Like it or not, the only path towards being a talented dj is having loads and loads of experience. The ability to gather a record bag together and please a random dance floor in a random city is an acquired skill that only grows with practice. Eddie Richards, dance music’s quintessential pioner and "Britain’s godfather of house and techno" (Mixmag) was one of the first DJs to champion house back in the mid 8O’s & one of the UK s original mix DJ's who became a key figure in a new music and cultural movement soon to explode worldwide. After playing at such influential and original underground clubs as Clink St. & Heaven in London and Manchester's Hacienda, he went one to headline the legendary UK pay parties Sunrise. Energy and Helter Skelter among countless others. Remix and production work led to the release of club classics; ’Acidman’ in ’88 which hit the UK Top 20, followed by other chart topping remixes of Ralphi Rosario, Orbital and The Shamen. Eddie has been included in virtually every book, documentary and film about dance culture and is sought after all over the world for his flawless mix of deep bass driven techno with soulful & tough house, a format he has always maintained, and has led him to be widely regarded as the pioneer of what is now known as ’tech-house’.Their RA profile lists fabric Records, End Recordings, Visitor, Rescue Recordings and 6 more.often with deep creep, Adam Collins, Radio Escada, none of them here that night

Grant Dell With over 40 releases, you may know him as Uhuru Beats, Croydon Punks Ltd, Masonic Noodles, or the Chicago Transit Authority. Grant’s first release as Tribalation - EP1 on Loaded records got licensed to Strictly Rhythm; the rest is dance music history. The son of a jazz musician, Grant’s teen years rebelled to the raw aesthetic of punk, but his tastes quickly warmed to the rolling basslines of dancehall and dub reggae. South London soundclashes cemented his love of gritty low-slung frequencies. And then acid house. Down Clink Street, deep underground to Heart and Soul and onto to countless warehouse parties, Grant took his innate appreciation of dancefloor dynamics behind the decks. Grant’s shared love of the best of Chicago house and Detroit techno started morphing into a sound in the early days that could only be detected in the mix. He’s now widely regarded as a Tech-House pioneer, but his influences span a far broader spectrum – Early disco to post punk - Barrington Levy to Basic Channel with a splash of soul and that inimitable swing. In 1996, after securing a one-year residency at the Underground Cafe in Sydney, Australia, and a one-year residency at the Red Zone in Auckland New Zealand, Grant embarked on the first ever tech-house world tour alongside fellow pioneers Terry Francis, Mr. C and Colin Dale. In 2001 Tribalation were voted DJ Magazine’s Best Newcomers. A succession of solo releases followed on key US labels; Tango, Plastic City, Detour, Nightshift, Big Chief, Stupendous, Headtunes, Worship, Leaf and Utensil Recordings. Grant was soon spending most of his time stateside collaborating with the likes of Tony Hewitt, Jay Tripwire, Tyler Stadius and Adam Collins. With his tracks finding their way onto mix compilations by Fabric, Renaissance, Tyrant , Nu Breed Global Underground ,Turbo Recordings, La Terrazza and DC-10 in Ibiza, Grant was soon spinning his wares everywhere from Canada to Costa Rica and Brazil to Buenos Aires. In the UK, his remixes for Hooj Choons and releases on Bosh, Tag, Evasive and Rescue Recordings have extended and enhanced his reputation. He’s rocked the glitterati at Pacha in Argentina and the Rex in Paris, but he’s in his element at underground house temples like Wiggle and Kerfuffle. Watch out for his new releases in 2013 on Murge and Blockhead Recordings and DCS Trax - search under Croydon’s favourite US import. http://www.discogs.com/search?grant+dell&type=all&page=1Their RA profile lists Hooj Choons, Worship Recordings, Loaded Records, Visitor and 6 more.often with Shvili, Dati, CAMILLA, none of them here that night

Blessed with versatile talent, both as an outstanding DJ and exquisite producer, Tripmastaz is one of finest exports to the global underground house/minimal scene. Residing in Berlin, he’s busier than ever; with recent releases of his fresh Respect The Craft imprint, very few artists managed to stay in the game for so long and remain this fresh, humble, and sonically adventurous. From working on an instrumental trip-hop album and managing a string of secret labels to co-producing music and touring alongside no other than Ricardo Villalobos and DJ Sneak, these last years further established Tripmastaz as a world-class DJ and an artist to look out for. With appearances spanning from Ibiza, Caprices, Sunwaves, Tresor, Boiler Room and Zanzibar Pyramid to smaller-yet-refined venues such as Club der Visionare, Hoppetosse, or Wilde Renate, Tripmastaz manages to remain as surprising and dynamic as a promising upcoming talent. With over 20 years of experience as a music producer and a relentless digger at heart with an affinity for old and rare records, Tripmastaz is a restless artist exploring several corners of the electronic music spectrum. Over the past two decades, Andrei’s unique production style found several homes for his music, either among giants such as Cocoon, Ovum, Cadenza, and Hot Trax or underground imprints like Yoyaku and Bass Culture to name a few. In the past 5 years his decades-long experience as a producer culminated in Tripmastering - analog mixing and mastering studio.Their RA profile lists Respect The Craft.Recently at Golden Gate, Hoppetosse, Renate · often with Inga!, Saktu, EXTRA, none of them here that night

Affectionately nicknamed, ‘The Wizard of OOZ’, Laurence is known for his say less, do more attitude toward the art of digging and DJing. His well-considered sets span the eclectic breadth of underground dance music and are encompassed by a deep, groove-ridden and soulful aesthetic with a tendency toward the obscure. Dub, reggae and jazz all inform the style of electronic music he plays and have done since he began collecting records aged 17. Born and raised in South London, UK, Laurence is an artist, DJ and avid record digger/collector. Having grown up within his parent’s dance school, dance music and rhythm were instilled from a young age. Laurence worked at record shops from his late teens into early twenties and spent two years working and cutting his teeth playing at in-house parties at the infamous, Palace Vinyl from the tender age of 21. Laurence made his club debut aged 18 and has played across the UK and Europe since, including b2b sets with both DeWalta and Reiss (VBX). As co-founder of The OOZ Collective, OOZ Records label and a resident DJ at OOZ and Palace Vinyl, Laurence has been gaining traction in London’s underground scene in recent times. Recent bookings include Fabric NYE 2023, Little Portland Street in support of Bushwacka and The Lion & Lamb with Shakolin (Closer) and he will be making his Wiggle debut this summer (2024) alongside Terry Francis and Harry McCanna.often with Adam Collins, Denninger, Aazure, none of them here that night

Known for his precise taste and deep knowledge of underground club music, he has become an important connector between independent labels, producers and record stores worldwide, quietly shaping the circulation of contemporary electronic sound. As a DJ, Joe channels the same sensibility that defines his work behind the counter: vinyl-led, stripped-back and driven by groove rather than spectacle. His sets unfold patiently, built from warm, fluid rhythms and subtle shifts in energy that favour long-form storytelling over quick peaks. There’s a sense of trust in his selections, informed by years of digging, listening and cureration. Through black.round.twelve, Joe continues to champion high-quality pressings and uncompromising artistic vision. Whether in the booth or behind the scenes, he stands as a committed custodian of underground culture — grounded, consistent, and firmly dedicated to the craft of selection.Recently at Kater, Bulbul Berlin, Club der Visionaere · often with ILKI, Etiennette, Daniel Czerner, none of them here that night
