Hï Ibiza, one of the world’s most influential club venues. The overwhelming response and consistently packed dancefloors have led to the residency being confirmed to continue into the following year. His current touring activity also includes major dates at Defected Croatia, Defected Malta, all Glitterbox activities for Germany, alongside recent performances in Mexico and upcoming tours across Australia and Asia. His recent collaboration with funk legend Bootsy Collins on the high-energy remix of “Bubble Pop” further underlines Mousse T.’s cross-generational appeal. Collins, reflecting on their long-standing connection dating back to their Warner Brothers days in Germany in the late 1990s, has described Mousse T. as an artist he first recognized for his creative vision and later admired for his producer skills in the studio. He has highlighted Mousse T.’s professionalism, his ability to ignite any party through his DJ sets, and his instinctive understanding of the dancefloor. According to Collins, Mousse T. was the natural first choice to rework “Bubble Pop” because of his deep knowledge of party culture, his constant awareness of what moves people, and the positive energy he brings by surrounding himself with good vibes. Beyond the studio and stage, Mousse T. continues to shape popular culture through television appearances, including his role as a judge on “Deutschland sucht den Superstar (DSDS)”, where he impressed with his musical expertise. Most recently, he achieved a major international success at the Festival di Sanremo, securing a strong third-place finish with “Apri tutte le porte,” produced together with Jovanotti and Gianni Morandi, outperforming 22 competing entries. Despite his vast catalogue, Mousse T.’s artistic philosophy remains focused on feel and authenticity. For him, truly great records are defined by world-class vocals combined with a certain raw attitude in the production. Whether behind the decks, in the studio, or on stage with live musicians and orchestras, Mousse T. continues to deliver soulful, groove-driven music, proving why he remains one of the most enduring and respected forces in electronic music today. With over 100 releases and remixes on acclaimed labels such as MoBlack, Dessous, Poker Flat, Crosstown Rebels, Stil vor Talent, Systematic, Bunny Tiger, Katermukke, Bar 25 Music, and Ritter Butzke, his prolific output cements his status as a house music innovator. Phonique's career catapulted to fame in 2004 with the iconic club anthems “The Red Dress” and “For the Time Being”. However, it was his timeless hit “Feel What You Want” from his 2010 album – amassing over 50 million views on YouTube – that solidified his global reputation. His four critically acclaimed albums showcase his evolving sound, diverse influences, and profound intuition for igniting dance floors worldwide. In July 2022, Phonique launched his label Zatar Music, debuting with a Korolova remix of “Feel What You Want.” The label highlights his melodic and Afro-Arabic house inspirations, drawing from his travels to countries like Jordan, Ukraine, and Armenia. With releases from artists such as Fairplay, Roo, Nilu, and Gui Boratto, Zatar Music embodies Phonique’s adventurous sonic vision. Remixes by Hyenah, Korolova, Gorje Hewek, and others have earned Zatar tracks spots in Black Coffee’s Spotify playlist and Adriatique’s iconic Cercle set. 2022 also marked Phonique’s residency at Berlin’s renowned club Ritter Butzke, following his debut release on their label. Playing alongside international stars like Korolova and Franky Wah, Phonique continues to inspire with his electrifying performances. As “Identification”, his debut album, approached its 20th anniversary, Phonique is planning a special release featuring acoustic reinterpretations and fresh remixes of classics like “For the Time Being feat. Erlend Oye” and “Café Monte Carlo feat. Dixon”. This milestone reaffirms his ability to revisit and reinvent his own legacy. An unexpected highlight in 2024 was the resurgence of “Feel What You Want” in its slowed version, trending on Shazam charts in Russia, Belarus, Ukraine, and Kazakhstan, and peaking at #15 on the global Shazam charts. This momentum inspired an upcoming “All Mixes” release on Zatar Music, featuring remixes from Korolova, Vintage Culture, Bruno Be, Tom Novy, Aka Aka, and a highly anticipated new version by Ukrainian duo Artbat. From his trailblazing productions to his residencies and label endeavors, Phonique remains a driving force in house music, pushing boundaries while staying true to the genre’s essence.
Their RA profile lists Poker Flat Recordings, Buzzin Fly, Dessous Recordings, Moodmusic and 6 more.

Born and raised in Berlin with Polish roots, Westside Bass is a DJ and producer operating at the high-energy intersection of Hard Bounce and Hard Techno, seamlessly blending both worlds into powerful, forward-driving sets. His sound is defined by punchy grooves, relentless momentum and bold synth work, often shaped by acid-infused textures that keep the intensity consistently high. A distinctive element of Westside Bass’ sets is the integration of exotic and unexpected sonic elements — from tribal bongos and Congo-style drums to flutes and oriental plucked instruments. These organic touches cut through the hardness of the sound, adding character, tension and a recognizable signature. Always focused on energy and movement, Westside Bass builds sets that evolve dynamically, where bouncing rhythms flow naturally into harder, more industrial techno passages. The result is a highly physical, immersive club experience designed to push dancefloors forward without losing groove or identity. A regular presence in Berlin’s club scene, Westside Bass is a rising artist who has already begun expanding internationally, steadily carving out a sound that balances raw power with distinctive musical detail.
